AbstractThe purpose of my study is to examine the experiences and opportunities to support teachers in preschool to help children in vulnerable environments, a good self-esteem. Hindberg (1999) writes that of all children today are growing up in Sweden, so ten percent live in families where there is abuse. According Pousette (2011) as the National Public Health Institute has a new appreciation for families where there is hazardous and this means that drinking or abused so much that it can become an addiction. They appreciate the investigation that twenty percent of all children in Sweden are growing up in these conditions.The results show that teachers' work is about building a sense of security in the children, both the teacher and the environment. It also shows that teachers believe that it is important to work with the self-esteem of all children, but especially children living in abusive families.

When being in preschool, I have come across children who I have had difficulties to really meet, and I have felt that the communication between me and the child has been deficient. Since I believe that the meeting of child and pedagogue is essential to learning and development, I find this an important subject of further study.The purpose of my study is to investigate if, and how, teachers regard a possible connection between language capability and behaviour. Furthermore I investigate how they work with language acquisition and communication, and what argument the pedagogues have for this work.To answer these questions I have interviewed two pedagogues who have great knowledge and experience of this subject, and also have special interest in children?s language and communication.In my literary review I give an account of how language acquisition is described in literature, and then compare it with how language impairment reveals. I also describe earlier research on how to work with language development, and what the national curriculum for preschools (Lpfö 98) say on this topic.The result shows that my informants divide in their view of how to connect language capability to behaviour.

The purpose of this study is to improve our understanding of how immigrant children become included in some preschools. With immigrant children we meant those children who immigrated to Sweden. In order to achieve our purpose we have chosen to find out some educators' perceptions about inclusion and which strategies they use to include immigrant children.To realize the study purpose, we have chosen to use qualitative interviews as a method. We conducted interviews with sex educators who worked in two preschools. The empirical materials we got from the interviews formed the basis for our analysis.The analysis of our collected data was based on our theories and conceptions.

Studien syfte var att undersöka och beskriva skilda uppfattningar av konflikter mellanbarn och dess hantering i förskolan hos förskollärare. Studien är en kvalitativ studiemed en fenomenografisk ansats som bygger på intervjuer av ett antal förskollärare.De frågeställningar som låg till grund för studien var: Hur ser förskollärare påkonflikter mellan barn i förskolan? På vilket sätt hanteras återkommande konflikter? Påvilket sätt kan förskolläraren få stöd i sitt sätt att hantera konflikter?Det framgår av resultatet att förskollärare i studien har erfarenheter av konfliktereftersom de möter dem dagligen på förskolan. Dessa erfarenheter ligger till grund förhur de agerar i sin yrkesroll. De ser gärna att barnen själva hanterar konflikter ochagerar när de anser att behovet finns.

The aim of this study is to examine how social workers and pree-school teachers resonate about their experiences of cooperation with each other, in relation to maltreated children and the duty to report. Several studies show that there is a difference between how many children that is suspected of maltreatment and how many that are reported to social service. In Sweden, pre-school staff are obliged to notify the suspicion of child abuse according to 14: 1 SoL, but previous research indicates that the obligation to declare is not used to the extent that it should. One reason for the low notification rate is  the interaction between preschool and the social services shortcomings.Therefore, we believe it is relevant to examine how the cooperation really looks like between the organizations, when the child is being abused or at risk of suffering. The results of the study are based on qualitative semi-structured interviews with four preschool teachers and four administrators.

This report describes the design and implementation of a multi-master, packet based protocol for small and tiny microcontrollers where resources are limited. The protocol was named "Tiny Controller Network" or TCN for short. The protocol is meant mainly as a control bus for automation and sensor acquisition applications but due to its flexibility can also be used for other purposes as well. It borrows some of its functionality and design ideas from the well known CAN bus and Modbus but also has a number of major differences like the use of standard hardware and time synchronisation. One of the key aspects during the design was the use of very little system resources and common on-chip hardware peripherals like a UART.

The companies of today figures on a hardly competitive market. This makes it necessary for the company to find new way to create competition advantages. Since it is no longer enough to compete with the technical quality of the product the companies are forced to also enhance the functional quality. To accomplish this it becomes necessary for producing companies to be customer oriented. A customer oriented company culture can be reached with the help of internal marketing in which different activities work to inform and teach the employees about the company strategy and also about their own role as part-time marketers.This thesis examines Electrolux, a company which is currently striving to develop a customer oriented company culture.

Denna studie har haft som syfte att synliggöra i vilka situationer förskolepedagoger och barn på en förskolas småbarnsavdelning använder sig av surfplattor. Faktorer som undersökts har varit vilka kontexter som utgör dessa situationer, vilka beståndsdelar dessa kontexter består av samt vilka motiv och aktiviteter som ligger till grund för användning av surfplattor. Studien har varit av kvalitativ karaktär och har undersökt en småbarnsavdelning med barn upp till tre år på en förskola i Stockholm. För att åstadkomma detta har semi-deltagande observationer skett på förskolan under fyra dagar. Den insamlade datan har ställts mot och analyserats efter Nardi, Dourish och Benyons teorier om kontext samt Blomberg, Burrell & Guests teori om etnografi.

Nyckelord används på ett flertal sätt för att nå högre rankning i sökmotorresultaten på webben och många författare inom ämnet beskriver hur viktigt det är att använda rätt nyckelord när man sökop-timerar sin webbplats. I litteraturen om sökmotoroptimering beskrivs och kategoriseras nyckelord på ett flertal sätt. Teori-delen i denna uppsats är tänkt att vara en samlingsplats för information om nyckelord. Detta för att skapa en samlad helhetsbild av nyckelordsprocessen och beskriva de olika kategorierna av nyckelord så att detta finns dokumenterat på ett och samma ställe. I den andra delen av uppsatsen beskrivs en empirisk studie som gjorts för att få reda på om andra manuella metoder än den traditionella brainstormingen kan användas för att ta fram passande nyck-elord till en webbsida. De testade metoderna är slumpordsassociation, negativ idégenerering och 6-3-5. Även brainstorming testades för att jämföras med de andra tre metoderna.

The national curriculum states that the school actively should promote that women and men have equal rights and opportunities and that there is a responsibility to counteract traditional gender patterns. However do research observations show that teachers often treat girls and boys differently. Studies show that the teachers are influenced by their conceptions and their expectations of gender behavior. The aim of this study is to examine how teachers in preschool and primary school discuss gender awareness and how they state that they work with gender awareness according to the curriculum goals of counteracting the traditional gender patterns.The study is inspired by the phenomenographic research approach and the empirical material has been collected by qualitative interviews with eight teachers in preschool and primary school. The empirical material has together with earlier research and theories been analyzed and discussed in order to reach a conclusion.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att få ökad kunskap och insikt om hur förskollärare tänker om föräldrasamverkan. Hur värderar de samarbetet, vilken betydelse har den och hur utformas den. Arbetet utgår från följande frågeställningar: Hur upplever och värderar förskollärare samarbetet med föräldrar på förskolan? Finns det faktorer som kan underlätta/ försvåra samarbetet med föräldrar? Vilka samarbetsformer kan föräldrasamverkan ta sig uttryck i?För att besvara mina frågeställningar har jag gjort kvalitativa intervjuer med fem förskollärare på olika förskolor i två medelstora kommuner.Mitt resultat visar att föräldrasamverkan är viktig och värderas som något man inte kan vara utan. Det är främst barnet som vinner på ett fungerande föräldrasamarbete, då det bidrar till barnets trygghet och utveckling.

The pedagogista is a new professional role in Swedish preschools. Some people question the role, which originates from Italy, since it is believed to carry out a pedagogical leadership that belongs to the head of the preschool according to the curriculum and the Education Act. Consequently, there is cause for examining what pedagogical leadership means in an organization with a pedagogista. However, re- search has shown the success of distributed leadership within schools. Hence, it ?s interesting to find out whether the pedagogical leadership of the pedagogista could be understood as distributed leadership and what that would implicate.The purpose of this thesis is to explain and understand the pedagogical leadership of the pedagogista.

The purpose of my study is to examine how four teachers in a pre school believe they relates to and reasons about bilingualism. To be able to realize thisstudy, i proposed three issue following:How do the teachers in kindergarten relate to bilingualism?How do teachers in preschool reason around the work of bilingual children?What do teachers think about the educational environment in relation to language development?.

The purpose of my study was to explore how preschool educators in Kenya look at children's influence on teaching. Researchers have argued that the formal educational system in Kenya today is a remnant of its days as a colony when people were expected to blindly follow rules without questioning them. I have used qualitative interviews as a method in order get the most concrete understanding of educators? views on the influence from children. The educators I interviewed were based at a school I visited in Kenya.

Sweden's aging population makes the need for a viable health care urgent and telemedicine can be a solution to enable older people to receive or give themselves care in their homes. Furthermore, implementation of telemedicine has the potential to realise profits in society by increasing the accessibility of health care and minimizing travel costs. Sweden?s low population density and geographical configuration makes the advantages of telemedicine even more appealing. To illustrate the differences between the county councils? use of telemedicine and thus increasing the possibility for coordinated care between them, the authors have on behalf of the Innovation Centre at the Karolinska University hospital mapped the amount of telemedicine technologies that are available in the Swedish county councils? today. To collect information an electronic survey and video or telephone interviews were used.
