This thesis introduces Kongjian Yu?s design approach in terms of industrial heritage conservation in connection to transformation and urban design. The approach is examined respectively on two cases from China and USA. The thesis give a brief introduction to current achievement in conservation research and general profile of industrial conservation practice. Based on case and theory study, Yu?s design approach is carefully applied to an industrial area Nyhamnen in Malmö and a design proposal is produced.

Kunskap som en av de viktigaste resurserna är väl uppmärksammad hos organisationer, men vad kunskap är och hur kunskapen sprids är inte lika självklart. För att skapa mer förståelse, intervjuade vi anställda som via sitt jobb har spenderat en viss tid utomlands. Syftet med vår studie är att undersöka dels vilka kunskaper respondenterna fått från vistelsen, dels vilka kanaler de har haft tillgång till efter hemkomsten för att kunna sprida kunskaperna vidare. Studien visar att respondenterna har fått många nya kunskaper och haft tillgång till flera olika kanaler. Det finns hinder som lett till att kanalerna inte använts på bästa möjliga sätt för att sprida kunskaperna vidare till deras kollegor..

I och med omregleringen på den svenska apoteksmarknaden så ställs svenska farmaceuter inför ett delvis nytt etiskt dilemma: valet mellan att se till patientens/kundens bästa, som en del av svensk hälso- och sjukvård, eller att se till arbetsgivarens intressen. Denna förändring i apotekskedjornas och farmaceuternas omvärld gjorde att flera intressenter i apoteksbranschen ville stärka apotekens och farmaceuternas roll som en del av hälso- och sjukvård. Således publicerade intressenter i apoteksbranschen, gemensamt, en etisk riktlinje ? svensk Good Pharmacy Practice. Samtidigt som riktlinjen innebar ett förslag på en lösning på ett problem så gav den också upphov till en osäkerhet för de enskilda apotekskedjorna; en osäkerhet som varje enskild organisation måste hantera.

The advantage and the possibility of keeping track of a number of vehicles to make work practice more effective and smooth is today a favorable choice for Visual Units Logistics customers. We?ve been evaluating the software and trying to take it one step further and letting not only the individual user, but maybe, the company as a whole benefit from its advantages. This has been done by using methods like letting ourselves get to know the software, user case studies, workplace studies, interviews and future workshops. This resulted in a prototype introducing a new function designed with all collected data in mind trying to make the software, Visual Units Logistics, even more effective for the every day work practice of the user. In recent years, agile software development methods have become increasingly popular throughout the world. Today there are a number of different agile methods and they all rest on the Agile Manifesto that was formulated in 2001 as a reaction to the traditional software processes.The aim of this thesis is to make a survey of some of the agile methods used today and to see how they are being used in practice. It consists of two parts: a literature study and an interview study with people working in the software business. First, a definition of agile methods is proposed and a number of different agile methods are described. Second, the interviews are being analysed with special focus on communication, collaboration, expectations and results.

Abstract This report is our bachelor thesis. Our work has taken place at a galvanising company in Sölvesborg. The company faced major changes, of which one was a computerisation process. The new system could involve changes in work practice and in specific tasks, affecting the workers. If the coming system was to support work, from the production personnel?s perspective, we felt a legitimate participation in the development and design of the future work practice, was a requirement that was not met. During our ethnographical studies we noted that conflicts arose between production and administrative -personnel.

An information audit identifies, among other things, organizations information resources, the information flow and the needs of the information users. The purpose of this masters thesis was to describe the management of information within a local unit of Borås municipality by putting an information audit-method in practice. The focus was on three issues: What information needs could be seen in the organization? How does the information flow through the organization? How does Sugan Henczels seven-stage model serve as a tool to map the management of information within the local unit? The study only described the situation at a certain time at the chosen organization. The seven-stage information audit model was revised and adjusted to the studied organization by only carrying out four of the seven steps: Planning, Data collection, Data analysis and Data evaluation.

Den här uppsatsen undersöker kompositionsprocessen av ett 48 minuter långt sammanhängande verk med en genrebred ensemble. Upphovspersonen avsåg att skapa en stilistiskt fungerande helhet där sex klassiska musiker, fyra jazzmusiker och åtta sångare samverkar med en förprogrammerad elektroakustisk stämma i surround. Även den elektroakustiska stämmans tillkomstprocess redogörs för, liksom de olika lösningar som behövdes för att, både musikaliskt och tekniskt, passa ihop den med ensemblen. Frågan om synkronisering mellan ensemblen och den elektroakustiska stämman tas upp, liksom lösningar av balansproblem. Valet att inte förstärka instrumenten elektriskt medförde ett stort ansvar hos upphovspersonen att instrumentera musiken omsorgsfullt och justera såväl rummet som vissa instrument.

The purpose of this study was to examine how teachers practice Arne Tragetons theory of using computers as the first writing instrument in reading and writing development. We wanted to clarify how the work from using Tragetons theory was applied while investigating if and how other methods of reading and writing instruction were used. Our interest lays in how the teachers accomplished the knowledge of this theory and also how the choice of this approach came about. To investigate this we used interviews with a qualitative nature, where seven active teachers were interviewed. They worked in three different schools in years one to three, they were all women and had various long experiences of work on the computer writing tools.

In 2011, the Swedish National Agency of Education introduced a new national curriculum including the compulsory school and upper secondary school. The new curriculum has been widely discussed by media and in the schools. This essay aims towards investigating how four History teachers in two upper secondary schools have experienced the introduction to the new curriculum, and whether they believe that the new curriculum has affected their teaching practice. The investigation conducted in this essay is based on four semi-structured interviews with four History teachers who work at two upper secondary schools situated in different towns of Sweden. The results of the investigation indicate that the interviewed teachers have experienced the transitional period between different curricula to have worked well even if it has been time demanding and also has increased their work effort.

The parent-student-teacher conference presumes school responsibility of the development of the student. Teacher, student and parents are supposed to talk freely and in confidence, the conference should lead to a forward looking and long term plan. The parent-student-teacher conference should presume equality amongst the parties. The intention of this paper is to illuminate how the conference can be a way to clarify the process of learning. I intend to do this by showing the practice of four teachers, by making conclusions from their experiences they have made in their practice.

Bakgrund: Humor har länge ansetts som något välgörande och har under de senaste decennierna blivit ett ämne som det forskas allt mer om, trots detta förefaller det inte finnas nog med evidens för att implementera humor som ett verktyg inom dagens sjukvård trots de hälsofrämjande egenskaper humor anses besitta.Syfte: Syftet med examensarbetet är att belysa humorns betydelse inom omvårdnaden.Metod: En litteraturstudie där materialet från tio kvalitativa studier analyserades.Resultat: Resultatet presenteras i form av fem teman: humor förmedlar budskap, humor bygger goda relationer, humor som terapeutisk lek, humor som ett verktyg för att uppehålla rollen som den goda patienten samt när humor inte givit önskat resultat. Resultatet visar att humor är ett effektivt instrument för att stärka och skapa sociala relationer samt att humor har en hälsofrämjande verkan, men även att humor måste användas med tillförsikt då om det används fel även kan skada en social relation.Klinisk betydelse: Humor är ett bra instrument för att stärka patient-sjuksköterskerelationen och för att främja god hälsa i omvårdnaden. Det finns behov av mer forskning på ämnet humor för att stärka dess evidens som ett användbart instrument.Slutsats: Humor är användbart för både patienter och sjuksköterskor som kan brukas i många syften inom omvårdnaden..
