Undersökningen bestod även av ett flertal intervjuer med deltagare från två olika team.

Graphic design is an integrated part of the public spaces we move through in our daily lives. This thesis explores the emotional aspects of graphic design, with a focus on environmental graphics for the public space. The goal is to find ways in which the emotional aspects of a design solution can be varied without compromising the practical aspects, i.e. affect the conveyance of information. This goal is pursued through an analysis of historical and contemporary literature as well as by design practise.

Föreliggande kandidatarbete har till syfte att undersöka fenomenet Webskrapning. Webbskrapnings-program (också kända som Web Wanderers, Crawlers, Spiders eller skrapare) är program som söker igenom webben automatiskt för att extrahera information från webbsidor. Ett exempel på web skrapning är när ett företag samlar in data om prissättningar på en vara eller en tjänst och sen använder informationen för att producera billigare erbjudanden. Detta ger företaget en fördel så att de kan fokusera mera på att marknadsföra sin sida/tjänster. Utöver detta så blir de utsatta företagens servrar också hårt belastade med trafik (skrapning) från ?icke kunder?. Efter att ha genomsökt både akademiska och allmänna källor via informationsinsamling, av denna information så dras slutsatsen att man inte fullt ut kan hindra skrapning av hemsidor. Detta på samma sätt som man inte fullt ut kan hindra någon IT-attack, det finns inga 100 % vattentäta system.

In this study we have examined how men and women are heard on Sveriges Televisions program Debatt. Debatt broadcast on Sveriges Televison which is a public service broadcaster. Through the use of a quantitative content analysis and a dialogical approach, we have documented how many men and women who speak, how they speak, how long they have the word and the subjects they will be heard in, in the program Debatt. We have investigated the ten last broadcast programs from the fallseason 2011. Every program is 45 minutes long and contains from two to three discussiontopics each time. By categorizing our survey and enter the result in four different tables, we found that the majority, 63%, of those that are heard are men.

New technologies and new consumer behaviors are having a large impact on mediacompanies. The biggest change is in the behavior of the younger demographic whereold platforms like television are abandoned for new online platforms. In this newworld, media companies and organizations need new tools and business models tostay competitive. One such tool is Design Thinking, a term used to describe a cognitivedesign-specific set of activities used during a design process. It has been popularizedin commercial areas and there the term is used to describe an applicable workflowused to promote the skills required to use Design Thinking.

AbstractThe purpose of this work is to try to find out how young people's reading habits among students look at different types of secondary school, ie. both theoretical and practical, and what factors might encourage them to read more. My questions have been; do young people read today? Is there any difference between city, gender or program? What can a teacher do to inspire young people to read more? I have made a questionnaire survey among different students at two different high schools in Skaraborg. The first school is a high school located in a medium sized town, where I made inquiries to the scientific program, social program, Business and Administration Program and the Electricity Program.

This report describes how the process has evolved during the creation of a new web page forthe company Scandinavian Travel Agent DMC. The design methods that have been used aredescribed and also how parts of the webpage have been created by using the design methodresults. Our reflections around design and functionality are explained and how usability hasbeen our main focus during the master thesis. We also describe how it has been to work withan external costumer and how the tasks constantly have changed and been added as theprocess has continued.The background to this work is that AB Scandinavian Travel Agent DMC need to improve theircurrent web page. This to give the clients better needed information about destinations, butalso to stand out in the competitive travel business.

SummaryA complete graphic profile program along with marketing material has been produced for seven photographers.The material has been produced in consideration to sell their pictures outside of Scandinaviaand Brazil as first priority. The criterion for the profile is to give a message of quality and ofScandinavia. Through research and interviews facts about typical scandinavian design have beenfound. Since the pictures will be exported abroad, a selling packaging solution has been developed. Theparts that are included in the marketing material are: a brochure, display solution, a website and printingexamples.

Vårt syfte med denna fallstudie är att undersöka, beskriva och förklara hur man kan skapa och främja ett kreativt klimat i tillverkande organisationer för att på så sätt skapa innovationer som kan ge organisationen försprång i konkurrensen på den marknad de agerar på. Vi har i vår fallstudie funnit att företag idag, för att kunna försvara sin plats på en konkurrensutsatt marknad, behöver vara innovativa och nytänkande. Vi har kommit fram till att kommunikation och inre motivation är viktiga komponenter för att skapa ett klimat som främjar innovationer. Genom att ge medarbetare rätt verktyg blir samtliga länkar i organisationen viktiga i detta arbete..

 Syftet med detta projekt är att göra en marknadsundersökning av dimensioneringsprogram för byggnadskonstruktörer och att ge en rekommendation till Byggteknik AB för val av programvara. Metoden är att först genomföra en marknadsundersökning, sedan utvärdera lämpliga program och sist ge en rekommendation. Utvärderingen och rekommendationen ska grundas på användarvändlighet, pris, support, uppdateringar, långsiktig ägare, landsstandarder och utbildningsbehov. Resultatet från användandet gav stora differenser, med över 50% större maximalt moment i StruSoft FEM- Design och över dubbelt så stor nedböjning i Robot Millennium. Jämförelsen mellan programmen visar att Robot Millennium har en bättre användarvänlighet och lägre pris. Dock har StruSoft FEM- Design svensk support, automatiska uppdateringar och hanterar svensk landsstandard.

The purpose of our study was to examine how three teachers and four students relate to the program "Fem myror" in teaching. We have been through qualitative interviews with two teachers and one special teacher received a detailed picture of how their literacy programs made in relation to the "Fem myror." Qualitative interviews have also been made with four students, a boy and three girls, in order to examine their attitude to the program. From educators? interview answers, we think we can say that the theory and practice conform to what we read in the literature may be associated with what we observed during our time in the business. The study has shown that all teachers believe the program will be a good educational tool to take to read and write.

This study deals with integration between core subjects and character subjects on the upper secondary schools Electrical Engineering Programme. The purpose is to investigate how four teachers define subject integration, which the advantages and disadvantages are according to them and what the purpose is whit integrate the core subjects and the character subjects.The finding in this study highlighted that between themselves the teachers had different definitions of subject integration. Idag ?nns det en stor mängd program för att underlätta vid design av ett gra?skt användargränssnitt. Många av dessa gör det enkelt att snabbt skapa en prototyp för att exempelvis illustrera en idé kring hur ett gränssnitt kan se ut. Vad som däremot ofta saknas är ett e?ektivt och intuitivt verktyg för att skapa funktionalitet i prototypen och göra gränssnittet levande utan att behöva kunskaper i programmering.Den här rapporten studerar hur ett verktyg för att skapa funktionalitet i prototyper, och som inte kräver några kunskaper i programmering, skulle kunna fungera.
