The thesis has been carried out in cooperation with Master Flow AB, Västervik owned by the EWEBE Group. The company produces and sells hot runner systems that are tailor made for the customers.The problem that MasterFlow AB has encountered is in the construction of complex hot runner systems in SolidWorks. With several different lengths, fronts and endcaps that builds the nozzles of the hot runner systems, is affecting the problems for MasterFlow AB. The purpose of this work is to automate the design of hot runner systems so it does not overload the CAD-system SolidWorks.To gain an understanding of the problem, there have been several studies and observations at the company, where the focus has been on how the work is done with the design of hot runner systems. By using help from the corporate management, enough information has been collected to find a solution to these problems.The Implementation of design automation has been based on a flowchart that was created.

Futurum.kom is a collaborative marketing project with the aim of strengthening the internal organization of Länsbibliotek Sydost, Regionbibliotek Kalmar and the 25 public libraries within the southeast region. The project intends to externally build the brands of the public libraries in Blekinge, Kalmar and Kronobergs län. This thesis is a study and evaluation of the Implementation and results of Futurum.kom?s first campaign "Låna dig rik" at a public library. The analysis is based on the following issues:? What goals does the library have with the "Låna dig rik"-campaign.? What is the feedback from the staff's experience of the users in terms of needs and demands?? In which way does the library choose to implement the marketing campaign and what role do the users have in this process?? What is the internal performance of the library's marketing campaign, what was the experience of the staff of the campaign?? What is the external result of the library's marketing campaign?The method is based on a case study of a single library, with a series of interviews and document analysis of written and electronic documents.

National and international studies, such as PISA and TIMSS, which are part of the national evaluation system, are carried out continuosly. Skolverket, in collaboration with researchers, are responsible for the Implementation, evaluation, and analysis of the studies. National results show an increasing percentage of pupils who do not reach the goals in mathematics. The last completed international studies PISA 2009 and TIMSS 2007 show an impaired trend of knowledge, in international comparison. Moreover, studies also show that the differences between schools and also within the same school in Sweden have increased.

For systems with multicore processors contention for shared resources is a problem that occurs when several memory-intensive processes are executed in parallel within the same memory domain. This contention has a direct influence on the performance of the system and is a complex problem that has been recognized for a long time. An attractive and actively studied way to minimize this problem is by using a process scheduler adapted to allocate processor cores in a way such that contention for shared resources is minimized.With the introduction of multicore NUMA-systems (Non-Uniform Memory Access) the situation has become even more complex. In these systems the access time for processor cores to different memory domains vary depending on factors such as distance and load. Thus, the process scheduler also has to consider where the memory of each process is placed to minimize the distance and balance the load on each memory domain.This report presents a user-level process scheduler for a NUMA-system based on the multicore processor Tilera TILEPro64.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att fa? kunskap om vilka a?tga?rder som kan vidtas i en implementeringsprocess och lyfta fram vad som sto?djer eller hindrar att projektresultat implementeras i ordinarie verksamhet. Vi valde att formulera tre fra?gesta?llningar; Vilka a?tga?rder kan vidtas i en implementeringsprocess? Vilka faktorer sto?djer implementering? Vilka faktorer hindrar implementering? Studien har genomfo?rts pa? en kommunal arbetsrehabiliterande verksamhet som genomfo?rt ett trea?rigt ESF-projekt. Studien har genomfo?rts med hja?lp av en metodkombination besta?ende av semistrukturerade intervjuer, en deltagande observation samt dokument fra?n verksamheten och projektet.

Syftet med denna studie är att kartlägga hur Skånes 33 kommuner har implementerat de nationella målområdena för folkhälsa. Studien har genomförts som en enkätundersökning samt intervjuer med folkhälsosamordnare i ett urval av dessa kommuner. Resultaten i studien visar att prioriteringen av målområdena primärt ligger på strukturella faktorer. Dock är målområde 11 (Minskat bruk av tobak och alkohol, ett samhälle fritt från narkotika och dopning samt minskade skadeverkningar av överdrivet spelande) det målområde som är högst prioriterat i Skåne. Kartläggningen visar att 18 av Skånes kommuner har en anställd folkhälsosamordnare. Resultatet visar att 17 av Skånes kommuner har en verksamhetsplan/folkhälsoplan, varav 14 av dessa kommuner har en anställd folkhälsosamordnare. Större delen av dessa har även implementerat de nationella målområdena för folkhälsa i kommunens folkhälsoplan.

Information security is an essential part of all information systems; especially in large organizations and companies dealing with classified material. Every large information system has an architecture that includes many parts that together form an Enterprise Architecture. The aim of this thesis is to study how to describe several security functions in an Enterprise Architecture and also how to ensure accountability between requirements and the Implementation of the security functions. The description is for stakeholders on a conceptual level rather than a technical level. The study has been carried out by comparing the theoretical framework that has been formed by a study of the literature, and the empirical framework that has been formed by a group discussion and interviews with Information Security Consultants from Combitech AB.

The company is currently in a stage of improvement and has therefore taken the help of students at School of Engineering, Jonkoping University. The current production is batch, production layout is fixed. A bottleneck is created after the first station which leads to large efficiency loss.  The meaning of this report was to provide a layout suggestion with balanced workstations to a new production line. The conditions were that the production line would be one-way, driven by customers order and meet a demand of 40 products per week.

Sweden is in the initial phase of forming a national forest programme (nfp). The establishment of an nfp has been evoked by international policy developments and a national debate questioning Swedish forestry and forest policy. National forest programmes are participatory processes for the development and Implementation of forest-related policies and international commitments. Hence, the aim of this master thesis is to assess the stakeholders? acceptance of participation and integration of international issues within the Swedish national forest programme.

Societal expectations of responsible corporate conduct are currently a fact. It is manifested ina corporate need for limiting and managing external effects, such as environmental impact.An environmental management system is a tool for organizations to structure theirenvironmental work and increase their efficiency. Managing the corporate operations toaccommodate to environmental objectives requires an organizational understanding of theobjectives as well as the procedures. A condition for a successful Implementation is the coworkers´ willingness to participate and collaborate.A study made on the co-workers attitude towards the ISO 9000 standard (i.e. qualitymanagement system) reveals that the earlier positive findings are not completely true.

This thesis concerns how local governments use the concept sustainable development, and what the concept means. The concept of Agenda 21 and local Agenda 21 will also be discussed in this essay, because it's an instrument for local governments to specify their work towards sustainable development. I have interviewed civil servants in leading positions in the municipalities? work with environmental questions and sustainable development. In the choice of method for this thesis, I use the qualitative method and for the interviews I chose the ?semi structure way of interviewing?.This thesis shows that local governments? Implementation of sustainable development and Agenda 21 differ between the municipalities.

A system to regulate both quality and sustainability regarding Swedish tourism industry is under way. In order for the system to be successfull it needs to be accompanied by an education, in this case a net based education is studied.High requirements are demanded for a successful net based education for a sustainable tourism industry. This is valid both for the didactic area,  which is how an education is structured and planned and in the organisational area, which is how and education best is implemented in a company. The aim with this study is to increase the understandings of which aspects that are important for  developers  if this net based education. The study was conducted at three hostels in Stockholm with surrondings. Both managers and  employees participated in the study.  The managers where interviewed and got to answer a questionniare.

Virtualisering är en ökande trend där man istället för att ha en separat hårdvaruplattform förvarje system, så exekverar flera virtuella system på en och samma maskin. Dessa system kanha olika egenskaper och krav, exempelvis kan ett delsystem med hårda realtidskravinteragera med ett annat delsystem utan realtidskrav. Ett exempel på detta är ett industrielltstyrsystem där ena delsystemet samlar in tidskritisk systemdata i realtid medan det andradelsystemet utför icke tidskritiska åtgärder som är baserad på denna information, som tillexempel att grafiskt åskådliggöra systemstatus.Att dela upp system mellan olika virtuella delsystem ställer höga krav på delning av data. Ettsätt att dela data på ett säkert och strukturerat sätt är att använda sig av en realtidsdatabas.I detta exjobb har vi undersökt möjligheten att anpassa den kommersiella realtidsdatabasenMimer SQL Real-Time Edition för att användas i det virtualiserbara realtidssystemet INtime.Arbetet omfattar undersökningar av olika modeller för delat minne samt synkroniseringmellan systemen. Resultaten av dessa undersökningar har inkorporerats i en version avMimer SQL Real-Time Edition anpassad för virtualisering i INtime.

To render outdoor scenes with lots of vegetation in real time is a big challenge. This problem has important applications in the areas of visualization and simulation. Some progress has been made the last years, but a previously unsolved difficulty has been to combine high rendering quality with abundant variation in scenes. I present a method to mathematically generate and render vegetation in real time, with Implementation in the scene graph Gizmo3D. The most important quality of the method is its ability to render scenes with many unique specimens with very low aliasing.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine how the introducing of municipal library plans has influenced some compulsory schools in Malmö. I wanted to know if the library plan is a possible way to improve the quality of the school library. Through qualitative interviews with four school librarians and four headmasters, I investigate their knowledge of the library plan and their opinion of the possibilities to realize the directions of the plan. The theoretical framework is based on a model of organizational culture by Bakka, Fivelsdal and Lindkvist.
