The collective agreement contains many important provisions concerning the relationship between employers and employees. When a collective agreement applies in the workplace, both employers and employees are bound by it. However, only employers of those two, can take part in the collective agreement, and therefore negotiate the content of it.The purpose of this study is to answer the following question: Why are rules that has been interpreted in collective agreements not expressed in writing? Therefore, the Swedish collective agreement system will be examined, and a distinction between types of silent regulations will be made to find causes. The potential for workers to act on a collective agreement with quiet regulations will also be examined.Collective agreements are signed on three levels: central, union and local levels.

Our purpose in this paper is to examine if there is any profitability for a company with a factory in the timber industry to invest in a combined heat and power, CHP. Based on analysis and the results that the paper generates, we will give Derome AB a suggestion on how it is a profitable investment or not to installing in a CHP.By investing in a CHP plant, you can get a high efficiency, which means that companies can use their resources more effectively. The Swedish wood industry has by-products of production that can be used for combustion in their boiler which is an advantage.The essay is a qualitative study where we have a case company, Derome AB. In this company, we interviewed two employees who have knowledge in the study. They have helped us to provide information and data about their business.We chose to use the pay-off- and the net present value method, NPV, to see if there are profitable advantages for the investment.

Bäst före 2014 : En studie om matsvinn i livsmedelsbutiker

SyfteVårt syfte är att ge en djupare förståelse för det matsvinn som uppstår i livsmedelsbutiker genom att analysera och utreda servicelandskapets, personalens och kundens påverkan på matsvinn. Med koppling till detta syfte har vi valt följande forskningsfråga:På vilka sätt kan livsmedelsbutiker arbeta för att minimera sitt matsvinn med hänsyn till butikernas lönsamhet och kundnöjdhet? MetodDenna uppsats är en kvalitativ studie som haft sin början i ett empiriskt problem som vi ville skapa en djupare förståelse kring, vilket innebär att vår uppsats haft sin början i induktionen. Under processens gång har vi arbetat parallellt med empiri och teori, därför har studien haft ett växelspel mellan induktion och deduktion. Insamlingen av material har skett genom primära och sekundära källor där det empiriska materialet skett genom semistrukturerade intervjuer.SlutsatserI vår arbetsprocess har vi kunnat urskilja att servicelandskapet, personalen och kunden är de faktorer som påverkar matsvinnet inom dagligvaruhandeln.

Välkommen till familjen! : En studie om effekten av en stark företagskulturs påverkan på medarbetarnas identitet

The purpose of this study is to examine in what way a strong corporate culture can have an effect on the ways that individuals perceive their own identity based on different social aspects, thereby meaning the influence of personalities in relation to the environment. In this essay I have used the theory of employer branding in an analysis of the corporate culture at Ikea Barkarby, with the purpose to answer the following questions: How does the relation between the employee and the corporate culture appear from an identity perspective, i.e can an individual?s identity be affected by the influence of a strong corporate culture? If the corporate culture has an influence on the individual?s identity, what rhetorical tools are part of this? How can the surrounding corporate cultures possibly influence the employee?s process of becoming a part of the corporate culture? The method of research that was used in this study is a framing analysis and a semistructured interview method. In the discussion of the influence of social environment on identity I have used the rhetorical term doxa. The material that was examined was an advertisement for employment from the Ikea Barkarby website as well as the response from my interviews of some of the employees.The result of the analysis shows that it is possible for an individual to negotiate with himself about his identity in relation to the actual situation and environment, meaning a possible transformation of the individual?s behavior in different social contexts, in this example the corporate culture at work.

Skolutveckling via inspektion? : En effektstudie av erfarenheterna från nationell samt internationell forskning

Den aktuella studien bygger på en kvalitativ innehållsanalys med en analytisk induktion. I undersökningen har den aktuella forskningssituationen kring skolinspektion granskats. Källmaterialet bygger på nationell såväl som internationell forskning, som undersökt effekter och bieffekter som är förenade med inspektion. Med utgångspunkt i forskningssituationen har även föräldrars, lärares samt skolledares åsikter kring inspektionen undersökts. Vidare har möjligheterna till att verkliggöra skolutveckling via inspektion undersökts.

Skatteeffekter vid avyttring av aktier i fåmansföretag : En studie av de nya 3:12-reglerna

Från och med den 1 januari 2006 har skattereglerna för ägarna av fåmansbolag förändrats i och med införandet av nya 3:12-regler. Med de gamla reglerna var det oftast mest lönsamt att ta ut företagets överskott som en kapitalvinst genom avyttring av aktier. I och med införandet av de nya reglerna har det givits en större möjlighet än tidigare att ta ut bolagets överskott som lågbeskattad utdelning. Andra nyheter är att klyvningsräntan har höjts, löneunderlaget har fått större inverkan på gränsbeloppet och dessutom har kapitalvinstbeskattningen sänkts till 20 procent.Uppsatsen belyser de nya reglerna, jämfört med de gamla. Vi har urskiljt de företagsledare som gynnas av de nya reglerna vid en försäljning av bolag då en kapitalvinst uppstår som ska beskattas.

In this paper I make research into how knowledge transfer and learning occur at Metso Paper Karlstad AB, which is a partly project based organization.The result is that there are many factors that affect the knowledge transfer in a company. Knowledge transfer occurs mainly between individuals within the company, but also between departments and other actors outside the company. In the gaps between these actors, there is a risk that knowledge is not transferred, which is an obstacle to learning. A great deal of the knowledge transfer and the learning is carried out through individual?s own drive and motivation.
