To be able to feel a sense of belonging, people need to have the possibility to take part of the information from the society. Hearing-impaired don?t have the same possibility as hearing people when they want to take part of the information, therefore they don?t get the same benefit. This contributes to a feeling of not belonging and a sense of limitation in different social occasions. Therefore the society needs to be accessible to everyone regardless disability.

A vehicle that carries a person sitting in a wheelchair has been rebuilt. The original vehicle was provided with a petrol engine, hydrostatic drive and a mechanical steering rod, making it noisy and hard to maneuver. The purpose with this project was to convert the vehicle to make it more environmental and easier to drive.A new design has been proposed where an electrical drive has replaced the noisy combustion engine and an electrical motor with joystick control has replaced the manual steering.The project was divided into two parts. One mechanical part where the construction of the drive and steering were to be decided. The other part involved programming the microprocessor and implementation of all the necessary electrical for the control system of the vehicle.

Goda möjligheter till rörelse och medveten motorisk träning skapar goda möjligheter för barn att utveckla motoriska färdigheter, vilket kan leda till bättre skolprestationer. Forskning visar att dagens stillasittande aktiviteter så som tv, surfplattor och datorer m.m. har negativ inverkan på hälsan och kan leda till en rad olika negativa hälsoeffekter. Denna studie fokuserar på pedagogers medvetenhet, syn och kunskap angående barns motoriska utveckling samt hur de arbetar för att stimulera förskolebarnen till att utveckla goda motoriska färdigheter. Metoden som använts i undersökningen är semistrukturerade intervjuer med sex stycken förskollärare.

Completing this study I have used the method induction with qualitative personal interviews. Artificiell intelligens (AI) är en stor del i dagens datorspel. För att få inblick i komplexiteten runt AI i spelutveckling och för att förstå delar som AI består av har detta projekt genomförts. Målet var att skapa en AI-motor från grunden med bra grundplattform som är enkel att bygga vidare på. Innan projektet startade utfördes en förundersökning där olika alternativ för kartrepresentationer och grafsökningsalgoritmer togs fram. Utvecklingen av AI-motorn har haft ett starkt beroende till projektet där en spelmotor utvecklats av Niklas Ekman och Christian Mesch.

Examensarbetet var en utvärdering av en synkron trefas permanentmagnetmotor med utvändig rotor. Den är tänkt att ingå i ett batterimatat drivsystem för hjälputrustning på segelbåtar. Målen var att kartlägga prestandan i standardutförande samt att hitta de svaga punkterna i konstruktionen. Förslag på hur motorutförandet kan optimeras ska också läggas fram. Tester och mätningar gjordes i en testuppkoppling med växelriktare, motor och axelkopplad generator. Detta för att kunna få fram fler mätvärden på motorn.

Consumption of fossil fuels harms our environmental through formation of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. To get under control with our environmental issues it?s important to find substitutes for oil that are both cheap and environmentally friendly. Ethanol has a long history as a motor fuel and is both enviromentally friendly has a high efficiency.According to the EU commissions directives for motor fuels, 5, 75 % of all the fuels in Sweden should be renewable in 2010.

Optimizing of the material handling will give the company higher cost-effectiveness. Around the robot there are different kinds of material flows, to optimize the cycle time, consisting of carriages combined in different ways.Motion Control is a complex system with main functions such as; positioning, synchronizing, indexing and more. The products in the system need to cooperate to make these functions possible therefore integration of motor- and servo products are important.

För att kontinuerligt bibehålla ett flygplan i ett säkert och luftvärdigt tillstånd så krävs både stora och små ingenjörsmässiga åtgärder, ur drift- och underhållssynpunkt. En av de större åtgärderna är att byta ut motorn på ett flygplan till en starkare motor för att förbättra prestandan, vilket leder till att i synnerhet få en kortare startsträcka. Det här examensarbetet behandlar just en sådan modifiering, nämligen ett motorbyte på en Cessna 172. Flygplanets nuvarande motor är utsatt för korrosion och måste snart bytas. Då skulle det kunna vara lämpligt att byta till en starkare motor för att förbättra startprestandan.

Handling of animals during anaesthesia is an important field in the profession as a veterinary nurse and in which intubation is an essential part. Hence, adequate knowledge is necessary for the welfare of the animal. The objective of this literature study was to make it useful and trustworthy for veterinary nurses. It is intended to describe and summarize existing scientificity with its benefits and disadvantages within the different areas of intubation techniques and alternative methods of inhalation anaesthetic supplementation for general anaesthesia in rabbits. Endotracheal intubation in rabbits can be complicated and technically demanding due to the anatomy of the oropharynx including the narrowness of this structure, a relatively large tongue, large incisors and a limited mobility of the temperomandibular joint. The obstructed visualization of larynx and the rabbit?s tendency to develop laryngospasm contributes to the difficulty of intubation. Rabbits are susceptible to tracheal injury and multiple intubation attempts can cause tracheal lesions due to repeated damage to the tracheal mucous membrane, although damage can occur after a single intubation attempt as well. An ETT (endotracheal tube) with or without a cuff can be used during orotracheal intubation in rabbits.

Unevenvoltages between series-connected capacitors is a phenomenon caused by vary-ing capacitance. A configuration containing Maxwell?s 56V module is createdand constitutes the power reserve in the simulations.The discharge simulation shows a significant current that could damagethe system.
