Alla patienter som genomgår någon typ av operation där man penetrerar huden har en ökad risk att drabbas av en postoperativ sårinfektion. Syftet var att utforska de preoperativa åtgärderna huddesinfektion och hårborttagning relaterat till uppkomsten av postoperativa sårinfektioner. Metoden var en systematisk litteratur studie där nio artiklar användes som underlag. Resultatet visade att klorhexidin reducerar bakterierna på huden, men ingen signifikant minskning av antalet postoperativa sårinfektioner kunde påvisas. Too much attention has been given to mainstream approaches in performance management and management accounting research, without taking in to account changes in the environment with the rapid growth of online retailing. This paper evaluates how and/or if performance management differs in online contexts by using a conceptual model developed by Ferreira et al (2009). The model and its components are tested on three multichannel- and six e-commerce businesses. The result and its analysis is commented on by two e - commerce experts. The result shows that the operation method of the models twelve components do not differ in terms of work methods in online and offline contexts.

I dagsläget finns tydligt regelverk som anger hur byggnader skall uppföras, dock saknas hjälpmedel för att kraven skall anses tillgodosedda på stora och komplexa byggnader som finns inom industrin, skall dimensioneras för att tillfredsställande brandskydd ska uppnås. Detta resulterar i att analytisk dimensionering (dimensionering baserad på uträkningar till skillnad mot förenklad dimensionering vilken i princip följer de allmänna råden) som regel måste användas även vid mindre byggnationer. Syftet med examensarbetet är att påvisa eventuella oklarheter i det existerande regelverket (Boverkets byggregler, BBR) 1 för brandskydd av industribyggnader i Sverige, där reglerna för förenklad dimensionering inte är anpassade för byggnader med industriell verksamhet. Målet är att om möjligt komma fram till hur man skall resonera vid dimensionering av brandskyddet i dessa byggnader utifrån en diskussion om rådande lagstiftning och de skillnader som påvisats mellan Sveriges och andra länders regelverk. Arbetet består av en litteraturstudie av de regelverk som finns för brandskydd i Sverige, där de avsnitt som är problematiska för industribyggnader lyfts fram.

This report is a thesis on requests from Sandvik Mining and Construction (SMC) in autumn of 2012. The goal of this work was to study the feasibility of creating and implementing an Equalized preventive maintenance program in SMC maintenance operations and reduce downtime for preventive maintenance (PM). To investigate whether this was possible, the authors studied the current procedures for the PM. The authors have collected and analyzed all relevant information within the maintenance department reporting system as well as through interviews determined whether it is practical to introduce a Equalized PM programs. The authors had also studied the possibilities to entrust part of the maintenance work to the operators of the machine cells.

SammanfattningIntro En ny sorts kirurgi är under utveckling där man använder ett endoskop vid ryggradsfrakturer. Det finns ett behov att simulera denna operation för att kunna träna kirurger. Därför har en prototyp av ett endoskop utvecklats till ett program som simulerar benborrning vid mekatronikavdelningen på institutionen för maskinteknik på Kungliga Tekniska högskolan.Systemutveckling Projektet innefattade konstruktion av ett endoskop (rör, verktyg, sensorer och ställdon) som styrs (mikrokontroll) och kommunicerar (RS232) med ett benborrningsprogram. Benborrningsprogrammet använder Virtual Reality och haptik som utökades för att inkludera endoskopet.Resultat Det nyutvecklade endoskopet kan nu användas för att simulera ett titthållsingrepp och betraktas tillsammans med verktygen som en haptisk enhet i benborrningsprogrammet. Detta medför att endoskopet visualiseras grafiskt och kan kollidera med benet.Slutsats Endoskopsimulering av ryggradsfrakturer kommer bli möjlig i en nära framtid och har stor potential men kräver vidare forskning..

AbstractAt the UN Conference on Environment and Development in 1992 the nations stated that traditional environmental policies were not sufficient to handle the multidimensional challenges posed by sustainable development. Governments needed to broaden their political decision making procedures in order to coordinate and integrate environmental, social and economic policies. Therefore a new tool was introduced in Agenda 21, National Strategies for Sustainable Development (NSDS). The aim of an NSDS would be to bring together actors from all parts of society to jointly reach a consensus on how to work towards the vision of a sustainable society. An NSDS would be seen as a strategic tool to help focus national policies for SD.

Laws, regulations and generally accepted accounting principles hold options on how companies should recognize revenue. Generally accepted accounting principles are determined by standard-setting bodies as the Accounting Standards Board and the Financial Supervisory Authority, which is influenced by international standard-setting bodies as the IASB. Service revenue is generally recognized when performance is completed, but there are variations in when a performance is considered complete. The different accounting options available create difficulties in comparing companies over time and between companies, which in turn creates difficulties to achieve a true and fair view. By clarifying what methods and principles in accounting for service income the unlisted companies in Sweden are using and why these differences exist, we have been able to study how the comparability and the true and fair view is affected by these differences. This paper will answer which factors are important for the business relation between a small Swedish import company and a Chinese contractor. The problem is based partly in theories that points to cultural and organizational differences between Sweden and China, and partly in current examples from Swedish companies. The relevant data has been collected by interviews with three small Swedish companies that are currently using Chinese contractors.The result is that the differences between the countries and organizations exist, but that they do not interfere with the inter-company relations. This thesis has been carried out in collaboration with LEDtec International AB. LEDtec focuses on innovative solutions in LED screens. Everything from large advertising signs to welcome signs in cities, to screens indicating speeds or warning of heavy traffic. The task was to was to help them develop a new version of the control board that is used in some of their products. The reason for this is that their old control board is obsolete and the components that are on it, is no longer manufactured or in need to be renewed.

Tematiserande intervjuer har genomförts för att undersöka och förstå huruvida vuxendöva personer som har genomgått en CI-operation har iakttagit förändringar i sin identitetsupplevelse när hörseln förbättrats. Studien är kvalitativ och utgår från individens egna upplevelser kring cochlea implantat (CI). Antalet implantat ökar. Studien belyser personliga berättelser och erfarenheter av CI när man återfår hörselförmåga. Dessa berättelser är mycket viktiga eftersom de ger oss kunskap om det stöd dessa personer behöver genom deras rehabilitering, en slags kunskap som fortfarande i stor utsträckning saknas.
