Bakgrund och problem: Som ett steg i konvergeringsprocessen med FASB startade IASB år2006 ett projekt med syfte att skapa en enhetlig standard för värdering till verkligt värde i helaIFRS. I den inledande fasen av projektet utformades ett discussion paper, där denamerikanska motsvarigheten för värdering till verkligt värde, SFAS 157, användes somutgångspunkt. En av de standarder som i hög grad innefattar värdering till verkligt värde ochsåledes berörs i stor utsträckning av projektet är IAS 39, redovisning och värdering avfinansiella instrument. Värdering av finansiella instrument är ett komplext och vidaomdebatterat område vilket har uppmärksammats speciellt under finanskrisen då mycketkritik har riktats mot SFAS 157. Definitionerna av verkligt värde skiljer sig i dagsläget mellanSFAS 157 och IAS 39 och organisationer runt om i världen har ställt sig kritiska till en direkttillämpning av den amerikanska definitionen eftersom den anses vara för marknadsbaserad.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att beskriva hur den praktiska redovisningen enligt IAS 39 kantänkas påverkas om IASB inför värderingsmetoderna i SFAS 157, samt beskriva vilkauppfattningar sakkunniga har kring dagens sätt att värdera till verkligt värde samt hur dessastämmer överens med definitionen och värderingsmetoderna i IAS 39 och SFAS 157.Metod: En kvalitativ undersökningsmetod har använts där fem intervjuer har utförts för attsamla in studiens empiriska material.

This study analyzes 66 Swedish actively managed mutual funds investing in the Swedish stock market during the period 2005-2014. The purpose is through pooled data regressions analyze the relationship between both the mutual fund?s annual fee and risk-adjusted return to the fund?s characteristics. The characteristics of the study are the size of the fund's assets, age, if the fund is bank managed or not, Tracking Error, and standard deviation of return.By using the performance measures of CAPM, Fama and French 3-factor model, and Carhart?s 4-factor model monthly risk-adjusted returns are created for all funds over the period.

Our purpose of this paper is to seek an understanding of which service quality factors that affects customers in their decision making progress regarding purchasing financial services such as pension products. We also seek to evaluate the different service quality factors by compare their relative strength against each other. The study aim to investigate if there are any connections between customer behavior variables such as gender, age and income in comparison to these service quality factors related to pension products.The findings aim to help a small financial institute such as our case company Plain Capital to understand how their customers experience service quality regarding pension products.In order to find empirical results we conducted a qualitative research as well a quantitative research. The qualitative research employed both a focus group interview with pension savers and an interview with our case company Plain Capital. We were able to identify the service quality factors for pension?s products with help from the focus group interview.

Background and problemThe Student union and Länsförsäkringar in Jönköping has an agreement that provides students at Jönköping university with subsidized insurances. The fact that none of the mentioned parties knows what the insurance market at Jönköping university actually looks like makes this an interesting field to study. This thesis will aim to provide the parties with a map of this insurance market and increased knowledge about how students think and behave regarding insurences.PurposeThe overall purpose of this thesis is to increase the knowlegde about students? buying behavior regarding insurences. We will also investigate if there are uninsured students at Jönköping university and quantify that amount.

I denna studie ställs följande frågor; hur resonerar lärare kring valet av terminologi i sin sångundervisning, hur uppfattar elever sina lärares instruktioner samt huruvida styrdokumenten påverkar lärarens val av terminologi? Syftet är att undersöka hur sånglärares terminologi påverkar elevens förståelse för sitt instrument.Totalt intervjuades tre sånglärare som arbetar på musik- och dansskola, två sånglärare som arbetar på musikhögskola och fyra elever som läser sångkurser på gymnasiet. Vi kan efter genomförandet av de kvalitativa intervjuerna konstatera att lärarna i stor utsträckning anpassar ordval efter elevens behov och ålder. Lärarens egen bakgrund utifrån hur deras egen utbildning sett ut och vilken genretradition de kommer ifrån spelar också in i hur de använder termerna. Alla lärare är eniga om att ju äldre eleverna blir och ju längre de kommer i sin utbildning desto mer fysiskt språk används i undervisningen.

I samband med att begreppet arbetsförmåga började användas växte WAI (Work Ability Index) fram och började användas i Finland under 1980-talet. WAI används på både grupp- och individnivå för att bedöma befintlig och framtida arbetsförmåga i relation till nuvarande arbete. Syfte: Att undersöka vilken betydelse WAI har i Finland för att identifiera tidiga tecken på ohälsa hos arbetstagare samt hur resultatet kan användas i utformandet av insatser/interventioner. Metod: För att kunna ta del av upplevelser kring användandet av WAI genomfördes sex intervjuer med personal inom den privata företagshälsovården i Finland.

Boreal forest ecosystems in Fennoscandia are characterized by disturbances such as forest fires, storms and floods. However, industrial forestry practices suppress forest fires and change the landscape, leading to a loss of habitats and associated species. Particularly lichen species with slow adaptation abilities and a strong substrate specificity face an extinction debt in boreal forests since their substrates are long-lived but no longer created. The last century, forest fires have decreased in frequency due to efficient fire-suppression along with the growth of the industrial forestry. Since 1990, fire has been reintroduced under controlled forms to recreate burnt habitats. Many species that are dependent on, or benefits from, forest fires have increased since fire was reintroduced. The importance of connectivity is often addressed in ecological research. Tidigare forskning har visat att den psykosociala arbetsmiljön är en viktig del av arbetslivet eftersom individer påverkar och påverkas av den. En betydande del är också upplevelse av begriplighet, hanterbarhet och meningsfullhet som samtliga tillhör begreppet KASAM. Syftet med denna undersökning är att studera om olika aspekter kring psykosocial arbetsmiljö kan förklaras utifrån känsla av sammanhang (KASAM), kön, ålder och stress. Studien undersöker även samband mellan KASAM i kön, ålder samt stress. Undersökningen är fokuserad på både offentlig och privat sektor i arbetslivet n=140, fördelat på 94 kvinnor och 46 män.

Purpose: This study aims to examine the price transmission among ADRs (American Depositary Receipts) and their underlying shares, US market index and Hong Kong market index. We will attempt to capture how a shock in the home market is transmitted to the foreign (and vice versa). In addition we will attempt to assess the relative weight of each variable in the system generating unexpected variations of its own and other variables and at what speed the shocks are absorbed.Methodology: ADF unit root test, Johansen?s co-integration test, Granger causality test, VECM, impulse response, variance decomposition Empirical foundation: Five Chinese ADRs listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Each ADR represents a specific industry.
