The aim of this qualitative respondent investigation is to delve into the various views that teachers have concerning the ?One-to-One project?, as well as the use of computers as an aid in teaching. One-to-One means that teachers and students will be equipped with a laptop they can use at home and at school.This essay looks at how several factors have changed as a result of this. These factors are threefold: the role of the teacher, the teaching experience, and the student´s learning process. In order to answer the mentioned questions, four interviews have been conducted at two different high schools in southern Norrland.

The purpose of this media scientific study is to contribute to a better understanding about how blind people?s empowerment and participation may affect their role in the digital society.Earlier international studies in this area have shown that blind people not only need more knowledge then the seeing population about the computer, but also about the technology behind their tools for using Internet. The results from these studies have also shown that Internet increases the blind people?s independents and that those who use Internet feel more involved in the society.A qualitative method was chosen to study the three most common categories from the earlier studies: knowledge of technology, empowerment and participation. Are there differences in the results compared to our study in Sweden 2014?Interviews with eight blind, experienced computer users have shown that knowledge of technology is essential for their use of Internet and that the Internet increases their empowerment and their participation.

In this research our goal is to conclude the aspects of interactivity which can
prove to be important during the creation of a website. The focus in this essay
is websites functioning as travelingguides, because we live in a time of
traveling, experiance and learning.
How can an analyzing method of websites be shaped? What can an analyze of
interactivity on current travelingguides provide for recommendations by the
creation of interactive travelingguides? The analyzingmethod is based on three
shapingmethods and a poll that was answered by both national and international
people. The analyze gave us quite clear results, if you follow the basics of
Use Case, Personas, Usability and design, the website will have a bigger chanse
of attracting people than if it doesn't..
Hur söker noviser information? En studie av noviser tillvägagångssätt vid informationssökning.
The purpose of this thesis is to examine how novices set about when they search for information. Marchionini's information-seeking model is the theoretical starting point, which is supplemented by theories of other specialists within the field, such as Chowdhury; Harter; Large, Tedd and Hartley. As method a questionnaire survey was used. The questionnaire was sent to 96 students at IHM Business School in Gothenburg and 57 questionnaires were returned. The results show among other things that the majority of the students used highly interactive search strategies, and they did not plan their search before they carried out the search.

Sammanfattning
Idag finns många interaktiva tjänster, till exempel publika webbtjänster. Dessa
tjänster väljer användaren själv om han/hon vill använda sig av. Detta betyder
att produkten bör vara enkel och behaglig att använda, annars tappar man
användare och eventuella kunder. Det finns ett flertal teorier och guidelines
för hur man gör en webbplats användbar. I denna rapport har vi valt att
behandla de teorier som rör navigering och informationsstruktur och jämför
dessa med Blekinge Tekniska Högskolas webbplats.

Några psykologiforskare på Umeå Universitet behövde ett spelliknande program som kunde användas vid vetenskapliga tester av användarnas kognitiva funktioner samt träna upp dessa funktioner, Deras grundidé var ett kärnprogram med ett flertal olika tester som kunde tas bort och läggas till efter behov. De valde ut ett redan existerande ?spel? och bad mig skapa två nya versioner av detta ?spel?, en nästan exakt kopia och en 3D version med rörliga primitiver. Målet med detta arbete var att skapa programmet inom 8 veckor..
Multi-Agent-System till brädspel
För att ta reda på hur väl en Multi-Agent-Systems-bot kan stå sig mot andra,
icke-MAS-bottar, så har vi implementerat en bot till brädspelet Arimaa. Botten
är implementerad i C++ och den kan spela mot andra bottar, eller människor,
genom Arimaas officiella hemsida. Syftet har varit att skapa en fullfjädrad bot
som både klarar av att spela korrekt, och att spela bra. För att ta reda på om
MAS är en bra designfilosofi för Arimaa så har vi utmanat ett antal av de
bottar som andra människor skapat och lagt upp på hemsidan. Alla bottarna har
under tiden de legat uppe blivit rankade genom tävlingar och utmaningar och
flera av dessa har tävlat om stora pengar, vilket betyder att människor har
lagt mycket tid på dem.

The majority of all power cuts that affects individuals and communities are caused by earth faults on the power transmission lines at 10kV and 20kV level [1]. If these power cuts could be eliminated, less disturbances and interrupts would lead to large amounts of money savings.Swedish Neutral has developed such a protection system. When an earth fault occurs power is injected into the neutral point of the transformer. The RCC (Residual Current Compensation) protection calculates a compensation current exactly 180 degrees out of phase to the fault current. Doing this, the voltage at the fault location becomes very close to zero, without affecting the power transmission.The protection system can only compensate automatically for the fundamental frequency (50Hz), and manually for the 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th harmonics.

The customers, mainly bank offices, have expressed a need for a more comprehensive description of errors occurring from time to time in their machines. In order to acquire a BSc-degree in Computer and Electronics Technology at the University of Linköping I have carried out a diploma work, regarding new computer programs to fulfil the customers? wishes. The machine NMD 100 is connected to its PC through handshaking.
Att lösa sudoku med SAT-lösare
Yahtzee is a popular dice game around the world. The complexity makes the game interesting to play and analyze. This report compares the effectiveness of the mathematically optimal strategy with a strategy that can be used for casual play. The rules used are those of the Nordic variant Yatzy, in which a few but important rules are different from the American Yahtzee. To evaluate the everyday strategy 100,000 games was simulated in a java program written specifically for this purpose.

Whether we are engaging in conversation with a friend or are navigating in traffic, we are likely to be found with some technological device in our hands. This dependence has grown over a period of time, and many of us have failed to reflect on the impact technology has had on our lives. The emergence of so-called One-to-One projects, where teachers and students gain access to a personal laptop, does however provide an excellent opportunity to do so.
Två olika tårsubstituts påverkan av synkvaliteten
Tårsubstitut används mycket bland linsbärare och personer med torra ögon. Detär vanligt nuförtiden att arbete i kontorsmiljö och vid datorer ger problem medtorra ögon, Computer vision syndrome (CVS), och att dessa personer dåanvänder tårsubstitut. Ofta står det i tårsubstitutens bipacksedel att de kan geproblem med dimsyn en stund efter applicering.Tidigare studier har visat att aberrationerna i ögat ökar vid applicering avtårsubstitut och möjligtvis är det anledningen till att dimsynen uppkommer.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att ta reda på hur mycket synkvaliteten påverkas avtvå olika tårsubstitut och hur lång tid den påverkas.Metod: Metoden innebar att närvisus och aberrationer mättes på 30 patienter (60ögon) först utan tårsubstitut. Sedan applicerades det första tårsubstitutet(Systane) i höger öga och ytterligare en mätning av närvisus och aberrationerutfördes. Därefter gjordes ytterligare 5 mätningar av aberrationerna, en var fjärdeminut.
Analys och kontroll av hållfasthet på grenställsarm
The thesis was done in collaboration with EAB situated in Smålandsstenar. In the initial discussion faze on doing a thesis with them there was a need to analyze and ensure the strength of an existing product, cantilever racks. This included performing FEM calculations on a model and comparing the results with physical tests.EAB has two models of cantilever racks, a light duty and a heavy duty. Within the heavy duty model series there are five product variants that differ in both size and load capacity. We will be working with the product variant with a load capacity of 1000 kg/arm which is the variant that is in the middle of the series.When we started work on the thesis we did a literature study and couldn?t find any well defined methodology that integrates both product development and computer aided design analysis.

This study is about how videogamecompanies and Swedish newspapers represent masculinity and femininity in the covers of the games Assassins Creed 3, Grand Theft Auto 5, Bayonetta and Tomb Raider along with the reviews being done in conjunction with the game. The reviews has been published in the following newspapers: Aftonbladet, Svenska Dagbladet, Expressen and Göteborgsposten. The image that is formed in our society about how a man and a woman should be and behave will be the basics of this study. The covers of the games often represent what the game itself is about and what it contains and the reviews also conveys what the consumer who buys the game gets. The video game industry has grown in recent years to become one of the largest entertainmentindustries, but despite this, there has not been many studies on how this media represents masculinity and femininity.
Soft Softer Sopho : Utformning av ett användbart användargränssnitt för mjukvarutelefoner
Internet is the future and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is growing in use. Companies are starting to realise the benefits with VoIP. Skype is the number one soft phone on the market but it doesn't satisfy the needs of companies (e.g. transfer calls, redirects calls and so forth) and leaves therefore a gap. The purpose of this master thesis is to provide Objektor AB (thesis initiator) with tips on how to design a usable soft phone that they know is based on relevant human computer interaction research.The method used in the thesis has been iterative development.
