The aim of this study is to examine what social workers consider as ?challenging behaviour? among adolescents, but also to examine the connection between investigation and intervention in cases where such behaviour is being displayed. The questions of the study are to examine what social workers think of the instrument of assessment BBIC (Children?s Needs in Focus) and how the usage of BBIC affect social workers understanding of challenging behaviour. Moreover, it is a qualitative study and the respondents are all social workers with various length of professional experience who work with making decisions in juvenile welfare cases.

The purpose with this study is to enlighten and discuss the information and communication which is spreading through social media, about the tourist operators and also to examine the operators view on social media. Social media can be described as a tool to use word of mouth on the Internet. To make this possible, five actors involved in tourism were picked on Gotland and interviewed for a content analysis. The results showed that the use of social media as an information channel before the consumer buys a trip, has increased. The study also shows that the selected actors have a lot of work to do, before they understand how to use the social media in their best interest for further developing their companies.

During the 90s most companies organized and adopted routines for their environmental work. This work included for example eco-efficiency improvements and the introduction of environmental managing systems. At the UN conference in Rio in 1992 the concept Sustainable development was defined, but it was not until about the year of 2000 that companies in Sweden shifted their work from environmental management to sustainable management. A consequence of this is that they now have to focus on environmental aspect in conjunction with social and economic aspects.The purpose of this study is to gain understanding of what a change of focus to sustainable development means for companies. Has the environmental work suffered in the competition with social/economical aspects under the new sustainable focus? How will the new way of working affect the balance between environmental and social aspects? Changes were studied in five companies by analysing their annual-, environmental- and sustainability reports and through interviews of sustainable managers.

Föreliggande studie inriktar sig på hur jag som student i en viss kulturell och social struktur påverkas inlärningsmässigt och uttrycksmässigt i musikundervisningen av att komma till en musikalisk miljö där andra kulturella och sociala strukturer är normativa. Studien är etnografiskt inspirerad och utgår från en statisk-dynamisk analysteknik där videoinspelningar och loggboksanteckningar ligger till grund för det insamlade material som analyseras. Resultatet behandlar de aktiviteter som spelat stor roll, både negativt och positivt, i min musikaliska, sociala och personlighetsmässiga utveckling och beskriver också hur dessa aktiviteter förändras under studiernas gång. De aktiviteter som spelat stor roll under utlandsstudierna är främst mina trumpetlektioner, med kommunikation, teknik och musikaliska uttryck som underrubriker, det sociala livet i och utanför skolan och min musikaliska resa utanför skolan. I diskussionen tar jag bland annat upp den förvirring och frustration som mina trumpetlektioner skapade och hur mina inledande ensamhetskänslor låg till grund för min personliga utveckling.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka hur några pedagoger, som arbetar med barn i autismspekrat, uppfattade hur barnen/ eleverna utvecklades fysiskt, kunskapsmässigt och socialt genom relationen till hästar och ridning. Fyra pedagoger har intervjuats, en observation som fullständig observatör har genomförts och innehållet i två hästböcker har studerats. Dessa hästböcker är en individuell dokumentation för varje elev och ridtillfälle som görs i en speciell bok i ord och bild av medföljande pedagog. De intervjuade pedagogerna uppfattade att deras elever med autism utvecklas positivt genom att vistas i stallet och genom att rida. Mest framträdande är att de utvecklas fysiskt men också att de utvecklar initiativ och kommunikationsförmåga. Vidare visar studien att genom att vara i stallet med dess rutiner som skapar en struktur för barnen med autism så mår de väl och blir harmoniska.

Bakgrund: Dagkirurgiska operationer har ökat de senaste tjugo åren. Fler och sjukare patienter blir opererade dagkirurgiskt och förväntas sköta och ta ansvar för sin egenvård i hemmet. Det ställer krav på sjukvården att patienten får undervisning och information i tillräckligt utsträckning för att klara detta. Syfte: Att beskriva dagkirurgiska patienters erfarenheter av postoperativ information om egenvård. Metod: En kvalitativ litteraturöversikt baserad på 11 vetenskapliga originalartiklar.

The aim of this study is to through six interviews, with six experienced, social workers?, in three cities, understand how the child?s position in the Swedish child protective services? enquiries has change, and the factors behind it. The aim is also to compare if the social workers? view of the child?s position in the enquire has change accordingly to Socialstyrelsens intentions of BBIC. The theoretical approaches that was used is the new institutionalism, the Shier?s pathways to participation and the term discretion.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att studera hur socialsekreterare arbetar med aktivering av försörjningsstödstagare och vilka faktorer som påverkar arbetet med aktiveringen. Materialet för studien består av fyra intervjuer med socialsekreterare som arbetar med ekonomiskt bistånd i en kommun i Sverige. Resultaten visar att aktivering av arbetslösa försörjningsstödstagare utförs i form av jobbaktivering eller resursaktivering. Alla intervjuade socialsekreterare ser på aktivering som en bra och nödvändig åtgärd, som både har en stöttande och kontrollerande funktion med tyngdpunkt på stöd. Vidare visar resultaten att det finns faktorer på tre nivåer som påverkar arbete med aktivering:Samhällsnivå: Socialtjänstlagen, arbetsmarknaden, politiska beslut, skärpta regelverk, information och samverkan;Organisationsnivå: otydligt uppdrag, riktlinjer och kriterier; resursbrist, tidsbrist, arbetsbelastning, bristande samverkan, bristande information;Individnivå: socialsekreterarens erfarenhet och utbildning, syn på aktivering; klienteras utbildning, arbetslivserfarenheter, motivation, socialkompetens och eventuella individuell problematik, önskningar, mål och syn på framtid, tidigare erfarenheter av kontakt med socialtjänsten..

This study examines whether social media had an influence on the revolution in Egypt. Social media was an important tool for the revolution since the president Hosni Mubarak and the Egyptian regime strictly controls the media. However social media was not the determining factor for the revolution, the revolt evolved due to many underlying factors. Social media facilitated communication, made the mobilization effective and, spread information to the inhabitants and to the rest of the world. Syftet med arbetet är att söka förstå och beskriva hur formgivare förhåller sig till begreppet hållbar utveckling och hur det påverkar val och riktningar i formgivningsprocessen. Som formgivare finns det skäl att ifrågasätta motiven till nyproduktion i en tid då konsumtion och produktion ökar, samtidigt som miljöhot, ekonomiska och sociala orättvisor är påtagliga. Hållbar utveckling är målsättningen för Förenta nationernas globala arbete och handlingsplan Agenda 21. Svensk lagstiftning har sedan 1999 hållbar utveckling som målsättning i den så kallade Miljöbalken.Genom att intervjua tre formgivare om deras förhållningssätt till begreppet hållbar utveckling och ringa in yttre villkor för hållbar utveckling söktes syftet uppnås. Resultatet visar att begreppet rör sig i många olika former och det uppfattas personligt.

The aim for this study was to describe Social Physique Anxiety and Self-Efficacy in the school year of 7 and 9. To that the aim for this study was to describe if there was differences between girls and boys, but also between the school years, when it comes to the estimation of Social Physique Anxiety and Self-Efficacy. The method for this report was of statistic design, with a deductive methodology who was analysed and presented in. The empirical material was collected thru questionnaires where the level of information was of quantitative characteristics. The results from this study showed that girls estimate higher Social Physique Anxiety then the boys, in school year 7 and 9.

In this study, we have examined how Swedish tour operators are using social media as part of their marketing plan. Our purpose was to find out which strategies they use in the area of social marketing. The companies that were examined were Ving, Fritidsresor and Jambo tours, and the social network site that the research focused on was Facebook. The examination was conducted with a content analysis of the companies' Facebook pages and qualitative, structured interviews with the companies. The aim was to compare the various tour operators Facebook pages in order to get a broader overview of the companies marketing strategies.

In this report, a case study of conditions for Swedish language development in children of immigrant origin is presented, and its results explored. The boundaries of the case study are defined as preschool pedagogues? facilitation of Swedish language development through co-learning, in children of immigrant origin in an ethnically segregated urban area. Concepts central to the report include dialogue, second language learning and perspectives on language difficulties. For the theoretical background of the report, a basic sociocultural theorem is used, which links language as well as other areas of development to verbal interaction in a social context.

The aim with the study was, that through a qualitative research approach, to examine in which way social services employees perceive information about children with incarcerated fathers and how they furthermore relates to the child's right to both parents in these situations. Seven interviews were implemented with social workers in the Stockholm County to obtain informa-tion on the following questions; how the children's needs are noticed at the social services, how employees discuss the child's right to their incarcerated father and which possibilities and obstacles social workers experience to promote contact between the child and the father. The ecology of human development theory was used in the analysis. The conclusions are that chil-dren with incarcerated fathers seldom is noticed at the social services as a result of inadequate cooperation between authorities but also due to whether the social services should be respon-sible for the children. Furthermore, children always have the right to maintain contact with their incarcerated father, with exceptions for situations where physical or sexual abuse have occurred.
