Metso Minerals vill konkurrera med korta leveranstider för att på det sättet kunna erbjuda sina kunder högre tillgänglighet av produkter än vad konkurrenterna kan. Variationer i orderingång ska inte påverka förmågan att tillverka och leverera en produkt i tid. För att detta ska kunna uppfyllas är det viktigt att ta reda på hur stor produktionskapacitet det faktiskt finns och hur stor del av denna som används idag. Syfte: Syftet med examensarbetet är att bygga en analysmodell för styrning och uppföljning av ett produktionssystem.

Peat litter has been used in animal houses for a long time. Because of its good ability to absorb liquid and nutrients from the manure it can create a dry surface for animals and a valuable manure product. Through changes in agricultural practises the use of peat litter has diminished and is to a great extent replaced by straw, sawdust and cutter shavings although Sweden is rich in peat-findings. The aim of this work was to summarize the presented knowledge about the used of peat litter, techniques, advantages and disadvantages and to compare with other commonly used litter materials. Articles on peat litter have been searched for in magazines, databases and books at SLU library. Visits to peat industries, interviews with peat producers and with peat researchers contributed to the material. Peat is not a uniformly material.

Authorities, municipalities and county councils have great opportunities to pave the way to a sustainable society. In the public sector, the tax revenue is used and therefore it is important that both employees and societal stakeholders feel that they participate in the sector?s decisions and fields of application. Municipalities and county councils are primarily service organisations. The employees? commitment is necessary to be able to reach set goals, to develop procedures and policies that support the overall political goals, in other words, to be successful in the environmental work.

Bakgrunden till uppsatsen är att alltfler teknikbaserade självservice tjänster dyker upp på marknaden, dels för att öka ekonomi men också för att öka service för kunden. Risker med ökad teknologi är att den blir ett självändamål och att kundens uppfattningar och upplevelser kommer i andra hand, med konsekvenser för det ursprungliga syftet att öka konkurrenskraft. En av dessa teknikbaserade tjänster är självscanning. Tidigare uppsatser har fokuserat ekonomi och kundens förväntningar men saknar en fördjupad förståelse och en modell för vad som är fruktbart att mäta och var det är viktigt att mäta.Syftet med vår uppsats är att generera en kartläggningsmodell som ska kunna tillämpas vid utveckling av tjänsteprocesser, samt identifiera förbättringsförslag i en kartläggning av tjänsteprocessen självscanning.Våra huvudsakliga frågeställningar är:· Var och vad kan man mäta i en tjänsteprocess?· Vilka problem och styrkor har tjänsteprocessen självscanning?För att få svar på våra frågeställningar genomfördes en litteraturstudie, för att få kunskap om vad tidigare undersökningar och teorier visat när det gäller vad som är relevant att mäta.

Vid malmbrytning förflyttas malm långa sträckor med tåg. Malmbanan är en järnväg som går från Luleå till Narvik i Norge. Mellan Kiruna och Narvik fraktas det årligen ca 15 miljoner ton järnmalm. Tåget består av 2 lok med 52 vagnar där varje vagn kan väga upp till 100 ton. I kopplen mellan vissa vagnar uppstår sprickor som kan leda till brott så att tåget riskerar tappa vagnar.Syftet med det här arbetet är att titta på hur stora krafterna blir i kopplen mellan tågvagnarna.

For almost a decade, the traditional form of contracting regardingbuildings and foremost infrastructure has evolved contracting involving the owner to definethe outcome of the product, regardless involvement from the supposed contractor. As forthe swedish market, the traditional design-bid-build (DBB) have been the primary choice ofcontracting. Although changes have been made over time regarding contracting formswithin the road administration, the railway sector has not improved or justified changesregarding choice of contracting, they have conducted same contracting relationshipsbetween them and the contractor.This bachelor thesis, conducted at the Swedish railway administration with supervision ofprofessor Kristian Widén at Lunds University, explores the forces behind the new era ofcontracting within the railway administration. This bachelor thesis focuses mainly oncontracting regarding design-build-operate-main (DBOM), the new contracting formulabetween the owner and the contractor.

Peat litter is a soft material with high absorbency. About hundred years ago many farmers in Sweden used peat litter to their dairy cows. After the World War II the use of peat litter decreased and the farmers used more straw. Nowadays (year 2007), when it is harder to find straw and sawdust to buy, peat litter is advancing again. The purpose with this study is to investigate peat as a litter to dairy cows.

The object of this two years master's thesis has been to study a specific genre of personal archives by examiningthe archives of nine parents who have lost one or several infants. Using internet-based methods, (e-mail, Skypeand digital photographs), I have conducted qualitative research using a general interview guide technique. Usingresearch from archival theory as well as other fields, my material has been arranged and analysed according tothemes and recurring thoughts picked up from my informants during the interviews.My main theoretical aid has been that the role of parent who has lost a child is the starting point for the creationof the personal archives. Another important theory is my definition of the term ?document? as not dependent onmedium and format, but on usage: if an object has been used as a part of an archive, it is a document.
