Different techniques for precision agriculture have been available during the last decade. Some of them are more widely used than others. The main purpose of this thesis was to investigate the different attitudes to precision agriculture that exists among farmers and advisors in Sweden. Eight advisors and sixteen farmers were asked for their opinion of a number of specific techniques for precision agriculture, such as yield-mapping, precision liming, the Yara Nitrogen Sensor and site-specific fertilization with phosphorous and potassium. They were also asked to describe the way in which the counselling in Swedish agriculture is used and also about it's importance for the adaptation of new techniques. The high costs are mentioned to be one of the most important reasons why precision agriculture hasn't been more widely spread. Several farmers refer to their farms as too small to bear the costs that come with the techniques. The individual interest for technique among the potential users plays an important role.

Vad är det, som gör så att en vara blir synonymt med en hel varugrupp, som exempelvis Lypsyl för läppcerat? Vilka bakomliggande faktorer är det som är verksamma för att en teknologi fullständig konkurrerar ut en annan, såsom VHS gjorde med BetaMax? Dessa frågor kring hur teknologisk utveckling sker och i många fall skapar förutsättningar för en standard på marknaden undersöker författarna Bik och Bodin i kandidatuppsatsen Innovationsimplementering ? Att sätta en standard.Genom att studera utvecklingsprocessen för det elektroniska faktureringsformatet Svefakturan och dess väg till att bli det dominerande formatet inom e-fakturering i Sverige visar författarna på vilka faktorer som bör ses som särskilt viktiga. En fallstudie som inte enbart belyser viktiga fenomen i och kring problemområdet utan även är högst aktuellt. Då samtliga svenska myndigheter genom ett obligatorium av riksdagen måste sköta alla sina faktureringar elektroniskt, senast den första juli 2008.Utgångspunkten i studien har varit deduktiv, varför teoretiseranden inom problemområdet har fungerat, som undersökningens utgångspunkt. Den teroetiska referensaramen utgjordes till stor del av dominant design modellen, som visar på ett visst evolutionärt synsätt gällande teknologisk utveckling.

Många organisationer använder sig idag av produktutvecklingsteam som är en form av tvärfunktionellt team. De används därför att det har visat sig ge givande resultat för organisationen, med utgångspunkt från innovation. Hur givande är teamen i lärosynpunkt för individerna i teamet? Med denna fråga som utgångspunkt startade min studie. Då det redan fanns rikligt med litteratur kring både mångfald och lärande i team, men lite litteratur som sammanbinder dem, såg jag det som en utmaning att försöka göra just det.

Bakgrund: N?jesparker, som Liseberg med ?ver 2,2 miljoner bes?kare ?rligen, ?r v?xande turistattraktioner med stor potential. De bidrar till h?llbarhet genom sociala, milj?m?ssiga och ekonomiska initiativ men st?r inf?r utmaningar som s?songsberoende, s?kerhetskrav, teknologiska f?rv?ntningar och personalhantering. N?jesparker beh?ver ?ven hantera stora m?ngder avfall, energi- och vattenf?rbrukning samt resursintensiva byggnationer.

Denna rapport kommer av avhandla det examensarbete som genomförts inom civilingenjörsprogrammet innovation och produktdesign på Mälardalens högskola. Arbetet har genomförts på RemaControl Sweden AB och startade den 3:e september 2012 med slutpresentation den 29:e mars 2013.RemaControl är ett företag som är baserat i Västerås och tillverkar mätsystem till sågverksindustrin. Den produkt som detta projekt har kretsat runt är deras mätsystem som heter RemaLog X-Ray som är ett ?state-of-the-art-system? som använder sig av röntgen för att läsa av mätdata från trästockar när de kommer in på sågverket.Uppdraget från RemaControl var att omkonstruera den skyddshuv som omsluter röntgenrören. Dess syfte är att skydda miljön utanför mätramen från strålning som röntgenrören genererar.

De internationella klimatförhandlingarna handlar om att hitta lösningar för att stabilisera halten av växthusgaser i atmosfären och att uppnå tvågradersmålet. För att uppnå målet finns olika utsläppsmål att sträva mot. Ett är ett utsläppstak där varje land inte får släppa ut mer än 2 ton CO2-ekv/capita per år för att tvågradersmålet ska uppnås. Ett annat utsläppsmål är att minska de nationella utsläppen med en viss procentsats. EU:s del i minskningen ligger på 80-95 % till 2050.Som en del av arbetet mot målet presenterade EU i mars 2011 en färdplan för ett utsläppsnålt samhälle.

This report is the result of a thesis carried out at the Department of Innovation, Design and Technology (IDT), at Mälardalen University on behalf of ABB AB Machines.The year was 1988 when ASEA and Brown Boveri formed a joint venture under the name ABB (Asea Brown Boveri).We perform our thesis at the division Discrete Automation and Motion where they primarily develops, manufactures and sells synchronous and asynchronous AC motors and generators.The main purpose of this thesis was initially to write a general packaging instruction, but the priority changed to develop more specific packaging instructions for Rotors, Stator gables, Bearing support and Outer Cover (plates) instead.The work started off to deal with a problem about that the staff had to start its work to grind away rust on the stator gables due to those stored outdoors. The result was mainly an investment in a new gable rack so that the material can be stored inside, as well as a packing instruction as it was originally intended.The problem on the bearing supports were that the staff thought it was demanding and difficult to clean them from the rustproofing they were greased in. If it is not possible to remove all rust protection it can cause the paint to not attach properly. After having compared with similar articles a test were done to order a pair of bearing supports without corrosion inhibitor, which gave good results. This initiative also set in motion a process to do the same for more different items.For special pallet, a survey were made of the process with two different VSM and a calculation of how much ABB would earn at ordering more special pallets than getting the material delivered on the A-pallets.

In the last phase a final piece is to be done and in this case Boda Borg in Skellefteå is the company in need of product development. Boda Borg is a company in the experience industry and they are located in nine cities from Gällivare in the north of Sweden to Karlskrona in the south. Boda Borg is a franchise company where every facility is their own. As a visitor you will experience physical challenges as well as intellectual in adventure rooms which are serial linked.

Collections, compilations and databases currently stand under a solid intellectual property protection in Sweden. This legal protection is partly a product of the old Nordic ?catalogue-rule? seen in the former 49 § of the Swedish copyright act (upphovsrättslagen) but was further extended by the implementation of the EU directive on the legal protection of databases 96/9/EG and the new sui generis-right. Since major values are represented digitally combined with the fact that Internet serves as the main provider for information a strong legal protection for databases must be carefully crafted. When crafting this kind of legal protection the right to freedom of information is balanced against the database producers? interests of property protection as well as social and public interests such as increased innovation.

A growing need to strengthen ones position on the market, even as a city in competition with other cities, has resulted in an increasing number of municipalities developing brand platforms. When the city of Umeå developed their platform, they identified decision makers and investors as one of four important target groups.The aim of this study is to explore the portrayed image of the city of Umeå in two Swedish trade journals which addresses the specific target group decition makers and investors in both public and private sector. The aim is also to compare the image of Umeå in the two papers, to the ambition of the municipality, expressed in the brand platform.In order to make the observations as firmly established as possible, the method of the study is a combination of a quantitative content analysis and a qualitative text analysis. The study draws on the theories of Eli Avraham and Philip Kotler, concerning how to improve city images and how to market a specific city among others. The study shows that the city of Umeå in large extent is portrayed in accordance to the ambition which the municipality expressed in the brand platform.Umeå is displayed as an expanding city.

Inledning: Begreppet kreativitet används inom restaurangbranschen och av massmedia som positiv egenskap hos kockar. Forskningen visar att kreativa maträtter och produkter utvecklas när kockar kommunicerar med personer från andra discipliner. Unga kockar tränas traditionsenligt att bli skickliga hantverkare för att repetera mästerkockarnas maträtter. I kocktävlingen Årets Kock uppmuntras kockar till kreativitet, maträtterna som de tävlande kockarna skapar bedöms av tidigare vinnare och mästerkockar som vill bli både överraskade och samtidigt känna igen sig.Syfte: Syftet är att belysa vad begreppet kreativitet står för inom gastronomi och matlagning, med särskild inriktning mot vad kreativitet står för som det kommer till uttryck vid bedömningen av maträtterna i kocktävlingen Årets Kock.Metod och material: Flera metoder har använts för att öka förståelsen för eventet och kocktävlingen Årets Kock. Tävlingsledningen har intervjuats och matbilderna från åren 2007 - 2012 på de vinnande maträtterna har analyserats.

SammanfattningSister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute i Minneapolis är en sjukhusinstitution, känd för sin innovativa rehabiliteringsteknik och sjukhusutrustning sedan långt tillbaka i tiden.Projektet för det här examensarbetet utfördes inom Sister Kenny Research Center, forskningscentret för institutet. Det som öppnade upp för projektet var en vilja att göra en ny, radikal innovation inom området dynamiska ortoser. Fokuset låg på människor som drabbats av stroke, och därför fått en halvsidesförlamning i ena handen.Lösningar med drag-system för att räta ut handens fingrar kunde hittas i befintliga ortoser för denna grupp människor. I likhet med de dragsystem som tillämpas i annan utrustning inom sjukhusmiljön var dessa generellt klumpiga och inte särskilt funktionella.Målet blev därför att skapa en bättre ortos som kunde möjliggöra en längre användningstid, och ett användande i miljöer utanför sjukhuset.Ett kliniskt innovationsteam skapades, för att ta fram nya koncept, och för att garantera att både användarens och konsumentens röst blev hörd mitt i innovationsprocessen.Bakgrundsstudier, observationer och intervjuer utfördes för att reda ut var de verkliga problemen låg, och för att separera det nya konceptet från existerande.Genom användandet av diverse kreativa verktyg tog teamet fram fem koncept. På ett av dessa utvecklade de finger-element, transmission och reglage-delar, som skulle utgöra en mer skonsam och användarvänlig ortos.Resultatet av projektet blev en ?sen-härmande? ortos gjord av resårband, knutna till olika delar av fingret.

Problem:proAros har en idébank som är framarbetad av utvecklingsenheten för att främja idégenerering och nytänkande inom organisationen. Problemet är att idébanken inte används av de anställda. Hemsidan har blivit marknadsförd, men ändå verkar ingen använda sidan för att lämna sina idéer. Under studien framkommer det att många av de anställda inte vet om idébankens existens och att en bristande kommunikation råder inom hela organisationen.Syfte:Syftet med denna uppsats är att få svar på frågan varför idébanken inte används av de anställda inom proAros samt hur man kan lösa de kommunikativa hinder som uppstår vid informationsspridning inom organisationen.Metod:De metoder som används i denna uppsats är dels kvalitativa intervjuer men även kvantitativa enkätundersökningar bland anställda inom proAros. Blandningen av djupgående intervjuer och enkäter har sedan lett till slutresultatet.
