This master thesis aims to examine the process of indexing fiction when it comes to area of sexuality and gender identity. The empiric work that forms the basis of the thesis are three investigations:(a) examining the current status of indexing fiction within the catalogues of six Swedish medium-sized libraries;(b) interviewing librarians who allocate the subject headings; and(c) an analysis of the Swedish subject heading system Att indexera skönlitteratur.This will be concluded with an analysis of the gathered material through queer theoretic standpoint with the help of critical classification and its Inclusion through separation, and marginalization where subjects that differs from the norm is included but only by being separated from the norm, or ignored totally. This will show that there are similarities with how different groups get treated within the classification systems and how they are treated in subject heading indexing. An example of this in Att indexera skönlitteratur is that heterosexuality never is mentioned in the subject heading but is always present as the silent norm, while gender identity is marginalized through exclusion of the subject heading, and related words are instead being included under sexual identity..

Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva och analysera hur läraren och elevassistenten arbetar för att skapa inkludering, av elever som läser enligt särskolans läroplan, i en ordinarie gymnasieklass. Vi har med hjälp av de kvalitativa forskningsmetoderna, deltagande observationer och intervjuer, samlat data för att beskriva och analysera hur det inkluderande arbetet ser ut på en Waldorfskola. I studien har vi undersökt hur läraren och elevassistenten skapar goda möjligheter för inkludering. Vi har även undersökt hur läraren och elevassistenten arbetar vid genomgångar och instruktioner i klassrummet samt hur de planerar, utvärderar samt reflekterar kring den inkluderande skolmiljön. De slutsatser och resultat som vi har kunnat dra är att när en skola anser att alla elevers olikheter berikar skolan så är arbetet med inkludering inte något ansträngande och svårt utan något naturligt..

The cause of fibromyalgia has long been unknown but recent studies has shown that disturbance in the central pain modulation may be the cause. The aim of the study was to examine what kind of physiotherapy and close related treatment methods in the treatment of fibromyalgia there are and to determine their evidence. Articles were obtained by searching through the databases PubMed, Academic Search, AMED/Webspirs, CINAHL/webspirs and PEDro for articles published from 1994 and ten years forward. The study was based on thirty articles that met the criteria for Inclusion. To assess the quality of the clinical studies the SBU?s evaluation model was used.

Syftet med den här studien är att analysera hur styrdokument och resurser används i specialundervisning i ämnet idrott och hälsa. För att möjliggöra detta studerades verksamheten på två olika skolor. Utsagor från skolledare och lärare samt observationer av lärare i undervisningssituationen ligger som grund för studien. Materialet i studien omfattar två skolledare och två idrottslärare. I studien har vi valt att utgå från läroplansteori för att se hur de olika skolorna organiserar specialundervisningen.

This study investigates a Swedish educational project aimed to incorporate young people with intellectual disabilities into the labor market through internship. This qualitative interview study was conducted with six of the project student?s internship supervisors. The purpose of this study is thus to examine the motives behind the decision to take on a trainee from the program at the workplace. In addition, the study also aims to examine whether and how dif-ferent factors of the workplace affect the trainee?s opportunities for social Inclusion in the workplace.

The efficacy of screening for breast cancer with mammography has been a subject of controversy during the last decades. However, the general opinion is now that screening reduces mortality in breast cancer (Zackrisson, 2006). It is nevertheless important to weigh the efficacy against the harm and costs associated with screening. Cost-utility and cost-effectiveness analysis of screening have generally failed to incorporate side effects such as anxiety and discomfort related to screening tests and the following diagnostic tests (Gyrd-Hansen, 2000). This study seeks to include such side effects in a cost-utility analysis.

This paper explores the accessibility for patrons with different physical disabilities in regards to materials, service, the library building and its website at two typical, medium-sized public libraries in Sweden.The case study is based on interviews, observations, and document and literature studies. As a theoretical framework for this study, Buckland?s model of information barriers is used to describe, discuss and evaluate how the two libraries work with accessibility. In addition, international and national guidelines are used to measure whether additional actions are required of the libraries to improve the accessibility.The results show that both libraries are well suited in various respects to provide for the different needs and the requirements of patrons with physical disabilities. Some obstacles still exist in both libraries, especially in the lack of literature in accessible formats in different languages.

Every human being has the right to the highest attainable standard of health. This is regulated by the UN in the Declaration of Human Rights. However, Swedish legislation discriminate the group of irregular immigrants, regarding the right to health care. Therefore, Paul Hunt, the UN's special rapporteur on the right to health, draws serious critique on Sweden which has caused extensive debate regarding the matter, both in the civil and political sphere of society.Thus, the aim of this essay is through an analysis of the political debate; make visible the norms of citizenship which are dominating the argumentation of the seven parties represented in the Swedish Parliament. An analytical framework, consisting of three dimensions, is therefore used in order to interpret the material which is relevant for the debate.The conclusion is that Moderaterna and Centerpartiet mainly base their arguments on communitarian values, while Kristdemokraterna and Folkpartiet rather show influences of liberal ideas.

Studien syftar till att undersöka hur särbegåvade elever i matematik upplever sig inkluderade i matematikundervisningen. Inkludering har i studien betraktats ur tre aspekter, rumslig, social och didaktisk. Undersökningen har genomförts genom att sex lärare har intervjuats och därefter tretton av deras elever. Det är elever som lärarna uppfattat som särbegåvade i matematik.Lärarna har motiverat sina urval av elever med hjälp av egna kriterier, som till stor del kan kännas igen i Krutetskiis förmågor, med vilka han beskriver de särbegåvade eleverna.Eleverna upplever att de är rumsligt och socialt inkluderade i den matematikundervisning som de varit del av under sin tid i grundskolan. Däremot finns det indikationer på att flera elever inte alltid känt sig inkluderade didaktiskt, de upplever inte att de fått arbeta med uppgifter som är avpassade för dem.                                                                                 .

The overall aim of this case study is to find the conditions for pupils in the nine-year compulsory school with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who are instructed in the ordinary classroom. The study explores what kind of support the schools offer these pupils. The study also examines the views of the teachers´, special educators´, principals´ and municipal representatives on what kind of support these pupils need and ought to be offered.The methods used were qualitative interviews and a questionnaire study.The theoretical basis of the study is the three different perspectives of special pedagogy. These perspectives represent three different views on the disorders of pupils.The overall result shows that the municipality offers little support for schools. The study shows that there is little collaboration between schools and ASD-specific support outside school.

According to both national and international political regulations, the school should as far as it is possible include students with special needs in regular education. However, when implementing these political intentions regarding an including school environment, problems often arise. The aim of this studie has been to investigate the opinions of teachers and students when it comes to inclusive education in mathematics. The study has partly been based on interviews with students with special needs in mathematics. These students were included in regular mathematics groups.

This study presents some teachers' views on whether today's school is a school for everybody or not. It has also looked into what special resources that are put in for children in special needs. The purpose of this study is to find out some teachers' views and thoughts on the concept of "an Education for everybody" and how these teachers said they worked with children in special needs. After taking part of and processed recent research results and literature, I chose to examine this through qualitative interviews. I interviewed three teachers, one primary school teacher, one special education teacher and one preschool teacher.The conclusions were that the concept of education could be understood in different ways.
