Thisthesis is a study of female politicians and power in Sweden and in the Philippines. Do thefemale politicians perceive that they have just as much power as the males have? I haveinterviewed 18 female politicians in a small city in Sweden, and 12 female politicians in thelocal and provincial politic in the Philippines. Are there some differences between being afemale politician in these two countries? Yes, there are lots of differences. The men andwomen work together in the politic in the Philippines under the same condition. In Swedenthe female work on males rules.
