Partly as a reaction to a perceived crisis in contemporary democracy, the nineties witnessed an upsurge in different forms of citizens? fora, dedicated to the promotion of increased participation by the citizen in the political process. Youth councils are a special point in case as they entail the general characteristics of a deliberative forum, with an emphasis on political learning. This study aims to undertake an evaluation of a regional youth council in the region of Skåne in the south of Sweden. Through qualitative analysis, the study aims to portray the origin, purposes and consequences of such a forum.

Sigtuna är en av de äldsta städerna i landet. Kyrkan S:t Olof är en av flera medeltida kyrkor i staden. Under hösten 2005 utförde Leica Geosystems en demonstrationsmätning med en laserskanner i S:t Olofs ruin. Från museets håll ville man därefter att hela ruinen skulle mätas upp tredimensionellt för att på ett bättre sätt kunna analysera komplicerade kronologiska händelser och förändringar.Man har tidigare inom vetenskapsgrenen byggnadsarkeologi upplevt problem med att åstadkomma en fullständig bild av en byggnad genom tvådimensionella ritningar. I en tredimensionell avbildning synliggörs rummet på ett mer fullkomligt och verklighetstroget sätt.

Social work in Sweden has historically been mostly done by the public sector andthe work has been regulated by law. In the last two decades, private and voluntaryactors have played an important role as providers of welfare state; one of theseplayers is the Swedish Church. The aim of this thesis has been to describe thework the deacons perform in the Swedish Church in a medium-sized municipalityin Sweden. To find out how much freedom of action the deacons themselves feelthat they have and if they feel that their work is influenced by the social work thatother performers are doing. In order to reach the goal, a qualitative approach wasused where seven deacons were interviewed.

Den tid vi lever i ger oss ständigt ny information och kunskap om den förändring samhället genomgår. Våra privata värderingar och vår livsstil förändras i takt med att samhället ändras. Förut var det kyrkan som påverkade människans tro och livsstil, men genom sekulariseringen ändrades tankesättet. Väckelserörelsernas uppkomst och utveckling hör ihop med de samhällsförändringar som ägde rum i mitten av 1800-talet. I många församlingar läggs tyngdpunkten vid individens personliga omvändelse ? en ?pånyttfödelse? som skall påverka hela vardagen.

The parental education groups are an activity that attracts the majority of all couples that awaits their first child. Therefore this is a forum with strong influence on the formulation of the parenting. The aim of the study was to examine how parental education within Swedish child health care, affects the construction and shaping of parenthood. We have also studied this from a gender perspective. The starting point for our understanding of parenting is that it is socially constructed.

Denna uppsats har haft fokus på att intervjua människor om deras tankar om begravningar och fånga upp attityden kring begravningar. Frågorna jag utgått från är om begravningar inom Svenska Kyrkan ökar eller minskar, hur tendensen ser ut gällande borgerliga begravningar? Vilka symboler är viktiga eller mindre betydelsefulla? Är det viktigt att man bevarar traditionerna som finns kring en begravning eller kan man hitta på nya former? Finns det nya symboler man vill ha med? Den metod jag använt mig av är kvalitativ och jag har tolkat materialet enligt ett hermeneutiskt förhållningssätt. Jag har läst litteratur som varit relevant för uppsatsen. Resultatet utifrån de möten jag haft har gett bilden av att många vill ha kvar formen på en begravning som den sett ut under lång tid då detta ger en trygghet.

Suicidology deals a lot with taking into consideration significant symptoms, risk factors and establishing causal relationships which inevitably are very important for suicide prevention. But do we understand the suicide attempters better thereby? The aim with the study is to elucidate the meaning of the lived suicidal experience that is expressed by participants on an Internet forum. Ten participants' texts which concerned own suicidality were chosen out from this Internet forum and were analyzed and interpreted on the basis of a phenomenological hermeneutical method inspired by Ricoeur (1976). The result established twelve themes that with the aid of Heidegger (1993) and Derrida (1978, 1991) led to that the following conclusions could be drawn about the meaning of the suicidal lifeworld: suicidal concern and care in itself reduces the sense of identity, practical suicidal doing in itself reduces the world, sense of identity is more affected by the future than the present and the past, the death is escaped from through a calculating determination to have the death at one's disposal, inability to turn away from the death increases oscillating between states of emotions, the surrounding world's requirement to avoiding death becomes to a compulsion to isolate one self; and finally: to both feel anxiety in front of one self's own death and dread when escaping from it..

Intresset för ideellt arbete har ökat drastiskt de senaste åren. Brottsofferjouren är inget undantag; verksamheten fyller en medmänsklig funktion, det vill säga att lyssna. Rapport från brottsofferjouren visar på en konstant ökning av antalet vittnesstöd/stödpersoner. Syftet med uppsatsen var att ge inblick i blivande och verksamma vittnesstöds/stödpersonens livsvärld och ge en förståelse av de centrala motiven till att de arbetar i brottsofferjouren. Genom induktiv tematisk analys analyserades nio intervjuer.

Detta examensarbete syftar till att utreda vilka av Svenska kyrkans byggnader i Växjö som ska energideklareras samt utföra en energideklaration av en kontorsbyggnad. I energideklarationen ingår det även att ge åtgärdsförslag för olika energibesparingsmöjligheter. En fördjupad studie i nattkylning av stommen har också utförts. Examensarbetet är uppdelat i tre huvuddelar, indelning av byggnader, utförande av energideklaration samt fördjupad studie av nattkyla. I den första delen delas byggnaderna in i grupper utifrån verksamhet och byggnadstyp och därefter utreds om de ska energideklareras.

The purpose of this study was to investigate what view of humans that emerges when priests/reverends talk about man in relation to baptism. The study consists of qualitative interviews with four priests/reverends. There were two representatives from the church of Sweden, and two from the Pentecostal church. The aim and questions in the study focus on what view of humans that emerges. Will there be similarities and differences in the view of humans, and is it possible to refer the result to the respective church.

On the 1st of July 2011 a new education act was carried out, which elucidate that all education in course of a public principal shall be non-denominational. In relation to this a public debate about the educational system's policy toward religious institutions, particularly the earlier nation church Svenska Kyrkan, and religious traditions burst out. This thesis reconstructs the ?Lucia debates? that were kept during the years 2011-2012. The aim of this thesis is to identify the mechanisms of the Lucia debate's issue and progress.

The following study is dedicated to investigate what kind of problems an organisation might stumble upon in the process of implementing a policy related to information security. Alongside investigating the eventual problems occurring in the implementation process of an organisation, the study also sets out to analyse how an organisation can motivate staff in order to follow the guidelines of a policy. The collection of empirical data was done using interviews. In order to seek answers to our research questions a theoretical background is presented that illustrate the need for information security after which motivational theories are applied to our collected data.To summarise the results of the study we find a gap of knowledge between the employees of the organisation. The organisational level of an employee together with the degree of participation in working with a policy seems connected to both the employee?s knowledge of a policy as well as how well the employee are motivated to learn about and follow the guidelines provided from a policy..

I haveinterviewed 18 female politicians in a small city in Sweden, and 12 female politicians in thelocal and provincial politic in the Philippines.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att granska hur ledarskapet framställs i tidningar i samband med SM-slutspelet i ishockey 2004, samt jämföra tidningarnas bild av ishockeyledarskap med den bild som Riksidrottsförbundet och Svenska ishockeyförbundet ger i sina officiella idéprogram. Frågeställningen är: Hur framställs ledarskapet i olika medier? Stämmer massmedias bild av ledarskap överens med den som ishockeyn själva vill förmedla?Under SM-slutspelet får ishockeyn stor exponering i massmedia. De tidningar som vi har studerat ägnar flera sidor varje dag åt matcherna. SM-slutspelet i ishockey är ett forum med stor lyskraft.

Sammanfattande diskussionSyftet med min uppsats har varit att undersöka vad som motiverar människor till ideellt arbete och då särskilt volontärerna på Aeroseum, och att komma fram till vad som är drivkraften bakom deras frivilliga engagemang och hur man kan motivera dem till fortsatt intresse. Detta skulle sedan utmynna i konkreta förslag till förbättringar och riktlinjer över hur arbetet med volontärerna kan se ut i framtiden.
