The purpose of this essay is to examine the Swedish governments discourse on integration of immigrants and thereby examine what social reality it constructs. The aim is to examine how integration and immigrants are constructed within the discourse. The method and theory being used in this essay is discourse theory. As a methodological instrument we use the policy on functional impairment as a comparison. The material being analyzed in this essay is political documents on the strategy on integration policy and the strategy on the policy of functional impairment.

The aim of this essay was to acquire an enhanced knowledge about young immigrants? point of view of integration. During a former practical training semester I became interested in what the young immigrants thought about their own integration, what their conception was about this issue. I found that it had different meaning to different persons, to some it meant assimilation, to others it meant being able to interact with the opposite gender. To examine this I used interviews and interviewed an amount of young immigrants in different stages of their studies in Swedish.

The study involves six Bosnian refugees experience of integration into Swedish society.The purpose of this study is, through the use of a qualitative method, to get an understanding of what the integration process in the Swedish society has been like for six Bosnian refugees.. These refugees fled from the war in former Yugoslavia and came to Sweden between the years 1992-1995. The country who was once called Yugoslavia is currently divided into six republics comprising, Bosnia-Hercegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia, with its provinces, Vojvodina and Kosovo. The main focus of the study has been in the respondent?s thoughts and experiences of integration into Swedish society.

The purpose of this study was to explore the approach of the personal in residential care homes, legal guardians and Refugee secretaries consider as effective in their efforts to care for and guide unaccompanied boys in the Swedish society. With the help of qualitative method and semi-structured interviews, we have taken note of eleven informants? perspective on what approach they believe to be essential in the work of integration process with unaccompanied boys. We used Empowerment and the Swedish Integration Board´s proposal on indicators of integration as a theoretical base. The results show among other things, that our informants believe the keys to integration in Sweden for the unaccompanied youth are the Swedish language, education and a stable social network.

The purpose of this paper was to examine social workers' experiences of integration of unaccompanied children. We aimed to study which factors in the individual and the community social workers experience affect the integration and how they, based on their understanding, work to promote integration. The essay has a phenomenological approach and focuses on the social workers' own experiences of the phenomenon. The empirical data was obtained from qualitative interviews conducted with five social workers, all administrators in cases involving unaccompanied children. The result shows that the social workers feel that the desire to integrate is the most important presumption that must be present in the unaccompanied children.

This essay is a case study that deals with the integration of Scania into Sweden,which started for over 300 years ago. The purpose is to capture why theintegration of Scania succeeded, what were the main reasons or factors and todiscuss the effects the scanian identity and culture had on the integration. This hasbeen done with the help of different theories that will help sort out main factors tothe successful integration. The result of the study revealed a number of factors, tobegin with the scanian identity appeared not to be such a great obstacle for theintegration that one could believe. The identity developed because of the?swedification?, which were the measures the Swedish government took tointegrate the new territory.

Detta är en kvalitativ studie som fokuserar på en facklig organisations betydelse för intern rörlighet. Syftet är att bidra med kunskap om och studera vilken roll en facklig organisation har för intern rörlighet av personal inom en kommun.Frågeställningarna rör fackliga företrädares och medlemmar i den fackliga organisationens uppfattningar om hantering av intern rörlighet, samt den fackliga organisationens främjande eller försvårande av denna.För att besvara frågeställningarna utifrån den kvalitativa ansats som tillämpas har empiri insamlats genom intervjuer med fyra personer från varje aktörsgrupp vilket resulterade i att åtta intervjuer genomfördes.Resultatet presenteras i två delar, en för varje aktörsgrupp. Av resultatet framkommer att den fackliga organisationen på många sätt uppfattas främja intern rörlighet för medlemmarna inom kommunen genom sitt arbete med att underlätta förutsättningarna för intern rörlighet. Resultatet visar också att det finns möjligheter för den fackliga organisationen att inom vissa områden förbättra sitt främjande arbete för medlemmarnas interna rörlighet inom kommunen.Studien har två slutsatser. Den ena är att den fackliga organisationen måste prioritera intern rörlighet som arbetsområde inom hela organisationen.

Uppsatsen har sin utgångspunkt i COSO:s ramverk där vi utifrån ramverket diskuterar företagens kontrollmiljö, riskbedömning, kontrollaktiviteter, kommunikation och uppföljning. Vi har vidare diskuterat andra relevanta teorier och normgivare.
