Abstract In the contemporary world of information technology you find a multitude of applications and systems covering a broad spectrum of areas of need in different companies. One effect of this multitude of programs is the difficulty to make them exchange information with each other or to collaborate, since they are developed by different programming languages for different platforms, with different standards and different data formats. Our aim with this work is to describe how it is possible to tie these programs together to make them actually communicate with each other in order to exchange information, share their native methods and also to become a part of the overall business processes. In this integration task you will, among other things, find different levels of application integration such as data level, method level, application interface level and user interface level integration. Application integration also involves hardware components, called middleware, that facilitate the physical connection between applications.

This essay examines migration paths through Sweden. There has been a debate in August 2010 that Sweden is regarded as a backdoor for non European immigrants to come over Denmark. It has been discovered through Denmark?s statistics and is regarded as negative by the Danish government. Denmark and Sweden are two countries that are socio- , economically- and culturally similar, but went in two different directions, especially with immigration policy.

SammanfattningI denna uppsats har vi använt oss av en kvalitativ metod. Data har samlats in genom intervjuer som har behandlat aspekter inom området integration. I dessa intervjuer har vi använt en semistrukturerad intervjuguide. Vi valde fyra personer (två män och två kvinnor) med invandrarbakgrund som vistats i Sverige under minst femton år. Syftet var att ta reda på vilka sociala processer som ligger bakom de faktorer som kan påskynda eller förhindra integration.

This thesis aims to investigate whether the parties Danish People?s Party, the Progress Party, the Finns Party and the Sweden Democrats can be categorized within the same party family, based upon the parties positions regarding the EU and European integration. The thesis contributes to increased knowledge and deeper understanding about these parties stances toward the EU and European integration, with a particular focus on how euroscepticism is expressed within each party. The thesis addresses the following research questions: which category of euroenthusiast, europragmatist, eurosceptic and euroreject best describes each of the four parties? Do the parties fall within the same category, or are they dispersed across different categories? The categories are based on different conceptualizations of euroscepticism (Kopeck? & Mudde, 2002), which composes the theoretical framework along with an analytical scheme based on the different conceptualizations.

Hälsovalsenheter är idag beroende av en fungerande IT-infrastruktur för att kunna fullfölja sina arbetsuppgifter på ett professionellt och effektivt sätt. Störningar i drift och tillgänglighet av information kan skada patienter och verksamheten. Socialstyrelsens föreskrifter SOSFS 2008:14 förpliktigar privata vårdgivare, däribland hälsovalsenheter att arbeta aktivt med informationssäkerhet och att etablera en informationssäkerhetspolicy. Problematiken som ansvariga för detta arbete kan stöta på är många, bland annat att bristfällig utbildning eller avsatta resurser. En informationssäkerhetspolicy kan referera till olika dokument som berör informationssäkerheten.

This is a case study about the effects that disasters have on social work. The case in question is the fire in Berga village, Kalmar, which took place the 12: th of October 2011. The aim of this study is to describe the ways in which Kalmar worked crime preventive towards young people before the fire and after. The study also aims to specify if, and how the disaster affected the crime preventive work with young people. In this study we define the fire like a disaster and disaster has the ability to create changes in policy.

The study uses an abductive approach and the data used was both from primary and secondary sources.Conclusion:     The result of the study shows that the integration process is influenced by several factors. The most important factors from the acquirer are to have a time schedule, clear communication and a person in charge of the integration process.

Integration av system har varit ett aktuellt område under de senaste åren. Det har då främst handlat om integration av system internt på företag. En av anledningarna till det stora intresset av web services är möjligheterna att integrera olika system, exempelvis stordatorbaserade och Windowesbaserade system med varandra. Web services handlar om att kunna integrera system, både internt på ett företag och externa mellan olika företags olika typer av system. Allt detta görs via Internet och bygger på att man utgår i från standards när man bygger web services.

RES-direktivet antogs av EU under 2009 i syfte att öka Europas totala andel förnybar energi till 20 procent. Sverige tilldelades en kvot på 49 procent och regeringen valde att höja målet till 50 procent. Vid ökad användning av förnybar energi kan målkonflikter uppstå. De förnybara resurserna kan exempelvis användas i andra syften vilket skapar konkurrens. Energiomställningen beskrivs som en intstitutionell utmaning som kräver politisk vilja och svåra avvägningar.

Vid ett företagsförvärv måste båda företagets anställda integreras, så att respektive expertkunskap kommer båda företagen tillgodo. Frågor rörande hur anställda ska integreras blir dock ofta förbisedda under de förhandlingar som föregår uppköpet. I den här uppsatsen har vi studerat hur företag verksamma inom IT- och telekombranschen hanterar företagsförvärv och integration av det uppköpta företagets anställda, samt om organisationskulturen påverkar integrationsprocessen. Utifrån ett organisatoriskt perspektiv beskrivs vilka skillnader och likheter som kan identifieras i integrationsprocessen vid förvärv inom IT- och telekombranschen. Dessa skillnader ställs dels mot befintliga teorier, som fokuserar på tillverkande företag, och dels mot fallföretagens sätt att hantera integrationsprocessen.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka hur invandrarföreningar arbetar med integration samtidigt som de vill motverka splittringar inom den egna folkgruppen. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer har jag varit i kontakt med tre föreningar vars ordföranden jag intervjuat. Därefter har intervjuerna analyserats genom metoden grundad teori. Vidare har jag med hjälp av studiens teoretiska utgångspunkter: Socialt kapital, etnicitet och kultur samt integration tolkat materialet och satt det i bredare sammanhang vilket har bidragit till en analys. Den övergripande slutsatsen är att föreningarna har en väldigt central och betydande roll i människors liv.

Mångfald och mångkulturella förhållanden nämns av Integrationsverket som viktiga inslag i det svenska samhället och man arbetar därför inom verket för att motverka etnisk diskriminering och rasism. Enligt Integrationsverket handlar frågan om etnisk mångfald ytterst om samhällets förmåga att leva upp till principen om allas lika värde oavsett etnisk, kulturell eller religiös bakgrund. Integrationsverket har en avgörande roll för integrationen i Sverige och centralt i verkets arbete är den etniska mångfalden och integrationen av utlandsfödda invånare. Nya invånare, som beviljats uppehållstillstånd, tilldelas av Integrationsverket en bok, ?Sverige ? en pocketguide?, med syfte att underlätta den första tiden i Sverige.

Integration policies have failed to make diversity into anything more than occupying the same physical space. People of different cultural background still do not share their lives to any real extent. Attempts made within planning and landscape architecture to catalyst the integration process have mainly been focused on structural measures, such as residential policies. As for outdoor environments, non-verbal casual encounters in the shape of crossing paths are assumed to lie at the heart of urban social integration.The aim of the thesis is to question this assumption and, as the thesis will show, there is literature supporting this aim. Looking at the works of Gordon Allport, Lewis Coser and some of their followers, I find intercultural contact to require more complex ways of interaction in order to reduce prejudice and to generate tolerance and understanding.

Denna uppsats handlar om integrationen mellan matematik och byggteori på byggprogrammet på Rönninge gymnasium. Den tar upp tidigare forskning och aktuella utredningar som fastslår att yrkesräkning och infärgning av matematik i praktiska gymnasieprogram gör att eleverna lär sig mycket bättre. Undersökningen är endast gjord på Rönninge gymnasium och är därför specifik för den skolan, andra gymnasieskolor som har byggprogrammet kan ha andra upplägg. Fullständig integration mellan matematik och byggteori finns inte idag på Rönninge gymnasium, men visst samarbete förekommer i några byggkurser. Det jag vill visa på är att integration mellan kärnämnet matematik och karaktärsämnet byggteori är fullt möjligt, men att det som saknas är kurslitteratur som knyter samman de båda. I dagsläget är det upp till varje enskild gymnasieskola och varje enskild lärare att se till att infärgning av matematik i byggteorin genomförs.
