Författarna har kommit fram till att små innovativa banker kan omorganisera sina resurser genom en urvalshändelse eller ett strategiskt val så att dynamiska förmågor uppstår. Dessa dynamiska förmågor påverkar i sin tur och kan även utgöra kritiska resurser som föder förmågorna; innovations-, produktions- och marknadsledningsförmåga. Jag har studerat Gatukontoret i Malmö stad och dess projektorganisation. Syftet är att studera vilka styrförutsättningar som är gäller för en projektorganisation i kommunal förvaltning samt att analysera hur dessa styrförutsättningar påverkar projektstyrningen. Jag har använt en kvalitativ metod, där jag har besökt Gatukontoret och utfört muntliga intervjuer med medarbetarna där. Mina slutsatser är att Gatukontoret organisationsstruktur är en viktig styrförutsättning samt det faktum att det är en kommunal organisation. Bland annat genom ansvarsfördelning och ledningens filosofi etableras viktiga styrförutsättningar..

To understand and explain how the borderland between civil and corporate societies areconstructed and reproduced in the organisations subjectivity. I want to study the navigationsand interpretations of the different actors in the field in an explorative manner.? How do the leaders of the organisations interpret governing and strategic management? Whatconcepts are used? How is the leadership constructed?How do they discuss the demands of management and structure coming from outside theorganisations? How are the organisations shaped by accountability and normative conceptions of leadership?What is their view on the demands coming from within the organisations? What role does thedemocratic governance body have in relation to the employees and the management?What is their view on employment, relations with trade unions and employer associations andthe managerial position of the organisations?The Swedish context with strong emphasis on membership and democratic rights for themembers and volunteers has not gained a large impact on the international researchconcerning non-profit management. Instead the service delivering organisations working withgovernment contract and hired recruiters and volunteer management is in focus. This makes ita very interesting area of research.

Sammanfattningsvis har vi kommit fram till att kvinnor påverkas av medieidealet i större utsträckning än män. Detta med anledning av tidigt satta könsrollsförväntningar som än idag tydligt framkommer i reklam. Vår studie visar att kvinnor upplever en större rädsla för att inte kunna leva upp till förväntningar skapade av media. Vi märker att män hyllar kvinnliga skönhetsideal samtidigt som de för egen del förhåller sig mer distansierat till ideal satta i reklam..

Sweden is known to be one of the world?s most equal countries. Nevertheless, out  of  Sweden?s 262 listed companies, only seven  of  them  has  a  female  president, which  is  equal  to  3,4  percent. To  counteract  these  numbers  there  are  several  possibilities.  One  arrangement  that  is  highly  controversial     is  affirmative  actions.  But  there  are  other  options,  for  instance  more  and  more female  networks  are  starting  to  rise  and  many  of  them  also  offers  a  mentoring  program  where  the  mentee  gets  the  opportunity  to  learn  from  someone  with  more  experience.The  purpose  of  this  study  is  to  examine  what  difference  the  female  network  Q80,  with  focus  on  its  mentoring  program,  is  doing  for  the  mentee.  As  an  underlying  purpose  the  study  is  also  examining  what  visions  and  attitudes  the  management  and  the  mentors  is  communicating  within  Q80.  The  focus  is  mainly  on  the  visions  of  Q80,  menas  mentors  and  business  exceeding mentorship.  A  survey  has  been  carried  out  among  mentees  from  three  different  seats of mentoring  programs  where  they  have  answered  19  different  questions  regarding  their  time  as  a  mentee.  Furthermore  interviews  have  taken  place  with the management  of Q80  and  two  mentors.  The  results  are  analyzed  based  on  theories  about  gender,  women  in   management,  leadership,  mentoring  program  and  organizational structure.  The  result  shows  that  Q80i  as  a  source  of  inspiration  and  a  support  for  the  category  of  "career  women"  with  its  core  mission  to  strengthen  the  participation of  individuals  on  a  personal  level  more than  to  work  to  even  out  the  gap  in  the  Swedish  labor market.

The aim of this study in social work was to investigate Swedish part-time sex workers' experiences of selling sex, of the Swedish Prohibition of Purchase of Sexual Services Act, of people's attitudes toward selling and buying sexual services and the consequences thereof. In the analysis the Erving Goffman stigma theories were used.Three part-time sex workers described their day-to-day experiences of selling sex as well as holding an ordinary job. None of them experienced that the Prohibition of Purchase of Sexual Services Act had an immediate effect on them in their work, what bothered them most was the attitudes toward sex work from society, friends and relatives. The negative attitude forced them to live a double life. None of the sex workers had the impression that the legislation had any concrete effects on their customers.

The study set out to find how artists organize and use their personal collections from a Personal Information Management (PIM) perspective, and how that use affects their practice and their art production. A secondary object of the study was to articulate the ways that personal collections are utilized as tools by creative users.  The empirical data consisted of five qualitative, semi-structured interviews with Swedish and Norwegian sound artists. The constant comparative method was used for analysis, and Activity Theory was used as a theore- tical framework for the study. The study concluded that artists? personal collections, while diverse in content and structure, serve the same functions as tools in creative processes, and that attention to the uses of personal collections highlight needs that could be better met by integrated PIM-functionality.

Denna uppsats har en kvalitativ ansats. Analysen av den empiriska informationen har verkställts med en utarbetad analytisk referensram. Genom att studera och redogöra hur SOS anpassar sin verksamhetsutveckling till de förändringar och utmaningar som uppkommer i deras omvärld, är syftet med denna uppsats att rekonstruera den strategiska beslutsprocessen i SOS för att förstå hur en strategi kan formuleras och formas. Uppsatsen tar upp de teoriområden som berör strategisk management; strategisk transformationsprocess, strategiformulering, resurs- och kärnkompetensbaserade strategier och en form av strategiskt samarbete. Slutsats: En formulerad strategi får oftast handskas med externa företeelser, oväntade och spontana.

The increasing competition is making increasing demands of today's businesses to be changeable. Change projects have therefore become increasingly common in order to satisfy market expectations. These projects have often proved difficult to implement and fail rather than succeed. Human capital is professional service firms' most valuable resource and its quality is closely linked to the quality of its services. The purpose of this study is to investigate how professional service firms appraise their employees. A comparative study between an architecture firm and a management consulting firm is conducted with the aim to identify and explain similarities and differences in performance appraisal. Two qualitative case studies are performed and interviews as well as documents are used to explore the area. The thesis builds on a critical perspective and it has an explorative approach.

AbstractAim: The aim of the study is to analyze ten different columns written by Linda Skugge, in order to see what kind of rhetorical means she uses to get her message across. It is also to examine if, and to what extent, these means are of female nature, and to see what kind of persona Skugge uses in order to be trustworthy.Method: Rhetorical analysis of ten columns written by Linda SkuggeMain results: The study has shown that Skugge´s rhetorical strategies differ from the ones recommended in theories about female speech. Skugge writes with a lot of character and emotionally based arguments, which, according to the theories, is more of a male way of speaking. In this Master's thesis we investigate the collection management regarding fiction for adults. The apprehension of fiction has changed over the years. From the beginning it was considered to be mostly educational rather than being the purpose of entertainment. As for today these views are not opposites to each other. Regarding this we discuss the problem concerning terms of quality.

The purpose with this study is to gain understanding about student´s view of mathematical education, in the later years of nine-year compulsory school, and the motivation factors that can be identified when student´s gives opportunity to express their own thoughts due to the mathematical education. From experiences we have gained during the practical part of our teachers education we got the impression that student´s think that the mathematical education is boring and uninteresting. Through qualitative methods such as survey and discussions in focus group we have analyzed student´s views of mathematical education and pointed out witch motivation factors that are expressed when student´s gives opportunity to influence over their own education. The results are shown from the answers and comments that student´s gave, during the survey and focus group, and is divided into two main parts, both with focus on motivation ?Mathematics and motivation? and ?Student´s influence and motivation? and also a summery part ?Motivated for mathematical education when the student is given influence over the education?. The study showed that student´s wants to have more difference in the work methods that are used in their mathematical education such as problem solving, games, more work in groups and pairs and more use of IT. In conclusion the study also gives suggestions to other studies that can be made in the same genre as this study in the way that IT can be used in mathematical education and how student´s interest can be used in the education to gain more motivated student´s..

Denna studie utgår från de diskussioner kring IAS40 som ägde rum i svensk affärspress under 2004. Diskussionerna handlade om de möjliga risker som implementeringen av redovisningsrekommendationen IAS 40 kunde innebära för aktiemarknaden. Vårt syfte är att bidra till att en del av det informationsgap som uppstått i spåren av IAS 40 fylls. Syftet är att undersöka IAS 40s inverkan på värderingen av förvaltningsfastighetsbolag i aktiemarknaden. Studiens slutsats är att aktiemarknaden har tagit hänsyn till de nya reglerna och att de flesta nyckeltal som IAS40 påverkar saknar värderelevans..

Vi vill beskriva, analysera och diskutera vad den nya lagen medför ur företagens perspektiv.
