A consumers view on corporate social responsibility and the internet based apparel commerce.Author: Fanny Bergström & Isabelle BlancMentor: Emma SvenssonPurpose: The purpose of this thesis was to examine the attitudes and experiences of consumers in relation to Internet based commerce and corporate social responsibility. The study is based on the following questions; 1. How do costumers perceive Internet based companies and their work with CSR-questions? 2.

The aim of this study was to examine how the new established phenomenon of ?Internet drugs? causes challenges to organizations, both individually and in relation to collaboration. The study is based on qualitative semi-structured interviews with representatives from three organizations - one youth police unit, one medical addiction centre and four units working within social services. The theoretical approach that was used is theory about human service organizations, theory about collaboration and new institutional organizational theory. A conclusion is that the current drug classification is problematic and mainly challenging for the organizations that focus on prevention work and early interventions.

Bakgrund: Internet används globalt inom många områden och aktuell forskning visar att gravida kvinnor använder Internet till att söka information om graviditet och förlossning. En graviditet innebär många frågor hos kvinnan och kvinnor söker efter information för att få en trygghet och försäkran om att allt är normalt med deras hälsa och barnet i magen.Syfte: Syftet är att undersöka gravida kvinnors informationssökning via Internet avseende graviditet och förlossning.Metod: Beskrivande tvärsnittstudie. Datainsamling skedde via en enkätundersökning och data analyserades med deskriptiv och jämförande ansats.Resultat: Nästan alla kvinnor i undersökningen använde Internet för att söka information om graviditet och förlossning. Kvinnorna söker information om barnets utveckling, kost/näring och graviditetslängd i hög utsträckning. Högutbildade kvinnor har andra kriterier för trovärdighet på hemsidor än kvinnor med lägre utbildning.Slutsats: Barnmorskor bör vara medvetna om gravida kvinnors användning av Internet samt själva skapa sig en uppfattning om informationen som de gravida kvinnorna läser på Internet.

I detta arbete undersöker jag frågan om hur svenska företags Internetanvändning ser ut samt hur de upplever att de påverkas av Internet. Jag har även gjort en jämförelse i denna fråga mellan företag inom IT-området och företag inom andra områden.Rapporten inleds med en genomgång av de användningsområden för Internet som litteraturen anger vara de vanligaste för företag. Vidare presenteras vilka vinster och kostnader som kan härledas från en Internetsatsning, hur det dagliga arbetet kan förändras vid införandet av Internet samt hur företagen sköter arbetet med deras Internetsatsning.För att kunna besvara frågan har jag använt mig av telefonintervjuer som metod för att samla in material. 24 svenska företag fick frågor om deras Internetsatsning, 12 företag från IT-området och 12 företag från andra områden.Resultatet visar på en relativt stor kunskap om Internet inom svenska företag samt att IT-företagen ligger en bit före företagen med verksamhet inom andra områden än IT vad gäller användandet av Internet..

Syfte/purpose: Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur den svenska spelmarknaden har påverkats av Internets framväxt. Uppsatsen avgränsas till att se hur Svenska Spel bemöter de nya konkurrenterna på Internet. Det vill säga vilka marknadsstrategier Svenska Spel använder sig av, dessutom undersöks hur spelarna värderar de nya spelmöjligheter som framkommit. / The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how the development of the Internet has affected the Swedish betting market. Assessing student teachers through conversation - an interactional analysis of student-teaching conferencesThe aim of this study is to identify the characteristics of student-teaching conferences. During a school-based education for student teachers, teacher educators from the university visit the student teachers. They also have conversations, so-called student-teaching conferences, with the students school mentors to assess the student teachers knowledge. These conversations aim at assessing the student teachers professional knowledge at the end of a shool-based education.

Uppsatsen handlar om hur tibetaner använder sig av Internet i strävan efter en nationell identitet och i kampen för ett fritt Tibet. Med information från fyra tibetaner analyseras olika webbplatser kopplade till den tibetanska diasporan för att se om denna koppling finns. Med hjälp av tidigare diaspora forskning och Benedict Andersons tankar om en föreställd gemenskap görs en analys av kopplingen mellan diasporan, Internet och en föreställd gemenskap. Abstracts: This essay discuss how Tibetans use Internet in their effort to maintain a national identity and their struggle for a free Tibet. With information from four Tibetans, Internet sites connected to the Diaspora is analyzed to see if this connection exists.

The mobile revolution is here to stay, and today most people have (at least) one cell phone at home. Some even a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant)as a complement for the simpler tasks at the office, e.g sending e-mail, word processing, browsing the Internet etc. Many business have also given the employees the opportunity to do some of the business tasks inbetweeen customer visits with the help from a cell phone or PDA.Despite all this, the so called Internet connected mobile revolution is often mentioned as a big failure. Maybe because the people in general tended not to use the new technology as much as the companies predicted. This could be because they still haven't learned how it works, or just don't seem to have the need for services provided.After a couple of failures in the development process, almost every cell phone has support for mobile Internet today.

This study investigates the internet habits of students in the Swedish gymnasium. The part that internet plays in their lives and their attitude towards the educational system is reflected upon the philosophical background that stretches from Kant to postmodern philosophers such as Baudrillard. The aim is to create knowledge about how the social aspects of the internet affects their concepts of reality and their own and others identities. The method used for the collection of empirical data has been semi-structured interviews, preformed with students in a Swedish gymnasium. The data is then interpreted against the theoretical and philosophical background.

Internet access has been a part of the range in public libraries for approximately a decade. The Swedish municipals, in charge of the public libraries, and the libraries themselves, have a great deal of saying in how they should be run, what to offer the public, how many hours they have to stay open etcetera. The Library law is very vague on many things, including public Internet access. Even though Sweden is ranked as first runner up worldwide when it comes to Internet penetration among the population (Internet World Stats 2007), approximately twenty percent in the 16-74 age group does not have Internet access at home, at work or at school (SCB 2006a). In this master thesis we try to determine, through personal interviews, how six of those in charge feel about Internet at their libraries, all located in medium-sized municipals (20 000 ? 40 000 inhabitants), why they have chosen the rules and regulations they have and their thoughts about what they consider to be the most important assignment of public libraries.

The purpose of this qualitative study has been; how social bonds are interlaced between the social worlds contained within the analytical division of ?outside Internet? and ?within Internet?. What happens with the social bond as the individual oscillate between this analytic bisection? This purpose raises important questions of the use of Internet in everyday life.A new stance is taken toward studying the Internets integration into everyday life. The focus is adjusted to the importance of emotions.

I en allt större utsträckning brer internet ut sig och det är viktigt fundera över vad detta betyder för skolan. Detta arbetes syfte har varit att få en förståelse om lärares uppfattning om internets roll i skolan. Via fokusgrupper har lärares resonemang om hur och varför internet ska användas i skolan insamlats. Resultatet innebar ett ointresse från lärarnas sida för allmänna riktlinjer men istället kunde de se många användningsområden för internet i skolan. Dessa användningsområden visade på en bred pedagogisk grund med koppling till både Piaget, Dewey och Vygotsky.

The wind power increase of Gotland as well as other parts of Sweden during the last ten year period has meant that this renewable energy source has increased its share over other fossil sources. The year of 2011 became the first when the wind power produced more energy than an average nuclear reactor. Now that wind power is in an expansive phase, the land issue will be of great interest. Land with good wind resources will be of interest to wind energy developers. The problems that this essay is based on are; how can landowners altering the economic conditions at a wind power establishment? What opportunities and obstacles exist for landowners who choose to set up wind power on their land? The purpose of this essay is to highlight the economic conditions that exist for landowners for the establishment of wind farms, with regard to compensation for the leasing and return on invested capital.

Syftet med studien är att få en ökad kunskap om varför småföretag väljer att börja medmarknadsföringsinsatser på Internet. Helt enkelt få insikt om vad som drivit småföretag att ta steget till att implementera Internet till sin verksamhet. För att se hur det hör ihop med att valav aktiviteter och verktyg som används i marknadsföringssyfte. Även se om det görs någon form av uppföljning av de olika processerna..

Utgångspunkten i detta magisterarbete inom ämnet Interaktionsdesign var att se varför barn i dagens skola tycker att skolarbetet blir tråkigare ju högre upp i årskurserna de kommer. Vidare drog jag slutsatserna, utifrån litteraturgenomgång, att någon gång i årskurs 4-6 börjar eleverna i skolan att tappa lusten för skolarbetet. Var det allt skolarbete eller bara vissa ämnen som eleverna tyckte var tråkigt? Varför var det tråkigt? Kunde jag göra något åt saken?.
