This final thesis consists of an investigation of how suitable it is to vertically integrate forest in Swedish forest companies. Different strategies to obtain raw materials have been evaluated and the advantages and disadvantages have been weighted against each other. The investigations contain a number of interviews with represents from companies with different strategies and persons that in different ways have faced the question of issue. An account study of SCAÂŽs forest ownership has also been performed. The benefits for a forest company to vertical integrate forest consist mainly of safety in delivery, control over the supply chain and company image.

The role of Islam in integrative work in Swedish societyThe main purpose of this report was to describe the role of Islam in integrative work in Swedish society. Questions connected to the purpose were: Is Islam a possibility or an obstacle to integration? Which arguments are used to describe Islam as a possibility or an obstacle? How are the different views on Islam expressed in integrative work? Which are the consequenses of such views?A qualitative method with an empirical research and a thematic analysis has been applied to the material. The empirical research consists of interviews.The results of this report describe Islam neither as a possibility nor as an obstacle from a political view. By muslims and researchers Islam can be regarded both as a possibility and as an obstacle in integrative work.

This thesis deals with the issues of participation and influence in the multicultural society. The aim with the study is twofold, first to identify determinants improving participation and influence in this context, and second to see if the ecouragement of a strong civil society in ethnic segregated areas is a possible way forward to a multicultural democracy. This is conducted through a case study of brobyggarna in Malmo, Sweden, and how they as an integration policy is working with these questions. Six qualitative interviews have been conducted with seven persons workning as brobyggare or in close connection with them. Toghether with readings of earlier research this material is analysed through an eclectic model with theories put together in five analythic dimensions, Multicultural democracy, Social milieu, Unequal possibillities to participate and influence and Local powerstructures.

Vi kommer i denna rapport undersöka hur ramverket Derby kan anvÀndas inom spelutveckling tillsammans med HTML5 och CSS3. Derby Àr ett MVC-ramverk som bygger pÄ Node.js. MVC (Model View Controller) Àr ettdesignmönster som anvÀnds inom systemutveckling. Designmönstret separerar presentationslagret och datalagret genom att införa en komponent emellan som kallas controllern. Det Derby framförallt tillför till Node.js Àr synkronisering av data mellan servern och klienten.

Social policy has now received an increased attention in the European Union. The European welfare states experience a high level of unemployment, which the EU now tries to handle through the European Employment Strategy (EES). The core of this essay is whether the welfare institutions of the European member states are integrating through an institutionalization process or not. Within the EU four different types of welfare models can be identified: the Scandinavian, the Continental, the Southern and the Anglo-Saxon. The welfare models differ in the institutional settings e.g.

Unaccompanied children that arrives in Sweden are usually placed in homes for care and residence, called HVB. It is the municipality's responsibility to provide adequate care and protection for the children. The aim of the study is to examine how a workgroup on a HVB home for unaccompanied children is working to meet the needs of the children, and how the workgroup improves the children?s integration process. The study also aims to examine the emotional labour of the workgroup, which illustrates how they can manage their own emotional behavior when working with the unaccompanied children.The study is based on a qualitative approach with detailed descriptions of five semi-structured interviews with the workgroup and assistant managers.

Detta Àr en studie om introduktionsverksamheten för nyanlÀnda flyktingar i Lunds kommun, detta utifrÄn flyktingarnas perspektiv. Syftet var vidare att studera vad det betyder om introduktionsverksamheten kan ses som ett system. Med nyanlÀnda flyktingar avses den grupp som erhÄllit uppehÄllstillstÄnd och vars vistelsetid inte överstiger tre Är. Sju stycken nyanlÀnda flyktingar intervjuades om deras intryck och det stöd som erbjudits av introduktionsprogrammet och Lunds kommun. Teorier om introduktion och systemtÀnkande applicerades för att analysera resultatet frÄn intervjuerna.

AbstractCities are once again becoming the locus of economic, social and political processes. The effect of these processes on the city is two-fold: one one hand they threaten to fragment and dislocate the city and the actors within them, on the other hand they give actors within cities new opportunities to react and mobilize resources towards different strategies of integration. The latter gives rise to what Patrick Le GalĂšs calls the collective actor-city. The aim of this thesis is to explore the notion of the city as a collective actor in a swedish context by utilizing Le GalĂšs theory of european cities as collective actors in an abductive case study on the city of Malmoe. By utilizing Le GalĂšs five dimensions that make up a collective actor I analyze interviews conducted with city officals aswell as documents produced from the city wide plan of action Welfare for everybody.

The role of the quality manager has evolved from being a quality controller to work with a more global business. Within many organizations in Sweden, however, the traditional role of the quality manager's remains and the tasks categorized as quality control still takes up most of the quality manager's time. The survey conducted as part of this master thesis shows that the quality manager in most businesses has multiple roles in addition to the role of quality manager, which can create a role conflict. One consequence of this is that each improvement is not given priority due to time constraints. Although the importance of a clear and committed leadership is the key for succeeding as the quality manager.

This study is about different teacher?s ÂŽconception of remedial classes and its function in TodayÂŽs School. ?A school for everyone? the utopia that all schools and teachers aspire for. All pupils, regardless of ethnic background, class, and religious affiliation should be able to go to school without being segregated and are seen as different.

Syftet med denna rapport var att undersöka vilka hinder som fanns dÄ en skola skulle försöka integrera tjugotalet elever i olika Äldrar som inte talar svenska i sin undervisning. Forskningen pÄ detta omrÄde Àr sparsam Àven om Franzén (2001), Wikström (1996) samt Skolverket i sina rapporter (2003, 2005) presenterat teorier om hur vÀgen in i den svenska skolan ser ut. Fyra perspektiv antogs och styrdokument, skolledning, lÀrare och en elev anvÀndes pÄ olika sÀtt för att informera om den pÄgÄende integrationsprocessen. Intervjuer och observationer av skolledning, lÀrare och elev pÄgick under fyra veckor i oktober Är 2006. Det visade sig att svÄrigheterna för eleverna att fÄ en fullgod undervisning, dvs.

I ett samhÀlle med snabb teknikutveckling har ny teknik möjliggjort att man kan bli mer flexibel i sin vardag. NÄgot som ocksÄ blir vanligare Àr att företag anvÀnder olika tekniska hjÀlpmedel för att optimera verksamheten och dÀrigenom kan de bland annat bli effektivare i sitt arbetssÀtt. Studiens syfte var att studera och analysera hur mobila enheter integrerade med ett företags affÀrssystem anvÀnds som stöd i verksamheten och vilka effekter det haft för de som pÄ nÄgot vis kommer i kontakt med fenomenet vare sig det gÀller informationsbehandling eller direkt anvÀndning av den mobila enheten. För att utifrÄn syftet besvara de uppstÀllda frÄgestÀllningarna har vi samlat in empiriskt material genom intervjuer med tre olika företag som helt eller delvis arbetar med service. Genom att kartlÀgga arbets- och informationsflöden har vi kunnat se vilka upplevda effekter företagen haft och om det finns nÄgon nÀmnvÀrd skillnad mellan företagen avseende de upplevda effekterna efter att man integrerat mobila enheter mot företagens affÀrssystem. Studien pÄvisade bland annat effekter sÄ som snabbare informationsbehandling, högre kvalitet pÄ informationen och minskade felkÀllor. Den pÄvisade Àven att företagen i mÄnga fall upplevt liknande effekter men ocksÄ att mer branschspecifika effekter fanns. Det man kan sÀga Àr att de tre företagen gemensamt var vÀldigt nöjda med investeringen och menade att verksamheten blivit mycket mer effektiv pÄ mÄnga plan. Vi hoppas dÀrmed att vi pÄ nÄgot vis har bidragit till att skapa förstÄelse för att en integration mellan ett företags affÀrssystem och mobila enheter skapar vÀrde för ett företag pÄ flera plan..

I denna uppsats görs en diskursanalys av alliansregeringens integrationspolitik avsedd för Ären 2008 till 2010. Syfte Àr att titta pÄ hur integrationspolitiken Àr organiserad, vilka beskrivningar och förestÀllningar som kommer till uttryck kring integration och vilka konsekvenser organiseringen kan fÄ i integrationspolitiken. Den teoretiska och metodologiska utgÄngspunkten Àr diskursteori dÀr fokus ligger pÄ sprÄket och hur förestÀllningar om verkligheten organiseras. I studien pÄvisas hur integrationspolitiken bygger pÄ en förestÀllning om ett homogent och harmoniskt samhÀlle. ?Utanförskap? och ?mÄngfald? upprÀttas som yttre grÀnser för samhÀllet och som hot mot ordningen.

I vÄr undersökning ville vi belysa unga förtagenerations-invandrarkvinnors identitets förÀndring. Dessa unga kvinnor lever under inflytande av tvÄ kulturer dÀr deras identitetstillhörighet till sitt ursprung oftast bestÀms av ett essentialistiskt synsÀtt, vilket innebÀr att den definieras av ett gemensamt ursprung och en speciell kulturtillhörighet. Men kvinnorna i vÄr studie visar att deras identitet egentligen bygger mer pÄ ett konstruktivistiskt synsÀtt dÀr den kulturella identiteten inte bestÀms av en gemensam tillhörighet utan att identiteten förÀndras och omskapas hela tiden beroende pÄ den situation man befinner sig i. Vi har gjort ett urval dÀr vi har valt aktiva och kvinnor som har anstrÀngt sig för att integreras i det svenska samhÀllet och inte valt ?den traditionella hemmafrun?.
