Denna studie observerade 30 inspelade polisintervjuer och undersökte om informationsmängden och informationstypen som brottsoffer och misstänkta lämnade under en polisintervju påverkades av intervjustilen. Underliggande variabler som konstituerar humanitet respektive dominans, respekt respektive ångest undersöktes. Oberoende t-test visade att brottsoffer i jämförelse med misstänkta dels lämnade signifikant mer total mängd information, dels signifikant mer mängd information av typerna när, hur, tid och varför. En tvåvägs Anova visade en signifikant huvudeffekt för mängden genererad information vid en undersökning av två av de underliggande variabler som konstituerar respekt: Den hörde berättar spontant & flödigt om händelsen, tillmötesgående & samarbetsvillig; Den hörde uttrycker sorg med eventuell gråt men berättar/svarar flödigt på frågor. The purpose of this paper is to investigate and analyze the importance of networking and relationships in the music industry. We also want to see whether these factors have any impact on the Swedish music exports.These musings have led to the formulation of the following question; -          How can the musiclabels in the music industry make use of networks and relationships to strengthen the Swedish music exports to the U.S. and make it more efficient? The essay is written with a qualitative method with an abductive perspective. That?s because our research question has demanded that we get a deeper view of the subject to be able to answer it.The empirical data is collected through telephone or email interviews.

This master thesis deals with events, dynamics and problems of mediated information seeking within the context of a new information service called "Book a librarian". The study, based on a survey and interviews both in academic and public libraries and participant observations in academic libraries, has its theoretical base in the cognitive theory of information retrieval interaction. The cognitive view is used to throw light upon the need of an ongoing dialogue during the session in order to detect the information needs of the user and to conduct a successful retrieval of information. The communicative interaction is seen as threepart interaction between the intermediary, the user and the information system, where the current cognitive states of all three participants are involved. The study shows that the cognitive obstacles for a successful mediation and information retrieval are mostly connected to participants current knowledge of the subject and of the retrieval techniques.

Background: A great part of all projects within Swedish industry are conducted in a multiprojectenvironment, which means that several projects are performed simultaneously. The research within the field of project management is though focused on single projects. Projects are highly dependent on the context in which they are conducted, although the organization of the multiprojectenvironment is only partly explored. Furthermore is the research within the project management highly concentrated on standardization of the project work. The question is whether this implies to the basic advantages with the project-oriented organization, which is flexibility and creativity? Purpose: To describe and obtain an understanding for the multiprojectenvironment regarding management control and organization.

Bakgrund: Cirka 30 000 personer insjuknar i hjärtinfarkt i Sverige årligen och det är den största folksjukdomen. Hjärtinfarkt är inte bara ett akut tillstånd, utan även en kronisk sjukdom. Vid insjuknande är det därför viktigt att personerna får information för att förstå sitt tillstånd.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa personers upplevelse av information given av sjukvårdspersonal efter att ha insjuknat i hjärtinfarkt.Metod: Studien gjordes som en litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats där nio vetenskapliga artiklar ligger till grund för studiens resultat. Analysen utfördes enligt Graneheim och Lundman.Resultat: Analysen resulterade i upplevelserna: personerna fick information på varierande sätt från sjukvårdspersonalen, Informationen gav stöd och trygghet och Saknar tillräcklig information.Slutsats: Personer som insjuknat i hjärtinfarkt upplever att de får bristande information om sitt hälsotillstånd och livet efter. Därför är det viktigt att sjukvårdspersonalen ger information anpassad efter individens förutsättningar.

Typ 2 diabetes har genom ökad levnadsstandard vuxit till ett världsomfattande problem. I Sverige har cirka 300 000 personer typ 2 diabetes. Omvårdnaden av denna patientgrupp kommer till stor del bestå av stöd och information. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva betydelse av stöd och information till patienter med typ 2 diabetes. Ett bra stöd från hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal och närstående är positivt för patienten.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att identifiera vilken ekonomisk information som en företagsledning i ett större tillverkande företag förmedlar, samt verifiera om detta stämmer överens med vad produktionspersonalen har vetskap om. De respondenter som har störst vetskap om den ekonomiska informationen är mer engagerade, känner större samhörighet i gruppen och är mer insatta i företagets ekonomiska situation. The web has made an incredible amount of unorganized information available to anyone. There are search engines that help us structuring the information, but it is still difficult to find what you search for on the web. The purpose of this master's thesis is to investigate whether the already existing techniques for automatic indexing are suited for the new information retrieval context on the web and how the choice to support these techniques, or not, affects the search results. This is examined through a literature study on automatic indexing and other related concepts, such as information retrieval and information searching on the web in order to get a theoretical frame to the work and by an observation of the search engine HotBot to approach the purpose of the thesis. The observation is carried out by searching HotBot's database and investigating the search results in order to try to identify patterns that can reveal something about how HotBot's automatic indexing is done.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how employees in the financial sector perceive the leadership behaviors of middle managers, and if these perceptions differ depending on the manager's gender and if so, in what way. The study is based on a social constructivist perspective and theories of gendered organizational structures. It is based on 15 semi-structured interviews with employees who have either female or male middle managers from different companies in the Swedish financial sector. The results show that gender often acts as a framework for how leadership is evaluated and understood. Female middle managers are frequently associated with relationship-oriented qualities.

The topic of this essay is information seeking for children and young people in municipal libraries. This is based in the growing need for information seeking skills in the Information Society. Policy documents on the topic are scrutinized and related to a concrete praxis. Data has been collected through two case studies; one carried out in Ronneby and one in Trandared, Borås. These cases where chosen because of the existence of a local policy for library skills and information search for 6 to 12-year-olds.

By using patent information, companies are able to get a picture of what is already done in their area of interest. The main purpose of the study is to examine the information use in small and medium-sized enterprises that are members of the Swedish Inventor?s Association, focusing on patent information. The study examines the use of patent information and which barriers the companies have to patent information.

För organisationer som hanterar känslig information är god informationssäkerhet en nödvändighet för att upprätthålla trovärdigheten och kunna bedriva verksamheten effektivt. Vi har därför valt att i denna uppsats undersöka hur statliga myndigheter som hanterar skyddsvärd information arbetar för att uppnå god informationssäkerhet. För att undersöka detta har vi gjort en fallstudie på två statliga svenska myndigheter där vi genom intervjuer och dokumentation har kartlagt hur myndigheterna skyddar sin information utifrån fysisk, logisk och administrativ säkerhet. Resultatet av undersökningen visar att myndigheterna skyddar sin känsliga information genom att använda sig av såväl administrativa och logiska som fysiska skyddsåtgärder. Undersökningen har också visat att myndigheterna till en tillfredsställande hög grad kan skydda den känsliga information de hanterar.

The acquisition, organization and storage of information in combination with a strategic use, is today an important factor for a successful organisation in any sector of our society.In this Master thesis I have studied how an organisation such as The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (Svenskt Näringsliv) handles its information resources. I have also looked at the flow of information within the organization. The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise is Sweden?s largest business federation representing 50 member organizations and 55 000 member companies.

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to examine what needs and expectations the patrons have on the local public library services for adult students. With increased knowledge of these matters the library will be able to support and improve the service for users. The focus is on adult students with immigrant background who study Swedish as second language in a municipal adult education school. The main questions are: How do adult students use the library at present? What do they consider to be most important when using the public library for their studies? How do these expectations correspond to their experience of the library services? Two focusgroups and one in-depth interview were carried out.
