The master thesis ?Mechanical Integration of an IR-detector in a Micro Cooler? has beenperformed at FLIR Systems AB in Danderyd. FLIR Systems is a world leader in the design,manufacture and marketing of thermal imaging camera systems.The thesis project is divided into to two areas, Production Method and Noise.The Production Method concerns the positioning of a detector on the cold finger within the IRcamera.The detector has to be positiond with very high accuracy at the center of the cold finger,so it can be placed in line with the optical axis to avoid movement of the picture during zooming.The positioning of the detector is at present done with the help of specially designed guides on aplate on top of the cold finger. The design workes well but the special machining needed for thisplate is very expensive.The goal concerning the production method was to derive a new more cost effective method forthe assembling and positioning of the detector on the cold finger by replacing the guides on theplate with a reusable equipment or some other alignement operation.Several concept ideas have been generated with the help of concept generation methods in theform of concept classification trees and concept combinational tables. Two of these conceptswere selected to be further refined.

In this essay, I make a queer feminist analysis of Mats Strandberg?s and Sara Bergmark Elfgren?s teenage novel ?Cirkeln?, which is about six teenage girls who learn that they are witches with a mission to save the world from demons. Using Judith Butler's theories, I examine the norms of sex/gender, ethnicity, class and sexuality found in the text and how these standards are created. I also analyze whether, and if so how, these standards may change when the magical elements enter the text.I also discuss the fact that older Gothic novels with magical elements often have been regarded as queer through history. .

LÀrande bygger pÄ en process baserad pÄ erfarenheter, dÀr kunskap utvecklas nÀr nya situationer upplevs. FörvÀrv har lÀnge varit ett vanligt, men ocksÄ problematiskt, expansionssÀtt. Forskning visar att antalet lyckade förvÀrv inte ökat nÀmnvÀrt trots att erfarenheten i omrÄdet blivit större. Den hÀr uppsatsen behandlar hur integrationsstrategierna ser ut i ett kraftigt expanderande friskvÄrdsföretag, samt hur de skiljer sig Ät mellan lÀnderna Sverige och Tyskland. DÀrefter undersöks hur lÀrande anvÀnds i företaget samt om och hur det pÄverkar integrationsstrategierna.

Arbetet pÄ fartygsbryggor bestÄr till en stor del av kontrolluppgifter. Operatörerna, bryggteamet, har dÀrför kontroll-  och alarmsystem till förfogande. Samspelet mellan mÀnniska och system beror delvis pÄ anvÀndarens kunskaper och erfarenheter och delvis pÄ bryggdesign och teknikens anvÀndarvÀnlighet. Arbetets Àmne Àr hanteringen av alarm och alarmsystem pÄ fartygsbryggor.  Syftet  var att  undersöka om det finns strategier för detta och i sÄ fall att belysa hur dessa strategier ser ut. DÀrför undersöktes sju styrmÀns erfarenheter med kvalitativa metoder, med halvstrukturerade intervjuer och med innehÄllsanalys.

VÄrt syfte med det hÀr examensarbetet var att se hur lÀrare arbetar nÀr de har tillgÄng till ett naturreservat som ligger i nÀrheten till skolan. Vi ansÄg det nödvÀndigt att i en litteraturstudie redogöra för vad utomhuspedagogik Àr och Àven göra en beskrivande del av naturreservatet, KÀrna Mosse.Utomhuspedagogiken Àr inget nytt begrepp utan har en gedigen historia bakom sig med namn som Jean-Jaques Rousseau, Ellen Key och John Dewey. FMT, finns möjlighet att locka fram spontana handlingar som leder till ökad helhetsutveckling hos individen.Under min utbildning till FMT-terapeut vid Musikhögskolan Ingesund i Arvika, som tillhör Karlstads universitet, har jag haft praktik med tvÄ barn med diagnosen autism och intellektuell funktionsnedsÀttning.

European cities of today are under the challenge to find ways to stay competitive and flourish in a rapidly changing world, where the old patterns of centrality and periphery not necessarily holds true. New and improved communication networks, a changed political geography in Europe, and the globalisation of not only the financial and industrial markets but also to a certain extent the globalisation of people, have all led to great challenges for cities and regions.In a changed spatial reality the classic monocentric models are challenged by newer models of urbanisation. The polycentric urban region is one such model which has been used to describe urban regions like the Randstad in the Netherlands and the Rhein-Ruhr region in Germany. Regions which lack the single dominant central city of the monocentric models of old, and instead shows a high degree of more equal-sized and sometimes more specialised cities in regional cooperation. The polycentric urban region is in that aspect a possible model for how other urbanised regions in Europe may act to be able to position themselves as attractive urban regions and regional hubs in the European urban network.Polycentric urban regions are not a universal solution, though.

This master thesis is a study on how a rategyro triad, an accelerometer triad, and a magnetometer triad can be integrated into a navigation system, estimating a vehicle?s attitude, i.e. its roll, tipp, and heading angles. When only a rategyro triad is used to estimate a vehicle?s attitude, a drift in the attitude occurs due to sensor errors.

Syftet med denna studie Àr att undersöka hur tvÄ skolor integrerar barn som nyss kommit till Sverige. Vi gjorde en kvalitativ intervjustudie, dÀr tvÄ skolor besöktes. PÄ bÄda skolorna intervjuades en rektor och en pedagog. Dessa tvÄ skolor valdes ut pÄ grund av deras mÄngfald av invandrarbarn. Den ena skolan har ett större antal barn med annan kultur Àn den andra skolan som har mesta dels svenska barn.

AbstractAs a result of globalisation, there are indications that national cultural differences between countries are becoming increasingly vague. Research shows that industries develop similarities, as a result of the integration between corporations that has followed the internationalisation. The aim of this study was thus to investigate whether different countries in the same industry can develop similar perceptions regarding what is considered effective leadership. The study also aimed to investigate whether these perceptions can influence how leadership is exercised. The leader qualities that were identified were categorised based on the leadership attributes that were formulated in Project GLOBE.

The house of one of the most prominent Swedish artists of the 20th century, Bror Hjorth (1894-1968), was turned into an artists-museum and opened to the public in 1978.
