Web 2.0 represents the next generation of creating interactive applications on the Web. The purpose of this thesis was to develop a service tailored to Web 2.0 technology, where users can post ads for free. The platform is an advertising system specially designed for animals. Surveys and interviews have been done; the result is that today?s advertising services on the Internet are not interactive and user-friendly.The users have the possibility to adapt different part of the system to their needs, such as choice of themes.

IRB 340, Flexpicker is an industrial robot used for sorting, packaging and the handling of details up to two kg. The Flexpicker is a delta robot, meaning that it with three arms controls a triangular plate, swivel, in a work area shaped like a cylinder. Joints using plain bearings connect the arms.The plain bearing in use today consists of a plastic ring which slides against a hard anodized joint ball. Despite the fact that the plastic contain friction-lowering additives, the bearing needs to be lubricated to prevent noise. Because the robot is used in food and drug handling environments, where the demands on hygiene are set very high, the robot is often washed.

The purpose of this study was to explore students' and teachers' experiences of the new pedagogical teaching tool, interactive whiteboard, which have gained increased popularity and wide spread usage in the classrooms. An observation during a mathematical lecture was conducted as a pilot study prior to the main research method of phenomenology; based on students? self-descriptions and interviews with two teachers, this methodological approach was used to investigate the subject matter. The interpretation, comparison and analysis of the results surrounding this new teaching method is explained by two theories, constructivism and socio-cultural perspective. The information shared by the students and teachers have been broken down into four categories: enjoyment & interest, practical, insight and no different.
Antal liggbås per mjölkningsrobot i olika system för kotrafik : vilket är det mest gynnsamma antalet liggbås och kor per robot?
Detta examensarbete är en undersökning av hur många liggbås som finns i olika skötselsystem för robotmjölkning med dels fri kotrafik och dels olika former av styrd kotrafik.
Undersökningen föreslogs av Växa Sverige och är en enkät som skickades ut till 70 lantbrukare. Användbara svar till undersökningen lämnades av 44 av lantbrukare. I
undersökningen har vi valt att redovisa resultaten i 5 olika kategorier, Milk first, Feed first,
Frigående kotrafik, Flerboxsystem och Ekologiska.
Det finns idag inga rekommendationer för antalet liggbås per mjölkningsrobot baserade på praktisk erfarenhet, för lantbrukare som ska bygga nytt stall. De enda riktlinjer som finns är robotföretagens teorier och Sveriges djurskyddlag som kräver minst ett liggbås per ko.
I studien framkom att det var en stor variation i antal liggbås per robot och även i önskade antalet liggbås per robot. Faktorer som påverkade antalet liggbås var kornas medelavkastning, aktuellt system för kotrafik och hur lantbrukarna vande in kvigorna och sinkor till roboten
innan kalvning.
Jämförelse mellan BIM-verktygen Revit Structure och Tekla Structures
Den nya standarden Eurokod kräver omställningar på byggprojekteringskontoren i det hänseende att personalen måste lära sig att använda och följa denna standard. För knutpunkter i stål har det hittills funnits stöd i form av beräkningsmetoder och handböcker, men ännu har inte någon utförlig hjälp om hur man hanterar dem med Eurokod utkommit. Trots att dimensioneringsprocessen av knutpunkterna är mycket viktig vid projektering av stålkonstruktioner är processen långsammare än den kan vara. Därför vore det bra om man fann ett enklare och snabbare sätt att dimensionera knutpunkter i enlighet med Eurokod.Intervjuer har visat att dimensioneringsprocessen hittills fungerat så att beräkningarna sker för hand av en konstruktör enligt BKR:s regler, för att sedan modelleras i 3D av en projektör som slutligen får sina ritningar granskade av en tredje person.Genom fallstudier av standardknutpunkten BP1 söktes en förbättrad dimensioneringsprocess jämfört med den som intervjuerna beskrev. I fallstudierna dimensionerades BP1 för hand och med programmen Autodesk Robot Structure Professional Analysis 2011 och modellerades med Tekla Structure 16.0, hela tiden i enlighet med Eurokod.

A rhetorical analysis of the educational interactive film ?Riskprofilen?, produced by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (Swedish: Myndigheten för Samhällsskydd och Beredskap). This essay uses the theories and methods of Procedural Rhetoric, as described by Professor Ian Bogost, and Visual Rhetoric, as described by Professor Brigitte Mral to analyse the interactive and visual component parts of the artefact, and compares them to the intended purposes of the artefact as stated by documents pertaining to its creation, found to be those of educating the public; marketing the agency; and driving traffic to its webpage. The artefact is through analysis found to fulfil the purposes of marketing the Agency and of likely increasing traffic to the website upon which it is hosted. Regarding the primary, educational purpose this analysis finds that the artefact does not teach a user the accident-avoidance strategies it claims to do, but is dependent upon further materials..
A comparison between techniques for color grading in games
Color has been significant in visual arts for as long as the art-forms have existed. Still images and movies have long used colors and color grading effects to affect the viewer and characterize the work. In recent years attempts have been made to bring these techniques of stylizing also to interactive games. This dissertation aims to compare two different approaches of performing real-time color grading for games. Focus is put on examining the two ways from a number of different perspectives and from there draw conclusions on advantages and disadvantages of the approaches.

Some people do not have the opportunity to visit a physical exhibition because of limited time or long travelling distances, it is here the need for a web-based exhibition arises.This dissertation describes the development of an interactive web-site representing a part of a physical exhibition of over 200 interviews on different peoples immigration to inner Scandinavia. The interviews contain text, audio clip, pictures and video clip.The website contains modern programming technologies such as HTML5, ASP.NET MVC3, SQL, JavaScript and jQuery.A cover of the technologies used and how the project has been designed and implemented is explained in the dissertation. In the end of the dissertation we discuss about how the result of the project follows the goals we set up in the start phase. The result of this project is an interactive and easy to use web-site showing a part of the physical exhibition online. An easy administration to insert new information and edit existing without any major computer knowledge..
Tillståndsskattning i robotmodell med accelerometrar
The purpose of this report is to evaluate different methods for identifying states in robot models. Both linear and non-linear filters exist among these methods and are compared to each other. Advantages, disadvantages and problems that can occur during tuning and running are presented. Additional measurements from accelerometers are added and their use with above mentioned methods for state estimation is evaluated. The evaluation of methods in this report is mainly based on simulations in Matlab, even though some experiments have been performed on laboratory equipment.The conclusion indicates that simple non-linear models with few states can be more accurately estimated with a Kalman filter than with an extended Kalman filter, as long as only linear measurements are used.

In my degree project, I explore the importance of distance and how our perception of distance is affected by our experiences.During my investigatory work I studied the relation between distance and experiences. Among other things I concluded that distance can refer to several different kinds of distances (for example spatial, temporal or social distances) and that experiences are what you?ve learnt of these distances. The importance of distance can be illustrated by highlighting the effects of the distance, i.e. experiences.My degree project resulted in a pair of interactive binoculars which are used for looking at an virtual world of illustrations in 360°; a world of illustrations where distance and the importance of distance is shown..

This degree project is made for Sundbyholms Golf&Country Club in Eskilstuna. The aim of the report is to produce a website which include a golf course interactive guide and an online game. Programs that have been used during the project are Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Director, Discreet 3DS Max and the plug-in 3DS Max Exporter. The choice of programs are based on experience and knowledge from the university education Media and Communication Engineering at Linköping University. The golf course guide contains a 2D-guide (image) and a 3D-guide (interactive image).
Interactivation design : places for social imagination and conversation in Lindängelund
This master project in landscape architecture is named Interactivation Design - places for social imagination and conversation in Lindängelund. There are two main purposes of this thesis the first being to bring forth a study of interactivity implemented in the subject of landscape architecture. The second purpose of this thesis is to present a proposal to design a confluent landscape weaving together the upcoming botanical garden of Lindängelund and the residential area of Almvik, both situated in southern Malmö, Sweden, and also weaves people and their experiences together. This project may be described as investigative and experimentative reaserch by design.The first part of this project, Interactivation, is consisting of a theoretical report which discusses different ways of approaching when, how and why we interact in public space. Literature studies in for example space, placemaking, social life, people, participation and Japanese emptiness concepts has been undertaken to gain knowledge in the aim to create interactive landscape design.The second part, Context and Design Proposal, introduces the project context area of Southern Fosie in Malmö which consists of different kinds of residential areas, people of different nationalities and a large building site for a botanical garden and recreational area.

This thesis studies path generation for industrial robots of six degrees of freedom. A path is defined by connection of simple geometrical objects like arcs and straight lines. About each point at which the objects connect, a region, henceforth called a zone, is defined in which deviation from the defined path is permitted. The zone allows the robot to follow the path at a constant speed, but the acceleration needed may vary. Some means of calculating the zone path as to make the acceleration continuous will be presented.
Undersökning av mätsystem och regulatorstrukturer för industriella tillämpningar
This thesis is divided in to two different parts. The first part includes examination of the measurementsystem of an industrial robot using a resolver sensor. The main focus is on methods for suppressing noise in the angularvelocity signal without increasing timedelay. Five different methods are investigated. Three of these are based on oversampling: burstsamplingmethod, meanvaluemethod and correlationmethod.
