Syfte: Att analysera och utvärdera fyra utländska företag med inriktning på deras etableringsprocess vid etablering i Sverige.Metod: Uppsatsen är en kvalitativ studie, baserad på intervjuer, av fyra utländska företag som etablerat sig i Sverige.Urval: De fyra företag som ingår i undersökningen är Clean Chemical Sweden, Kemwell AB, Komatsu SweLog och Züblin Scandinavia AB med motiveringen att de på olika sätt etablerades i Sverige mellan åren 2001-2006 och arbetar huvudsakligen med business-to-business. Teoretiska perspektiv: De teoriområden som uppsatsen utgår från är etableringsteorier, internationaliseringsstrategier, management, consumer behaviour samt nationell- och företagskultur.Empiri: Uppsatsens empiri utgör en sammanställning av intervjuer med en person med VD-ställning från vardera av de fyra utländska företagen. Slutsatser: C.B. Fleet har låginvolverande produkter och etablerade sig i Sverige via Produktlivscykeln. Kemwell India och Züblin har båda höginvolverande produkter och etablerade sig i Sverige via IPmodellen.

Purpose: We have three purposes that will answer our problem questions. Our first purpose is to identify how diversification effects for investors changed between emerging markets and developed markets in the period 1996-2010. Our second purpose is to examine the two crises, IT and financial crisis, and if the correlations between these two crises have changed. Our third purpose is to examine to what extent the Swedish stock market was influenced by other markets in the period 1996-2010, the IT and financial crisis.Methodology: The method is based on an analytic model consisting of two tools; Regression- and Correlation analysis. The Regression analysis will be used when investigating if a change in a foreign stock market affects a change on the Swedish stock market.

The purpose of this essay is to highlight the factors that are important for a shift to a more equal and sustainable living.

Background: Hepatitis E (HEV) is a small, non-enveloped virus that belongs to the viral genus Hepevirus. HEV is a positive sense single-stranded RNA virus and there is insufficient information regarding its replication. This is mainly because the virus has low capacity to grow in normally used cell cultures. Many specific strand assay detection studies have been done in order to understand more about HEV replication. Unfortunately, these assays have the disadvantage of giving false positive results.Aim: The aim of this project was to improve the positive strand assay to increase specificity and eliminate false positivity which is due to high sensitivity of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR).

Surrogacy is an arrangement in which a woman carries, delivers, and then relinquishes a baby to commissioning parents. The arrangement challenges traditional norms and definitions of reproduction, pregnancy and motherhood, and at the same time raises difficult ethical, philosophical and social questions. There is currently an ongoing debate in Sweden, where all forms of surrogacy is illegal. The debate is polemical and harsh, with advocates arguing that surrogacy is defensible on the basis of individual rights and women's right to choose over their own bodies, and those in opposition are convinced on an intersectional basis that women are being used and exposed on the market of surrogacy.The purpose of this study is to investigate the debate on surrogacy in the Swedish context. Using qualitative text analysis, the study aims to increase understanding about the debate over surrogacy by analyzing texts published in Swedish press during 2010-2013.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att titta närmare på hur svenska företag angriper och bearbetar kulturella skillnader mellan Sverige och Indien. Frågor som hur dessa skillnader påverkar en företagsrelation och hur ett företag anpassar sig till dessa kommer att tas upp. I det teoretiska kapitlet så tas grunder om kultur upp samtidigt som skillnader mellan Sverige och Indien behandlas grundligt. Modeller kring anpassningskurvan, anskaffning av kulturell kompetens och Hofstedes model om de fem dimensionerna kring ett lands kultur. Hela uppsatsen genomsyras utav en stark fokus på kulturella inslag vid en etablering. Det empiriska kapitlet innehåller de svar som vi samlat in från de fyra intervjuer som vi haft, kapitlet är uppbyggt person för person och svaren kommer i den ordning de besvarats. Analyskapitlet jämför den teoretiska basen med den insamlade empirin från våra intervjuer.

Mankind faces a serious threat. Its activities, for example the burning of fossil fuels, have led to an enhancement of the greenhouse effect - something that has given rise to a global warming. The climate is becoming warmer, a change that has important effects on the nature as well as for humans and their society. Sea level rising, extreme temperatures are becoming more common, glaciers and other ice caps melt and storms becomes more intense when they appear. The main cause is the emission of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere - carbon dioxide in particular.

In this essay, the phenomenon and the concept "meditation" are treated. Meditation is a mental training technique where one develops the ability to choose where to put attention and ability to focus. Techniques for meditation is used individually of people who wants to develop themselves as persons and in therapeutic aims of professional within the field of psychology in order to help people to find solutions of problems within themselves. The aim with this essay were to do a qualitative study in order to see how possible effects of meditation influences daily life of contributory practisian's. Issue has been as follows; which effects have one regularly conducting of meditation on people and their lives? Interviews with four experienced meditators were done in India and the material were analyzed afterwards with the aid of thematic analysis, furthermore in order to link the results with clinical research and established theories about meditation.

The aim in this bachelor thesis is to describe and analyze ritual performance and transference of religious traditions in some Hindu homes in Varanasi (India). In particular from the children?s perspective. The curriculum of Religious Education in the Swedish schooling system focuses on religious life, expression and practice. Thus, this thesis is about ?lived Hinduism?, ritual performance and religious practices.

This study consists of a literature study and a survey in Tamil Nadu, India. The aim of the study was to get an understanding of horse feeding in tropical climates and what kind of feeding related problems that could occur because of the fodder. Information and data were collected from eight different stables and from Tamil Nadu University of Agriculture in the region of Tamil Nadu in March-April 2009. The horses in Tamil Nadu were given rice straw, unknown grass, Cynodon dactylon, lucerne, maize, Pennisetum glaucum x Pennisetum purpureum hybrid and Chloris gayana as roughage. As concentrates, the horses were given wheat bran, oats, barley, soybean meal, maize, carrots, coconut cake, peanut cake, horse gram and chick pea.

Today it is mainly small and medium sized companies that choose to outsource parts of their ITdepartment in order to increase and become great. It is becoming increasingly common forcompanies to take the help of competent suppliers so that they then can focus on their own corebusiness. These companies are taking advantage of modern methods to support systemdevelopment by outsourcing to other countries such as India. Choosing to outsource to othercountries poses new challenges for companies when they meet both cultural and organizationaldifferences. It requires a lot of time and planning and clear communication in order to developand reach the goal.

Travelling children is the topic of my work. Children who commute between more than one home. Society is rapidly changing and so is the concept â familyâ . The nuclear family is no longer the most common one. Children are now travelling more frequently than ever.

Den liberala ekonomiska globaliseringen har lett till att Indien öppnat upp sin ekonomi och landets politiker välkomnar idag utländska investeringar såsom multinationella företag i hopp om ekonomisk tillväxt. Då Coca Cola Company etablerade en fabrik i byn Plachimada i södra Indien medförde detta miljöproblem i form av vattenbrist och förgiftning, vilket i sin tur ledde till stora sociala problem för byns befolkning. Idag är fabriken stängd på grund av invånarnas långvariga och kollektiva protester i vilka byns kvinnor varit särskilt aktiva. Studiens syfte är att söka kunskap om hur Coca Cola Companys etablering i Plachimada liksom det kollektiva motståndet mot fabriken har påverkat identiteten hos de kvinnor som varit aktiva i motståndet. Syftet är vidare att skapa förståelse för hur kvinnorna ser på ?västvärlden? liksom på sig själva i förhållande till väst.

Bakgrund och problem: Inköpsfunktionen ökar i betydelse i takt med att konkurrensen från andra företag ökar. Inköpsfunktionen ser olika ut i olika företag. För att hålla låga priser är det många företag som väljer att importera produkter från lågkostnadsländer. För textilföretag är Indien ett bra alternativ då de på grund av långa traditioner anses vara duktiga på textilproduktion. De har billig arbetskraft och stora råvarutillga?ngar.

Det här arbetet är en magisteruppsats inom företagsekonomi. Studien behandlar samarbetsrelationer mellan svenska bornglobalföretag och indiska partner på plats i Indien utifrån en kulturell aspekt. Utgångspunkten är de svenska bornglobalföretagens perspektiv.Studiens objekt: Vi har fyra studieobjekt: Indpro AB är ett företag inom IT-branschen, Duràn Textiles AB och JMQ Sarees är företag inom olika delar av textilbranschen, Swedasia Travels HB är ett företag inom resebranschen. Alla fyra företag är svenska små bornglobalföretag som har nära samarbete med Indien på olika sätt.Studiens syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att analysera vilka kulturella betingelser svenska bornglobalföretag stöter på i samarbetet med indiska aktörer och hur de svenska företagen hanterar dessa.Metod: Arbetet är baserat på en kvalitativ undersökning. Undersökningen gjordes med fyra fallföretag som utgör studiens objekt.
