This project concentrates on musicians who work in a professional music studio.The task of this project was to design a new headphone system called Foldback system.The advantage of this system is that all involved in a music project could influence their ownlistening during the project. IPv6 har, till skillnad från tidigare versioner av protokollet, inbyggt stöd för redundans hos gatewayenheter. Vid nyttjande av ett flertal gatewayenheter kan det, med hjälp av Neighbor Unreachability Detection, ske automatisk övergång till en ny gatewayenhet utifall att den aktiva skulle gå ur funktion. Innan IPv6 har man varit tvungen att förlita sig på externa lösningar för att uppnå denna redundans. Den huvudsakliga fråga som ställs i rapporten är om det inbyggda stödet för gatewayredundans i IPv6 är tillräckligt snabbt för att kunna nyttjas självständigt, utan att förlita sig på externa lösningar. För att kunna ta fram ett värde om vad som var ?tillräckligt snabbt? har vi, genom att läsa tidigare forskning om användares upplevelse av fördröjningar, kommit fram till att en fördröjning ej får överstiga tio sekunder.

Utredning har utförts hos Smurfit Kappa Kraftliner - Systemteknik i Piteå för att närmare undersöka prestandan hos det styrsystem, AC800F från ABB, de idag använder. Tester av minnesutrymmet och processorlasten hos AC800F har utförts för att ge större trygghet hos processingenjören genom bättre kännedom om prestanda och beteende hos systemet. En sammanställning har skapats som innefattar minnes- och processorbelastnings data hos de mest använda funktionerna. Jämförelsen mellan det inbyggda optimeringsverktyget, Selftune och det inköpta verktyget DUR visade större skillnad än väntat. I tabell 5 och 6 jämförs de båda verktygen använda på samma system och med samma mätvärden.

Där finns många experiment som besökare kan prova på, samt montrar som visar hur olika tekniska och maskinella apparater fungerar. Till utställningen och öppnandet sommaren 2009 ville de ha två nya demonstratorer. I rapporten kallas dem för reaktionstidsväggen och baklängesprataren. In order to reduce the price for, and improve the performance of automatic control systems for magnetization of synchronus generators, the possibilities of using a PC based software PLC system, Programmable Logic Controller, has been investigated. The result is a system based on the CoDeSys software PLC with runtime environment from 3S-Software, communicating with external units via Modbus fieldbus. System price is reduced from ?5000 to ?2000 and system processing speed is reduced from 10 ms for a Siemens S7 PLC to 4 ms with the CoDeSys PLC system though unsolved problems with runtime seizure caused by improper settings in the PC BIOS..

Målet med examensarbetet var att undersöka om det var möjligt att genomett kompatibilitetsbibliotek se till att Eneas realtidsoperativsystem OSEckkan uppfylla kraven i operativsystemsstandarden OSEK.OSEck visade sig tillhandahålla all efterfrågad funktionalitet och ett kompatibilitetsbiblioteksom innehöll OSEK?s API kunde därmed implementeras.Ett verktyg togs fram för att utifrån en fil, innehållandes objekt beskrivna iOSEK?s konfigurationsspråk OIL, plocka ut den information som behövdesf¨or att konfigurera både OSEck och OSEK.Slutsatsen av examensarbetet blev att det gick att göra OSEck OSEKkompatibeltgenom ett yttre lager och att inga ändringar i OSEck?s kärnavar nödvändiga. In this thesis a transport system is sought after thatif realised in the city of Uppsala could provide bothwell-being to all its inhabitants and sustainability,here jointly refered to as liveability. It is found thatthe car dominated transport system that is inoperation today provides two fundamental values,namely accessibility in both time and space, whichsets it apart from other transport solutions. Thesetwo values are of immense importance for theliveability in our modern world. On the other handthe car dominated system decreases the liveabilityof Uppsala in several different ways. Some of theseproblems, it is argued, could be solved within thecar system, through the adoption of moreenvironmentally friendly cars etc., but otherproblems are inherent in the car system and willremain no matter what changes are made.

This increases the stress on the existing poles and for this reason the system for supplying the loads along the railway is to be removed from the poles and be replaced by some other system. Detta examensarbete har utförts i samarbete med Löfqvist Engineering i Örebro. Uppgiften har varit att utföra en simulering av en stor automatiserad produktionslina som ska användas vid tillverkning av avgassystem till lastbilar. Utifrån denna simulering skall exakta cykeltider för produktionen bestämmas. Dessa tider kan sedan användas av Löfqvist Engineering för att verifiera tidigare uppskattade tider.Arbetet inkluderar en litteraturstudie om Lean Production och hur det fungerar ihop med automation. Det finns även med lite bakgrundsinformation om Just In Time, olika filformat och robotsimulering i allmänhet för att ge en bättre överblick av ämnet.Programmet som har valts för att utföra simuleringen är Tecnomatix Process Simulate och den inbyggda Line Simulation modulen.

This paper discuss the possibilities to improve the Swedish political nomination system. It brings up some of the values and norms that can be used to change the existing system. Values as openness, the demand of responsibility and also if there is values from the American spoils system that can be used in the Swedish system. A minor purpose is to discuss the part of the parliament within the nomination process. To investigate this I have some theoretical starting points and a self constructed analysis tool.

Human-computer interaction is central for computer assisted development. The aim was to investigate the user experience of a new (U2) compared to an old (U1) computer system, within a cognitive psychology frame of reference. Six subjects, frequently using the system, participated in the study. It was shown that the new (U2) compared to the old system (U1) enhanced and supported more the users? system related procedures/tasks.

Under 2009 och 2010 har det varit mycket upprördhet kring Västtrafik i media. Upprördheten har sin grund i att många resor har drabbats av förseningar till följd av de stränga väderförhållanden som de senaste vintrarna har förknippats med. Bussresenärer får inte information i samband med trafikstörningar och det skapar olika sorter av problem. Allt från att man blir försenad till att man tycker illa om Västtrafik. Många av resenärerna har en smartphone och skulle därför kunna få information i samband med trafikstörningar.

An automatic control system for calibration of pressure indicators has been constructed. This control system can be used as a complement to the calibration system located at AerotechTelub, division MainPartner, in Linköping. The calibration system used today contains some not wanted pressure changes, which is compensated by hand today. The new system presented in this report automates the calibrating process and simplifies the calibration. Suitable hardware as motor, controls card and so on have been found and software in the form of Visual Basic program has been developed.
