Abstract: Since the implementation of IFRS, many changes in accounting standards have occured. Companies that follow IFRS must therefore always adapt and change its accountingprinciples according to changes made by IFRS. The latest change that companies must consider and adapt to in their financial accounting is the revised version of IAS 19 regarding pensions. This study aims to investigate if there is a relationship between financial accounting and management accounting due to changes made by IASB. More specifically the study investgates how the removal of the corridormethod and the introduction of IAS 19 as an external approach has affected its management accounting in three large corporations in Sweden.

This master's thesis focuses on the development of a strategy for aninformation service in the area of digitization of cultural heritage andresearch, with a web based platform as implementation of the strategy. The past and ongoing structural change in Swedish agriculture has led to an increasing number of large-scale farms. The biological factors associated with large-scale farming operations may cause increasing variability, risk and reduced yields due to sub-optimal timing and management of field operations. The theory of economies of scale suggests that largescale production may benefit from lower costs due to scale efficiencies. Thus, large-scale farms may face cost reductions in terms of long term inputs factors, e.g. agricultural machinery.

The ISO standard ISO/IEC 17799/SS-627799-2 is a guidance for organizations to realize their information security goals. In spite of this standard, studies show flaws regarding information security in organizations. In particular flaws regarding overall view, knowledge and clear roles and responsibilities have been observed. The ISIT (Information Security Integrated Three level) model and its guidelines, developed in this thesis, help organizations to identify the required processes and procedures as well as the logical process flow. The thesis is based on theoretical studies and a case study within a multinational company.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between Earnings Management (EM) and certain characteristics of management forecasts, among a sample of Swedish listed companies. The forecast characteristics studied are: 1) Forecast venue: How explicitly is the forecast presented? 2) Forecast precision: How detailed is the estimated number? 3) Forecast measure: Which measure(s) are forecasted? We use a sample of 68 annual management forecasts, obtained from year-end reports between the years 2007-2011. EM during the forecasted year (2008-2012) is estimated using the cross-sectional modified-Jones model. The forecast characteristics are then related to the degree of EM during the forecasted period.

Nu när effekterna av bilens framfart blivit kända är tåget åter ett intressant alternativ och olika gamla tågsträckningar vill återupplivas. Simrishamnsbanan är en sådan tågsträcka och är tänkta att åter förena de orter som finns mellan Malmö och Simrishamn. Veberöd är en av de orter som ligger utmed den forna tågsträckan och orten ingår i Lundskommun och mitt syfte med detta examensarbete är att finna svar på hur Veberöd ur ett ekonomiskat, socialt och ekologiskt "hållbart" sätt ska kunna anpassa sig till ett stationsnära läge, med tyngdpunkt på: Bostadsstruktur, Infrastruktur och Grönstruktur. Detta utifrån ett scenario där Simrishamnsbanan realiseras. Examensarbetet börjar med att problematisera hållbarhetsbegreppet och begrepp som täthet och gleshet, därefter följer en omfattande analys av Veberöds historia, bostadsområden, grönstruktur, verksamhet och service.

The aim of this study is two folded. We wish to investigate if there is a value premium from hedging jet fuel exposure for American and European airlines. We also seek to answer if airlines can affect their probability to default by using Risk Management. During the period 2003 ? 2006 there existed a value premium for airlines that hedged their expected future consumption of jet fuel.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att kartlägga hur Performance Management-system praktiseras inom svenska organisationer. Med utgångspunkt ur de teorier och modeller som återfinns i litteraturen ska sedan resultatet analyseras. Samtliga av de undersökta industrikoncernerna har tagit till sig PM-synsättet och praktiserar det i någon mån. Skälen till detta benämns vara att verktygen i större grad än annars kan få hela företaget att uppnå gemensam fokus på företagens målsättningar. Hur detta senare visar sig i hur företaget faktiskt jobbar finns det, en del att vara ifrågasättande emot.

Syftet är att beskriva vilken information angående personalens sjukfrånvaro som förekommer i kommunernas årsredovisningar samt att identifiera varför denna information redovisas eller inte redovisas. Vi har dessutom som syfte att undersöka vad den kommande lagändringen angående obligatorisk redovisning av sjukfrånvaro kommer att få för påverkan på kommunernas redovisning. För att uppfylla vårt syfte har vi har använt oss av en kombinationsmetod av en kvantitativ dokumentstudie av Skånes samtliga kommuners årsredovisningar och personliga intervjuer av mer kvalitativ art. Resultatet av vår undersökning visar att samtliga årsredovisningar som vi har undersökt har innehållit information om sjukfrånvaro. Att personalen anses vara kommunens viktigaste resurs samt att kommunerna i allmänhet anses vara öppna med information är säkert anledningar till att denna redovisning sker.
