The aim was to describe the experiences of couples where the male partner had undergone radical prostatectomy due to prostate cancer. Furthermore, the study explored how the operation had affected their sexual life, whether the couples had received enough post surgical support and information concerning these issues, and to describe the kind of support and information these couples desired. Twenty men and ten partners participated. All the men experienced a varying degree of post surgical erectile dysfunction and only five men had received support concerning their sexual life. Eleven men desired professional visiting support activities.

A majority of the payments that are carried out today are executed through the electronic payment systems. Payments that are executed through these systems are administrated by payment service providers, these providers are, in general, banks. In spite of the socio-economic importance of payments and payment intermediation, there is an uncertainty regarding the legal status of payments and payment intermediation. Some describe payment intermediation as transport of means of payments, while some describe it in terms of claims and intermediation of information. There is, in other words, a need for clarification.

Denna rapport beskriver arbetet med utvecklingen av en ny modell för kaplanturbiner. Utvecklingen bygger på två kopplade differentialekvationer som under arbetets gång anpassats och implementerats i turbinmodellen.Modellen beskriver hur vattenflöde och turbinmoment påverkas av avvikelsen från den optimala kombineringskurvan för vinklarna på turbinens ledskena och löphjul, och är anpassad för ett referensaggregat med tillgängliga provdata. Även övriga enheter i vattenkraftaggregatet modelleras och sätts samman med frekvensregulator och elnät för att simulera aggregatets reglerstabilitet i önätsdrift.Verifieringen av turbinmodellen sker genom försök att återskapa de befintliga verkningsgradskurvorna med hjälp av modellen. Resultatet visar en god följning av de verkliga kurvformerna, dock med något lägre maximal verkningsgrad.Verifieringen av önätmodellen sker genom att prova stabiliteten i nätfrekvens och turbineffekt vid stegpålastningar. Introduction: A big part of the patients that recently has gone through operation at surgical units experiences pain in different scales after their operation. Untreated postoperative pain has been proved in different studies to increase to risk medical complications, longer rehabilitation, more days at the hospital and higher expenses for the hospital. One of the nurses? main tasks is to notice and relieve the pain of the patients. To engage the patients more in the medical process and make the nurses´ work more person-centered could make an impact on the postoperative pain and contribute to a better pain relief.

International Contract Law presently offers three sets of principles: the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts (the UNIDROIT Principles), the Principles of European Contract Law (the PECL) and the Draft Common Frame of Reference (the DCFR). These sets of principles contain general principles which are intended to serve as model rules. The three sets of principles have been published, but they have not been adopted. The UNIDROIT Principles and the PECL are not meant to be adopted either. There are different opinions as to whether the sets of principles can be considered to be a source of legal status at all.The sets of principles have been referred to in Swedish law.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka psykologiska aspekter och konsekvenser av att genomgå en Gastric bypass-operation. Åtta intervjuer utfördes och analyserades med Grundad teori. Sex kategorier utformades: negativt bemötande/positivt bemötande, jag/andra, dumping som vän/dumping som fiende, att tillhöra massan/att stå ut från massan, eget ansvar/andras ansvar och bevarad självbild/förändrad självbild.

Concept - detail - buildingStockholm International Fairs, new main entrance I studied at the KTH School of Architecture from 1995 to 2000. After completing my studies I wanted to work in an office that had a structural way of thinking and that knew the building process; I therefore chose to work for Rosenberg Architects. I have worked on a number of projects, among them several for the Stockholm International Fairs, from the Rica Talk Hotel and Hall AE, to the new main entrance.In the projects we undertook at the School of Architecture we had to identify and draw details that were central to our concepts. I have here identified some key details that we considered to be essential for the concept in a built project; the new main entrance of the Stockholm International Fairs completed in 2013. The entrance has complex logistics with multiple intersecting flows: exhibitors, employees, journalists, VIPs and others.

This will be done partly by an examination of how the participants themselvesperceive citizendialogue. Their descriptions are put in relation to deliberative democracy and its critics amongst other. Partly by study how those involved have choosen to put it into practice. The opponents of the reorganization chose to start a non-profit association, Rasbo in co-operation, to carry on local mobilization and it will be compared with other similar groups.

Syftet med en gastric bypass- operation är att åstadkomma en viktminskning genom en förminskning av magsäcken, vilket resulterar i minskad hungerkänsla och reducerat matintag. Ett centralt mål inom överviktskirurgi är en ökad livskvalité. Det är därför betydelsefullt att se behandlingen som en helhet och att inte iaktta viktminskning som den enda betydande faktorn.Syftet i denna studie var att beskriva hur personer som genomgår en gastric bypass-operation hanterar situationen före och efter operationen. Studien är induktiv och utgår ifrån en kvalitativ ansats och baseras på en manifest analys utifrån textens innehåll ur sex bloggar skrivna av personer som genomgått en gastric bypass-operation.

Hydropower is the largest renewable energy source available in today's society. Operation and production is handled by high-tech electronics. This thesis is done on behalf of Statkraft Sweden AB who wants to explore the possibility of replacing the hydraulic cylinder with an electric actuator, generally as well as a case of a small power station on the river Nissan. Whether it is the chaplain or francis turbine vanes are actuated by hydraulic cylinders. Because of Gustavsberg hydropower is inconstant operation, this report is based on power calculations, which are read and computed according to the available hydraulic diagram.

Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie är att beskriva variationen av strategier som elever använder sig av vid behandling av diskreta mängder inom tal i bråkform, då uppgifterna är av varierad art och där objekten är ordnade såväl som oordnade. För att erhålla ett brett underlag genomfördes uppgiftsdiagnoser, på 78 elever i årskurs sex, vilka utifrån elevernas svar och anteckningar analyserades för att identifiera förekommande strategier. Analysen resulterade i elva skilda strategier inom fyra övergripande kategorier: heltalstillämpning av tal i bråkform, formation av helhet, formation av enhet och operation på och med tal i bråkform.De ingående strategierna i kategorin heltalstillämpning av tal i bråkform nyttjar bråkuttryck som heltal på så vis att de ingående talen antingen utgör ett antal objekt eller ses som föremål för en operation. Inom formation av helhet ingår strategier inom vilka eleverna på olika sätt delar upp helheten utifrån nämnarens storlek medan strategierna inom formation av enhet har det gemensamt att eleverna utifrån sin förförståelse grupperar de ingående objekten i enheter. I vissa fall samlar eleverna objekten i större grupper medan elever i andra fall ser till varje enskilt objekt.

Today automotive manufacturers are facing a crisis with increased pressure to strengthen their brands. To prevent declining results many automakers have chosen to extend its brand to other industries i.e. various forms of brand extensions. Automotive manufacturers have developed an international strategy for what merchandise to offer. The strategy has received an overall positive response, however, it does not apply well within the Swedish market where merchandise is sold in less quantity than abroad.

The main focus of this study is to explore Swedish soldiers? experiences of the transition back to everyday life after international service missions. This includes the help and support that they have received and also what barriers to care they have experienced during the transition back to everyday life. The theoretical perspectives of this study are social identity and stigma theory. This study was performed using a qualitative method and includes six individual interviews with active duty officers within the Swedish armed forces.
