Att bygga kundrelationer med hjälp av communities
The advancements in digital technology and its availability contribute to the transfer of companycentricproduct development and value creation to networks or communities. It also changes the basisfor creation of customer relationships as described in previous research on Customer relationshipmanagement (CRM). The purpose of this case study was to gain an understanding of how companieslike our case study object Memoto who developed a physical product which gets added-value fromdigital product-related services looks upon product-centered communities as a way of buildingcustomer relationships. How Memoto looks upon incentives for participation in product-centeredcommunities was also examined.Our research indicated that firms in the start-up phase (which Memoto was when this study wasconducted) initially want to have more control over the process of innovation and hence have directcontact with end-customers. The reason for this is because they see a need to define the basis forfurther innovation work.
Innovativt ledarskap : En studie om hur innovativt ledarskap utförs i praktiken på små IT-företag
Innovation kan anses vara ett nyckelord för svenskt företagande och forskning pekar på att innovation till stor del är en fråga om ledarskap. Att bryta rutiner och vara nytänkande är centralt. Utmaningen för innovativa ledare ligger därigenom i att skapa ett företag där nytänkande sker naturligt. Uppsatsens syfte är att beskriva och analysera hur innovativt ledarskap utförs i praktiken. Då tidigare forskning främst rört stora tillverkningsföretag har denna studie inriktats på små innovativa IT-företag.
Missilstyrning med Model Predictive Control
This thesis has been conducted at Saab Bofors Dynamics AB. The purpose was to investigate if a non-linear missile model could be stabilized when the optimal control signal is computed considering constraints on the control input. This is particularly interesting because the missile is controlled with rudders that have physical bounds. This strategy is called Model Predictive Control. Simulations are conducted to compare this strategy with others; firstly simulations with step responses and secondly simulations when the missile is supposed to hit a moving target.

The financial crisis in 2008, effected companies around the globe and forced them to change their operational strategies, in order to survive. Companies with international links needed to consider external effects and due to that adapt their strategies on a global level. Demands for goods and service were decreasing and companies could only manage the cost during a recession to not face bankruptcy. Organisations need to reconsider their optimal strategy as this will determine their future outcome when managing a crisis as the one in 2008. British Airways - Air Cargo is a global company with an international network which serves about 80 countries, with about 200 destinations.
Affärsinkubatorn i Innovationsprocessen : En studie i de roller som uppstår då en affärsinkubator participerar i en innovationsprocess
Purpose: This study`s purpose is to investigate the role of a business incubator in the strategic decision situations during the process of a new venture startup. It also aims to explore the methods and instruments the incubator and its advisers applies during the process.Methodology: This study is built on the basis of a hermeneutic approach with qualitative method and abductive design. The empirical material collected consist of interviews from two case studies and secondary data collection from different related sources.Theoretical perspective: The theory in the study consists of the elements of previous research on innovation processes and entrepreneurship. To analyze the data, models and theories related to decision making, incubation, process theories and organizational theories.Empirical foundation: The empirical material consists of interviews and data from two completed case studies. Additionally consist a relatively large part of the empirical data out of a comprehensive information retrieval from various secondary sources such as internet, newsletters and annual reports.Conclusion: The assay was able to detect not just one, but a variety of roles that the incubator occupies at different stages of the innovation process.

This is a study of innovative technologies that are primarily based on collaboration with a client who in this study is called FTG, because they chose to be anonymous. A problem set has been presented, analyzed and worked with. The result of this is that we found some weaknesses in the leadership that have influenced the motivation in the workgroup negatively. The study has focus on changing leadership in order to increase motivation and openness to innovation within the company. With this focus on change in leadership, we have done a basic search for relevant theories related to the topic and found interesting data to work with.
Innovation inom e-handel. En etnografisk inspirerad fallstudie av projektet att utveckla webshop på företaget Josephssons
Denna fallstudie utreder hur ett företag expanderar via ett innovativt projekt. Genom observationer, intervjuer och återberättelser har studien en etnografisk ansats för att skapa en bild av hur ett sådant projekt kan gå till och hur dess olika processer ser ut. Syftet med studien är att utifrån begreppen: innovation, projekt, projektledning och kunskapsöverföring analysera hur företaget Josephssons genomfört lanseringen av Josephssons Webshop och på vilket sätt det pågående innovativa projektet e?handel genomförs. Författarna har genom en litterär fördjupning av de olika begreppen skaffat sig en teoretisk referensram som sedan använts för att analysera det empiriska materialet.

A short product life cycle together with fads and new innovations puts pressure on the operators to respond to the ever changing environment and to develop and adapt their strategies after it.As a previous study regarding a specific operator?s strategy was cancelled due to the extensive confidentiality surrounding it, an interest was sparked to perform an industry analysis as this is clearly something the actors spend a great deal of time on developing. To prevent declining results many automakers have chosen to extend its brand to other industries i.e. various forms of brand extensions. The strategy has received an overall positive response, however, it does not apply well within the Swedish market where merchandise is sold in less quantity than abroad.

I Brundtlandsrapporten, skriven på uppdrag av Förenta Nationerna, är hållbar utveckling "en utveckling som tillfredsställer dagens behov utan att äventyra kommande generationers möjligheter att tillfredsställa sina behov" (World Commission on Environment and Development, 1987, s.43). Många gånger förknippas hållbar utveckling med tre specifika perspektiv; ekonomiskt, socialt, och miljömässigt perspektiv (Goosen, 2012).
Referenser i informationsåtervinning: utvärdering av en sökstrategi för citationsindex
In this essay, a search strategy for citation index is studied. The strategy, which is essentially a citation cycle, starts with documents retrieved by a subject search, wherefrom new documents are identified following the network of citations backwards and forwards in time. Based on the theory of polyrepresentation, the strategy exploits overlaps between cognitively different interpretations of the same documents in order to automatically select references seed documents used as a starting point for the forward chaining. The purpose of the investigation is to evaluate the retrieval effectiveness of the search strategy and to find out whether the strategy can be used to expand a subject search with the help of the network of references in order to retrieve new relevant documents. Konsumentens roll i innovationsprocessen- En studie av Lantmännen Cerealia
Syftet med denna uppsats är att studera innovations- processen i ett fallföretag för att öka förståelsen för konsumentens betydelse och roll i denna. Studien är av kvalitativ, explorativ och abduktiv karaktär. Primärdata har samlats in med hjälp av djupintervjuer med utvalda personer inom Lantmännen och Lantmännen Cerealia. Sekundärdata har samlats in från litteratur, vetenskapliga artiklar samt elektroniska dokument. Kapitlet behandlar teorier om begreppet innovation, innovationsprocesser genom tiderna samt olika sätt för att integrera konsumenten i processen.
Idéhantering för varaktig idégenerering : En studie i upprepad idégenerering på Volvo CE
Studien syftar till att förbättra kunskapen om förhållandet mellan idéhantering och idégenereringsvilja hos Volvo CE och presenterar rekommendationer för fortsatt förbättringsarbete. Detta behov har uppkommit då Volvo CE uppfattat att antalet genererade idéer sjunkit. Följande frågor formulerades i arbetets inledningsfas: Hur påverkas deltagarnas vilja att komma med idéer och förbättringsförslag av idéhanteringssystemet? Finns det brister i Volvos idéhanteringssystem och om så är fallet, hur avhjälps detta? Arbetets empiri samlades genom ett antal intervjuer av deltagare och processledare under hösten 2011 och metoden har varit kvalitativ med grundad teori som ansats. Resultatet av arbetet är ett antal faktorer som tillsammans kraftigt påverkar deltagarnas idégenereringsvilja på lång sikt.

The area of research has formerly described which results customer-involvement lead to, but have been scarce in describing how results are produced. Method: From a qualitative onset, a case-study collecting data through observations and interviews capturing customer knowledge contributions, and producer use of fetched knowledge has been conducted. Data has been analyzed using a grounded theory approach. Results have been processed in several steps in which material has been categorized and enriched continuously. Result & Conclusions: Customer-knowledge is broken down into market-knowledge, everyday-knowledge, and specialist-knowledge, which all are significant to a producer of goods.
