Vara förälder till ett barn som är inneliggande på ett sjukhus är komplicerat, svårt och upplevs olika av föräldrar. Isolering kan orsaka stress och leda till kontroll-, informations- och kommunikationsbehov. Syftet med studien var att beskriva föräldrars upplevelser av att vistas i isoleringsrum vid vård av sina barn på sjukhus. Studien har en deskriptiv kvalitativ design. Resultatet visade att föräldrarna kände sig besvärliga och var rädda för att störa när de behövde be om hjälp.

AbstractTitle: A union, a collaboration and a currency crisis- a quantitative study of the media coverage of the euro crisis within the European Union in Spanish and Swedish newspapers.The purpose of this study was to see whether Sweden and Spain ?s differences in media climates and relations to the euro crisis would affect how the story was portrayed from a narrative perspective. Did the coverage differ between the two countries and who got to comment on the situation in the media were two of the questions I strived to answer. I also wanted to see how the coverage reflected on the situation that the euro crisis has created.In this study I used a number of theories that I based my research on. The main theories I focused on was about different media systems and Sweden and Spain ?s relation to the euro crisis.

The thesis presented in this report has been made on behalf of Scania and their basic frame design department with the subject to solve an implementation of a weight sensing system in the chassis. The system is supposed to be implemented in the seat springs, and the reason for this is that all the force will have to go through the weight sensing transducers. With all the force going through the transducers the weight sensing system will not be sensitive for the differences in tolerances from manufacturing. The transducers could be pre-calibrated to avoid a calibration of the whole vehicle after it?s completed from the manufacturing line.Weight sensing systems is today a reality in trucks with air springs.

In order to produce grain in an economically rational manner numerous decisions have to be made. One of these decisions is what tillage system to use. The cost of the tillage system is a large part of the total cost in grain production. Different tillage systems result in different distribution of fixed costs, operating costs and timeliness costs. The price of the produced grain and cost of inputs also affect the best way to produce grain.

This report is made as a literature review, focusing on the work done to increase understanding of efficiency in the categories of substations and secondary heating systems, with respect to the deviation from the theoretically possible cooling off in the distribution network as well as the economic benefit that appear. The main purpose of a considerable part of the literature used in this report addresses the issue of identifying individual causes of reduced cooling in district heating systems. These literature resources have been compiled and summarized as part of the report.The technology of district heating is associated with benefits such as better use of the energy in a fuel. This is the case of cogeneration plants where serial generation of electricity and thermal energy increases efficiency compared with the parallel generation where heat is generated locally and electricity is generated centrally. Serial generation thus allows for lower primary energy demand.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur lärare kan utveckla sin undervisning med hjälp av digitala hjälpmedel och ta del av andra lärares erfarenheter med att arbeta med sådana hjälpmedel i slöjd, hem- och konsumentkunskap. Frågorna var; hur bidrar digitala hjälpmedel till att förbättra undervisningen i slöjden; Vilka för- och nackdelar upplever lärare av att arbeta med digitala verktyg; Hur väljer estetiska ämneslärare att kommunicera via nätbaserade kommunikationstjänster och vilka positiva, negativa konsekvenser har det kommunikationsvalet fört med sig? Tre olika metoder har använts för att samla in data till studien, deltagande observationer på en grundskola, aktioner för att designa undervisningen med digitala verktyg och intervjuer med lärare inom estetämnen. Detta examensarbete handlar om huruvida aktiva kort kan användas som säkerhetshjälpmedel vid hantering av datoriserade patientjournaler inom sjukvården.Rapporten börjar med en beskrivning av informationssystemen och informations-säkerheten inom sjukvården. Därefter ges en beskrivning av aktiva kort, deras för- och nackdelar samt vilka säkerhetsfunktioner som kortet tillhandahåller.Fokuseringen ligger på om är det tekniskt möjligt för behörig personal att med hjälp av aktiva kort logga in på olika informationssystem och ge dem tillgång till den information som de behöver i patientjournalen och ändå hindra obehörig åtkomst. Gällande lagar och föreskrifter tas i beaktning samt hur aktiva kort kan användas vid digital signering av patientjournaler.Undersökningen har genomförts med hjälp av litteraturstudie. Först undersöktes vilka krav som bör uppfyllas när patientjournaler skall datoriseras. Därefter studerades vad som är tekniskt möjligt att utföra med aktiva kort.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att göra en jämförande analys av ekonomikurser på Högskolan i Gävle där informations- och kommunikationsteknik (IKT) används i olika utsträckning i klassrums- och nätverksmodellen. Metod: Studien bygger på ansatser från metoderna aktionsforskning och etnografi som utgår från en klassrumsmodell av campuskurser och en nätverksmodell av distanskurser. Resultat & slutsats: Det är skillnad i upplägg av information och material på Blackboard i de kurser vi studerat. De minst utvecklade och de mest utvecklade kurserna har olika strukturer i dispositionen.     De två modeller som denna studie utgår ifrån skiljer sig från varandra. To reconstruct a building is a long-term investment for farmers and it is important that people with different qualifications are involved at an early stage for making the system adapted to the animals as well the animal keeper. Therefore, ethologists who can contribute with their expertise are needed to design the system and get it to function well for the animals.A Swedish farmer who planned to rebuild her stall for tied dairy cattle to a loose-housing system for recruitment heifers for milk production asked me as an ethologist to find a system which can be fit to her existing tie-stall barn for 30 dairy cows, considering the animal needs in terms of movement, social interactions and play behaviors, and to theoretically compare the system with other systems with respect to the behaviors mentioned.The theoretical comparison between different systems was made through a scientific literature review.In agreement with the animal keeper I set out to fit a system with feeding cubicles, a system with cubicles and a system with deep straw bedding to the barn. After measurements were taken and preliminary drawings were outlined it was found that only the feeding cubicle system was possible to fit to the barn.The space provided will limit the animals to perform some playing behaviors. To decrease aggressive interactions between animals even thought a limiting area it is possible to provide partitions between resources animals compete around to prevent that more than one animal can get success to the resource at a particular place at one time. To increase the animal movement in the system the water trays were moved to the outer wall instead of kept in contact with the stalls.Although this report provides guidelines for rebuilding, other competences regarding building construction and a pre-test of the suggested building solution according to Swedish legislation are needed before the rebuilding can start.The results are directed mainly to the owner of the barn, but the literature review can be used by other cattle farmers and might bring increased understanding of the possible effects of different building solution on the animals..
