This essay is about integration of theoretical subjects and practical subjects at the vocational training education in a Swedish Upper secondary school. The purpose of the essay was to examine if integration of the subjects increases the students` motivation for, interest in and knowledge of the subject Swedish. Other purposes were to examine how the teachers organize their teaching of Swedish in order to adjust it to the students? interests and to examine the students? attitude towards Swedish as a subject.The essay also describes the recent development of the vocational training education of Swedish Upper secondary school and presents theories about learning and other examinations about teaching of theoretical subjects at the vocational training education.The examination carried through with a questionnaire which was distributed to the students at three programs at the school and interviews with the headmaster and two teachers. The result of the study showed that a small majority of the students believe that integration increases their motivation in and knowledge of Swedish.

Att en organisation fattar beslut om överordnade mÄl och strategier innebÀr i sig inte nÄgot organisatoriskt lÀrande. För att möjliggöra en integration av uppstÀllda mÄl och strategier sÄ att dessa genomsyrar organisationen behöver det ske en process - ett organisatoriskt lÀrande. Vi har i denna uppsats studerat hur denna process gÄr till i organisationen Lunds universitet, nÀr det gÀller integration av mÄl och strategier rörande ledarskap och hur universitetet i denna process tillvaratar individuell kunskap och kompetens sÄ att organisationen fÄr en högre kompetens och dÀrmed en ökad möjlighet att nÄ uppstÀllda mÄl. Vi har utgÄtt frÄn litteratur kring organisatoriskt lÀrande, dÀr vi gjort en sammanstÀllning av de teorier och den forskning som vi anser har relevans för vÄr frÄgestÀllning. Ur dessa har vi tagit fram följande kriterier för organisatoriskt lÀrande: kommunikation, tillgÀngliggörande, reflektion och samsyn och integration.

In today?s Europe, migration has become a security issue rather than a humanitarian issue. Previous research highlights how migrants have become prisoners of bureaucracy in Europe by their mobility being hindered. The present study critically analyses the migration governance in Europe by highlighting labour market integration in Sweden. The study highlights migrants with a specific focus on foreign-born women. The research questions chosen to examine this phenomenon is: How does migration governance in Europe affect member states' policies for labour market integration, with a particular focus on Sweden? How do foreign-born women in Sweden experience labour market integration processes within the framework of the governance mechanisms that exist in Europe? Foucault?s theory of power and the theoretical concept of choking composes a theoretical framework which is used to analyse focus group data and text analysis data.

I uppsatsen undersöks hur integration av invandrare i de areella nÀringarna (vÀxtodling, djurhÄllning och skogsskötsel) och pÄ landsbygden kan underlÀttas, med fokus pÄ VÀstra Götalands lÀn. Det sker dels genom en litteraturstudie i Àmnet, dels genom att beskriva erfarenheter av nÄgra projekt inom grön integration som genomförts i VÀstra Götaland, finansierat av landsbygdsprogrammet 2007-2013. Flyktingar med olika bakgrund intervjuas ocksÄ om sin syn pÄ landsbygden och intresse av att bo pÄ landsbygden och arbeta inom de gröna nÀringarna. Litteraturstudien tÀcker olika aspekter pÄ integration, sÄsom integration pÄ landsbygden jÀmfört med i stÀderna, kommuners och myndigheters roll, möjligheter för invandrare att etablera sig som företagare inom de gröna nÀringarna, och nischer inom de gröna nÀringarna som kan vara lÀmpliga/möjliga för invandrare att etablera sig inom. Invandrare i Sverige bor i hög utstrÀckning i stÀder. Svensk landsbygd domineras av etniska svenskar och Äldersstrukturen pÄ landsbygden Àr ogynnsam för de gröna nÀringarna. För att utvecklas behöver landsbygden attrahera unga mÀnniskor, entreprenörer och barnfamiljer. Invandrare Àr entreprenörer i högre utstrÀckning Àn etniska svenskar, och det finns mÄnga invandrade barnfamiljer som vill bo och arbeta pÄ landsbygden.

The aim of this paper is to study how multiculturalism is expressed in the Swedish labour market policy. The method used for the investigation is a discourse analysis which study social and political processes in the society as created through language. The perspective of the discourse analysis is a social construction that considers that language is a social production created in a discursive way. It produces and reflects social process in the language.By using theories of national identity and multiculturalism we aim to investigate how multiculturalism is expressed in the labour market policy. With this method we aim to analyze the discourse of a political report made 2008 by the current government about integration strategies in Sweden.

Recently I discovered that preschool education has evolved from integration of various subject contents and working methods. The purpose of my study is to investigate preschool teachers' attitudes and ways of working with a theme-oriented approach. I also want to examine their opinions regarding the integration of subject content in terms of mathematics and science subjects (NO) in preschools theme-oriented work approach.My questions for this study are:What is a preschool teacher's attitude and their ways of working to a thematic-oriented approach?What is a preschool teacher's opinions regarding the integration of subject content, especially in mathematics and science subjects (NO) in their pre-schools theme-oriented work approach?I have used myself a qualitative method of investigation to produce materials for my research project. I collected my empirical material for my study from the semi-structured interviews that was done with four preschool teachers in two preschools in Botkyrka municipality.

Research and innovation are areas that have been evolving quickly during recent years. However, it has been difficult for individual countries to make progress on their own. To solve this problem the European union have launched the most expensive research and innovation program to this day. By combining national governments throughout Europe, the EU wants to create cutting edge technology that will strenghten the region and make the union able to compete on a worldwide stage. However, trying to combine national governments has not been easy, the programs struggle with byrocracy and member states of the European union are tentative about supranational institutions. By engaging in the program national governments have been afraid of how this will affect their sovereignty.

The aim of this M.A.-thesis in social work is to problematize the assimilatoric concept of integration and its discourses in a postcolonial perspective in relation to social work in Denmark.As a support theory I use symbolic interactionism. By using these theories I show how the concept of integration and its discourses, when its aim is assimilatoric, can be understood and problematized with concepts as binary oppositions and hegemony.It is shown that the construction of the discoursive other is a useful term as an instrument of interpretation of power in general. The relevance to social work in relation to the social workers double powered positions, professional and cultural power to define 'the other', in social work with ethnic minorities is shown in relation to the post colonial perspective with support of symbolic interactionism. The white western world hegemony and the social workers power positions in relation to the clients fits to the theoretic frame chosen in the thesis.A second aim in this thesis is to point to new ways for social work and to the necessity to reflect over a globalized world characterized by international migration, ethnic relations and diversity..

De svenska stÀderna har fÄtt en mer komplex och rikare sammansÀttning av befolkningsgrupper nÀr det kommer till bÄde levnadssÀtt och familjeförhÄllanden. De socioekonomiska klyftorna har blivit allt tydligare och bostadssegregationen har under de senaste decennierna vÀxt fram i de svenska stÀderna. Det finns mÄnga förestÀllningar om hur man planerar den goda staden och vilka komponenter som behövs för att skapa en stad dÀr alla Àr jÀmlika. I detta kandidatarbete undersöks hur den fysiska utformningen pÄverkar stÀders boendemönster och omrÄdet MöllevÄngen i Malmö studeras som fallstudie..

Kommunerna kan sedan början av 1990-talet vÀlja mellan att erbjuda nyanlÀnda flyktingarsocialbidrag eller introduktionsersÀttning. Den sistnÀmnda ersÀttningen infördes med ambitionenatt den ska öka förutsÀttningarna för flyktingar att snabbt bli sjÀlvförsörjande. Med hjÀlp av enlinjÀr sannolikhetsmodell skattas effekten av introduktionsersÀttningen pÄ utfallsvariabler somkan förknippas med integration i allmÀnhet och möjligheter att pÄ sikt bli sjÀlvförsörjande isynnerhet. Resultaten visar att deltagandet i sfi-undervisningen ökar bland flyktingar som bosattsig i kommuner som erbjuder de nyanlÀnda introduktionsersÀttning. NÀr beroendevariabler somförvÀrvsarbete pÄ kort och lÀngre sikt studeras ger dock resultaten inget stöd för attintroduktionsersÀttningen har en positiv pÄverkan pÄ flyktingarnas försörjningsmöjligheter..

This study attempts to examine the existence and development of price differences in the car sector in Europe. The time period is between 1995, the year of the Swedish entrance in the European Union, and 2003. The study is based on data supplied by the European commission, on a bi-annual basis. Both price differences in general in the EU, and price differences between Sweden and other countries in the EU are examined. The theoretical law of one price is related to the economic integration of the EU and the car sector.

The aim of this study has been to investigate the significance of the newly started project Vimmerbymodellen for unaccompanied young refugees. This regarding to how the unaccompanied young refugees are participating in creating networks and meeting points in the local community. Vimmerbymodellen is described as an integration project where the nonprofit sector collaborates with the municipality. The empirical material has been collected through semi-structured qualitative interviews where five unaccompanied young refugees and four involved adults have been interviewed. The empirical material from these interviews has thereafter been analyzed through the concept of social capital, identity and empowerment.The main result of this study shows that participation in the project is expected to contribute to the creation of networks and meeting points which has significance for unaccompanied young refugees.

Genom kontakt med studie och yrkesvÀgledare inom gymnasiesÀrskolan blev vi uppmÀrksammade pÄ att de uppfattade arbetsmarknaden för gymnasiesÀrskolans elever som problematisk. Detta ledde till att vi ville undersöka hur andra aktörer i nÀtverket kring eleverna uppfattade utslussningen av eleverna till arbetslivet. Syftet med studien var att undersöka nÀtverkets resurser kring utslussning av gymnasiesÀrskolans elever till/i arbetslivet. Vidare syftade studien till att undersöka hur nÀtverket kan bidra till ökad integration mellan elev/elever och arbetsmarknaden. Genom detta ville vi framhÀva elevernas möjligheter till ett aktivt arbetsliv. Resultatet torde kunna anvÀndas som ett underlag i utvecklandet av samarbetet mellan involverade aktörer. UtifrÄn 5 kvalitativa intervjuer kunde respektive aktörrepresentanterna uppfattning utskiljas och ett resultat formades.

FöretagsförvÀrv Àr en vanligt förkommande strategi för tillvÀxt och verksamhetsutveckling. Hur den förvÀrvande parten hanterar sjÀlva integrationsprocessen av den uppköpta verksamheten Àr av avgörande betydelse för möjligheten att realisera önskade samordningseffekter. Integrationsprocessens framgÄng Àr i sin tur beroende av de anstÀlldas upplevda vÀlmÄende och belastning under processen. Syftet med undersökningen Àr att studera hur hÄrda integrationsansatser pÄverkar de anstÀlldas upplevda vÀlmÄende och belastning i samband med ett företagsförvÀrv. Undersökningen studerar ocksÄ huruvida det existerar samband mellan anstÀlldas upplevda vÀlmÄende och deras arbetsbelastning, samt hur upplevelserna skiljer sig Ät mellan olika faser i integrationsprocessen.

Denna studie undersöker bemanningsanstÀlldas integration inom lagerverksamhet. Tyngdpunkten ligger pÄ att öka kunskapen kring vilka faktorer som pÄverkar hur bemanningsanstÀllda integreras i tjÀnsteköpande företag samt fördjupa förstÄelsen för vilka möjligheter dessa företag har att öka integrationen pÄ ett kostnadseffektivt sÀtt. Studien nÀrmar sig problemomrÄdet genom att undersöka hur bemanningsanstÀllda inom lagersektorn upplever de faktorer som pÄverkat integrationen samt deras Äsikter om dessa faktorer. Studiens teoretiska referensram baseras pÄ teorier kring organisering, HRM samt sociala och legala begrÀnsningar. Det empiriska materialet baseras pÄ kvalitativa intervjuer.
