This report will discuss principle, primary and finally manufacturing structure. We were asked to produce a 3D milling to processing the prototype material that is used on the University of Halmstad. From conceptual drawings to produce components for this project have we together with a number of company take developed the right components for this project. We have calculated and analyzed the construction to get the best result for it purpose. Unfortunately have the process to produce the 3D milling has been stopped because of deficient budget and time.

För att särskilja sig från konkurrenterna på marknaden behöver företag idag ett unikt koncept som gör att konsumenterna uppfattar företagets produkter och tjänster som pålitliga och tillfredsställande. Varumärken har fått en allt större betydelse i konsumenternas val av ett företags produkter och tjänster. Detta beror troligtvis på att konsumenter handlar allt mer emotionellt snarare än rationellt, vilket grundar sig i att de vill självförverkliga sig själva. Ett varumärkes styrka och dess värde för ett företag kan mätas på ett flertal sätt. I detta arbete utgår vi från en teoretisk modell som beaktar tre begrepp (profil, image och identitet) vilka i sin helhet bör överensstämma för att ett varumärke ska kunna klassificeras som starkt.I denna uppsats har vi undersökt och jämfört kryssningsföretagen Tallink Silja ABs och Viking Line ABs varumärken genom att studera huruvida företagens profil, image och identitet överensstämmer.

Avatarer är vanligt förekommande i datorspel och används för nöjes skull men avatarer används även i seriösa spel. Rapporten undersöker hur en persons självkänsla och body image kan stärkas med hjälp av en avatar och vilka egenskaper avataren behöver ha. Undersökningen genomförs som en litteraturstudie. Slutsatsen är att det troligen går att skapa en avatar för detta ändamål, men att det är många aspekter att ta hänsyn till och att det inte är helt självklart vilka val som behöver göras. Viktigt verkar dock att användaren själv får välja sin avatar, att till exempel typen av klädsel påverkar liksom avatarens längd.

AbstractAim: The aim of this study was to describe which coping strategies women use when they have been diagnosed with breast cancer. In addition, the purpose was to describe how woman?s self-image changes after a mastectomy. Method: A literature review study has been carried out with a descriptive design. The result of the study included 16 articles which were found in the databases: Cinahl, PubMed, PsycInfo and through manual search.

Kungsmarken, a apartment area in Karlskrona has suffered the medias prying eye for decades. Today the area only maintains a very low position of status in the livinghierarchy in the community. The area in question was a part of the "Miljonprogrammet" and apperantly has suffered the same consequenses as similar areas since it was built. The onesided negative discourse that has persecuded areas of Miljonprogrammet, such as Kungsmarken, has put social problems as criminality, drugaddiction, dependancy on the social welfare system or cultural incompetence in the focus. The author´s previous understanding of the phenomena lies in private experience from living in Hjällbo, a similar area in Gothenburg also with the miljonprogram.

This Masters thesis is a historiographic study, which aim is to investigate how the Brezhnev administration 1964-82 describes the events taking place during the soviet cultural struggle 1917-32. The investigation is limited to how some of the literary groups, organisations and currents as well as a small number of Russian writers are viewed by the administration. The third and last edition of the Great Soviet Encyclopedia, which is considered as equivalent with the soviet official view, is used as source. The analysis made in this thesis is divided in two parts; the text analysis of the writers biographies is compared with the result of a discourse analysis, whose target is some of the literary groups, organisations and currents during the topical period. The discourse analysis is a pre-analysis, but its conclusions also have a value in itself.

Our modern swedish society is charactarized by peoples and cultures from all over the world. In this perspective I believe that young pupils of today need culture studies in school in order to understand themselves and further to recieve knowledge about different cultures, traditions and lifestyles. The present study is an attempt to investigate the potential of the ethnological culture analysis as a pedagogical method. The paper is divided into two sections; one in which I (a student teacher in swedish language training) have applied the culture analysis in a literary context. By using the culture analysis on Emily Brontë´s classic book Wuthering Heights I have tried to let typical elements from the Victorian era appear.

The main point in this diploma work lies to a beginning on analysis of the existingmodel of WoodEye scanner. Telefon- och mailintervjuer ligger till grund för vår insamling av empirin.De teoretiska aspekter som vi valt är orsaker till ignorans av 50+marknaden, image, universell design, kognitiv ålder, kommunikationsteori och age cohort. Dessa har i avsikt att hjälpa oss tolka det empiriska materialet. Vi har valt att intervjua en kommunikationsdirektör och marknadschefer på ledande svenska resebolag, grundaren och delägaren av Senioragency Stockholm samt en framtida entreprenör i resebranschen.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the media discussions of the rape in Bjästa 2009 and to reveal how stereotypical illusions of ethnicity, religion and gender affect how media understands and defines violence. The rape in Bjästa occurred in a ?Swedish context? but has been defined as honor related in other arenas outside media. This discussion occurred because the whole village turned against the woman that was raped and supported the perpetrator? a phenomena that speaks against the idea of an equal society and a behavior that is usually understood as honor related and something that the ?others? do.

En mätserie utfördes på en entreprenadmaskin där entreprenadmaskinen var en tandemvält. Data som spelades in på en DAT-bandspelare var motorns rotationsfrekvens, valsarnas vibrationer samt ljudfältet i kabinen. Den insamlade datamängden analyserades m.a.p dess spektra samt ljudnivåer. Vidare predikterades resultat till implementering av det adaptiva systemet ur dessa insamlade data. Viss laboration utfördes på en modell av det adaptiva systemet m.h.a insamlade data.

Syftet med denna studie var att försöka hitta de teser Min Volvo Magazine driver för att forma sin image. För att få svar på syftet har kritisk retorikanalys använts. Vad skriver Min Volvo Magazine om och vem är den tänkta målgruppen. Vem identifierar sig med budskapet och vem gör det inte och känner sig utanför ?Vi som kör Volvo gruppen? Huvudfrågorna var: Vilken image vill Volvo bli förknippad med? Och vad kan de retoriska valen som Volvo gör ha för effekt på identifikation respektive åtskillnad?Studien har använt sig av teorier som identifikation och etos.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate the factors of children?s voluntarily reading in their spare time. We also want to know if the children choose non-fiction books for their voluntarily reading. The method as well as the empirical basis of this study is qualitative, with interviews of twenty-eight children in ages between 9 and 12 years. We conducted nine interviews with 3?4 children in each group.

In this study we examine five selected media organisations with different forms of productionplatforms that all appear in Stockholm's southern and western suburbs, which are part of themillion-construction project. Their stated ambition is to present an alternative image of thesuburbs than that found in mainstream media. They want to portray themselves instead ofconstantly being described by others.The purpose of the study is to gain a better understanding of the reason for the emergenceof these media, their visions according to the media producers themselves, and how theyrelate to mainstream media. The study is based on a theoretical framework that focuses ondiverse approaches of alternative media and the journalists' role in a democratic society.The wide data analysis from qualitative informant interviews, with small observations as acomplement, showed results indicating criticism against the misrepresentation of Stockholmsuburbs in mainstream media. Furthermore the results show that the overall dissatisfaction ofthis misrepresentation is one of the main reasons why the different media, which are bothrepresented by citizens and journalists, were founded.
