Med en förstÄelse för att fysiska, ekonomiska, biologiska, organisatoriska, sociala, kulturella och estetiska vÀrden mÄste utvecklas parallellt för ett hÄllbart samhÀlle valde jag ÀndÄ att endast lyfta de sociala och kulturella aspekterna i mitt examensarbete för att skapa en bÀttre förstÄelse för dessa frÄgor i planeringsprocessen. Begravningsplatsen Àr ett forum för mÄngkulturalitet i Sverige och en viktig del av vÄr fysiska miljö oavsett trostillhörighet. Syftet med mitt arbete var att undersöka hur framtida begravningsplatser skulle kunna se ut med tanke pÄ att allt fler kulturer och religioner pÄverkar samhÀllsutvecklingen. MÄlet var att mitt examensarbete skulle ge en skildring av dagens begravningskultur men ocksÄ fungera som ett planeringsverktyg vid utformning av framtidens mÄngkulturella begravningsplatser med syftet att verka integrerande för samhÀllet. Arbetet skulle ocksÄ verka som ett bidrag i debatten kring integration.

This thesis focuses on the problems involving immigrants and their voting behaviour in Sweden. We presuppose that immigrants vote in a far less extent than Swedish citizen according to general statistics. We try to explain and give solutions to this problem. To our help we use both integration theory focusing on multiculturalism and electoral participation theories.Starting off in these two theories, we have further analyzed a number of policies issued to solve the participation dilemma. The policies were issued in order to elevate the socio-economic standards, inform citizens and close the distance between voters and politicians.Our results show that what work best is long term ventures aiming at integrating immigrants to the Swedish society.

This essay illustrates the rules and procedures when it comes to inclusive labor markets. In Sweden we have a labor market program called entry-level jobs, which makes it easier for immigrants to get work since our public employment agency pay remuneration to the employers.In this essay I am answering the following questions:How does the work of our public employment agency and trade union looks like before, during and after an employee has gotten a subsidized employment called entry-level job, and in which way can this work be improved if necessary?How extensive do entry-level jobs contribute to increased integration and establishment on the labor market for newly arrived immigrants?How does the Swedish measure on entry-level jobs approach within the scope of European regulations about measures for inclusive labor market?To find answers to my questions I have used social science methodology and juridical method. I have performed document studies and interviews with concerned parts.The conclusion of above subordinated questions is that we need to extend the Swedish laws covering entry-level jobs so that the concerned parts know which assignments they will be responsible for when problems emerge on a workplace.When it comes to if entry-level jobs contribute to increase integration and establishment on the labor market it seems to be more important to integrate the immigrants quickly, and with which quality it is made does not seems to matter. The public employment agency has to emphasize the importance of Swedish language so that the employees can be independent from authorities in the future.

The honour norm is strong within the Middle East but is scattered all over the world. As a result of immigration, the honorary context has become more established in Sweden. Violence, committed in the name of honour, is commonly executed by male family members. Thus, young men are forced, in some degree, to participate in the oppression and control of their sisters. Violence exercised in the name of honour, can be traced back to the patriarchal family system in which woman are subordinate to men.

This report discusses developing a software log tool for analysis of industrial processes. The target was to develop software that can help electro Engineers for monitor and fault finding in industrial processes. The tool is called PLS (Process log server), and is developed in Visual Studio.NET Framework 2005. PLS works as a client with Beijer Electronics OPC Server. The program is able to read data from PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), trough the OPC Server.

The world is changing and the business context is no exception. One of the clearest tendencies is a tougher business climate with harder competition due to increased international trade and the expansion of the e-business. At the same time the customers are becoming more sophisticated and demanding. The last decades have also meant that tougher and more frequent demands are being aimed at the businesses from a wider variety of stakeholders; demands regarding how environmental issues, social responsibilities and business ethics should be dealt with. All of the above have driven companies towards implementation of different management systems to be able to cope with the demands as well as to ensure that these issues are being dealt with in an efficient and effective manner.

MÄlet med uppsatsen Àr att ÄskÄdliggöra vilka fördelar, nackdelar och effekter anvÀndarbaserad systemutveckling har för den administrativa delen av en organisation. Intervjuer har gjorts med en chef och en controller pÄ ett större svenskt företag samt med en expert inom omrÄdet för anvÀndarbaserad systemutveckling. Undersökningen visar att fördelar som ges vid anvÀndande av anvÀndarbaserad systemutveckling Àr t.ex. att organisationen och individen blir mer produktiv, fÄr en mer flexibel miljö att arbeta med och blir mindre beroende av konsulter. Nackdelar har visat sig vara att organisationen kan försÀtta sig i en situation dÀr de blir beroende av den person som har utvecklat ett specifikt system och kvaliteten pÄ underhÄll kan Àven försÀmras nÀr anvÀndarna utvecklar sjÀlva.

AbstractThis report is about the creation of a test system for development of a control system for a off the shelf RC-helicopter, which can be bought for about two thousand SEK. The test system consists of both electronics for controlling the helicopter and mechanical constrainer. The constrainer is used for mounting the helicopter so that it wonÂŽt crash.A circuit board including processor and sensors was manufactured. This was used for doing test of the different control algorithms. In this way were we able to analyze the quality of the sensors chosen, and what other sensors that could contribute to the control of the system.Basic helicopter control have been studied and presented in the report.

AbstractThe aim of this study is to investigate the implementation process and the implementation steering of the social development aspects, gender equality and integration, in the program for regional development of the region Kronoberg in the period of 2004-2007.The study asks three questions: 1) How have the social development aspects, gender equality and integration, been implemented in the program for regional development of the region Kronoberg? 2) What has facilitated or hindered the implementation of the two social development aspects? 3) What possibilities to steer the implementation process of the two social development aspects exist at the governmental and at the regional level?In order to answer these questions a qualitative method has been used. To be able to analyse the empirical material, which consists of documents and interviews, the theoretical framework comprehends the policy process and implementation steering. The conclusion is that the incorporation of the social development aspects in the regional development program does not fully correspond with the central intentions, and that is due to circumstances at the regional level..

The purpose of this study was to gain knowledge and a picture of how foster parents perceive their task, the role of the placed children and their biological parents.  Even how they perceived their family have been affected by the mandates removal. Consistently showed the most positive experiences with strong ties to the children placed. However, there are experiences of the need for additional guidance, support, education and contact with the client to enhance a sense of competence in the task and prevent collapse. Burnout experienced often based in the placed child's difficulties in integration.

Planerare har stor del i att utforma det offentliga rummet i dagens stÀder, och yrkeskÄren Àr lÄngt ifrÄn representativ nÀr det gÀller variation av ursprung och social grupptillhörighet. Det hÀr arbetet behandlar dÀrför involveringen av stadens invÄnare genom medborgardialog. MÄlet med uppsatsen Àr att problematisera tÀnkandet kring medborgardialog och ifrÄgasÀtta planerarens ansvar utifrÄn ett demokratiskt perspektiv. Syftet Àr att uppsatsen skall fungera som ett personligt utvecklande underlag för fortsatt diskussion kring medborgardialog med fokus pÄ exkludering av vissa grupper av mÀnniskor, i det hÀr fallet personer med invandrarbakgrund. Uppsatsens första del Àr inventerande och ligger till grund för de resterande delarna genom att berÀtta om vad regelverk och styrdokument sÀger om medborgardialog. Den andra delen tar upp medborgardialogens kritiska aspekter utifrÄn ett mer generellt synsÀtt.

This thesis studies the negative impact that control signal saturation may have on a controlled system. Different methods that are used to compensate for this problem are also studied and evaluated. Both sensitivity to disturbances and the effect the method has on the systems'ability to follow a reference signal will be examined. Stability will be discussed, but no conclusions whether the systems are stabilized or not can be drawn. Control signal saturation will lead to a slower behavior in general.

The web has evolved much through the years. From being a place where author and reader were clearly distinguished, it now invites everyone to take part in the development of both content and technology. Social services are central in what is called Web 2.0. Wikis, blogs and folksonomies are all examples of how the users and their communities are key to the development of services. Collaborative writing, tags and API:s are central.

Syftet med examensarbetet har varit att genomföra en jÀmförande analys mellan nÄgra religionslÀrares syn pÄ sitt Àmne och dess utformning i Sverige och England - vilket Àr bidrag till forskning om hur lÀrare ser pÄ sitt undervisningsÀmne som Àr ett relativt outforskat fÀlt. Metoden jag har anvÀnt mig av Àr kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer med fyra religionslÀrare, tvÄ i vardera land. FrÄgestÀllningarna berörde syftet med religionsundervisningen, begrepp mÄngkultur och integration, kristendomens roll, upplÀgg av Àmnet och motivet till detta sÄvÀl skillnader och likheter mellan de svenska och de engelska lÀrarna synsÀtt. Resultatet utifrÄn syftet och frÄgestÀllningarna var att lÀrarna ansÄg att förstÄelse och andlig utveckling Àr de frÀmsta syftena med Àmnet, dÀr den andliga utvecklingen Àr mer framtrÀdande hos de engelska lÀrarna. LÀrarna ansÄg att Àmnet hade en betydande roll att spela i frÄga om integration och det mÄngkulturella samhÀllet.

Problem: Ekonomer i IT-projekt Àr ett vÀldigt outforskat omrÄde. FrÄgan Àr om ekonomens kompetens utnyttjas och dras nytta av i projekten. Vi vill se vad ekonomen kan ha för roll i IT-projekt och om de kan tillföra nÄgot för att förbÀttra projekten. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen Àr att föreslÄ roller och arbetsuppgifter som kan passa en ekonom i IT-projekt. Metod: För att kunna nÄ vÄrt syfte har vi anvÀnt oss av kvalitativ metod.
