Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka stadsbyggnadsideal som har format Linköping under historiens gång samt att studera de ideal som präglar planering och utbyggnad av staden idag. Med hjälp av en litteraturgenomgång tas utgångspunkten i 1800-talets Europa och i de trender som däri-från format våra städer. Det empiriska material som ligger till grund för studierna av Linköpings stadsbyggnadsideal idag är i första hand hämtat från Linköpings kommuns egna hemsidor men det har också gjorts en kvalitativ intervju med ordförande i Linköpings stadsbyggnadsnämnd. För att få en bred bild av vilka ideal som förekommer har förutom Linköpings översiktliga planer också tre specifika projekt studerats. De tre projekten är Övre Vasastaden som är ett centrumnära ombygg-nadsprojekt, Djurgården som är en nybyggnation mer perifert och närmare naturen samt Linköpings-Bo2016 som är ett visionsfyllt projekt med slutpunkt i en bomässa 2016.Resultatet av litteraturgenomgången visar på att tre dominerande doktriner har präglat stadsbygg-nationen i Europa från 1800-talet till idag.

The present study tested the prediction that male offenders are judged more harsly than female offenders for involving in a violent crime. Three-hundred and fifty-four adult students (163 men, 190 women, 1 unspecified gender) evaluated a hypothetical crimescenario describing a violent conflict between two parties, as part of a 2 (Informants Gender: Male/Female) x 3 (Offender Gender Triad: Male/Female/Neutral) x 3 (Victim Gender Triad: Male/Female/Neutral) between-subjects design. In situations involving male offenders, compared to female offenders, the informants judged the male offenders more harshly which exposed a double standard, as we expected. This study concerns the type of vegetation selected by cattle grazing on semi-natural pastures, and whether the selection depends on the nutrient content of the vegetation or on other factors. The study was carried out in three different semi-natural pastures in the Uppsala area during June, July and August in 2006. The three pastures were first surveyed, mapped out and divided into sub-areas with regard to the type of dominating vegetation. The vegetation types identified were: wet, mesic, dry, wooded, pasture with signs of former cultivation (arable). Within each vegetation type three 1x1 m sampling plots were laid out. The grazing behaviour of the cows was recorded in a behaviour study.

The analysis is done with an analytical schedule, that consists of a number of opposing ideal types taken from previous research on quality, purchasing, thinning or mediation.

In order to answer these questions an idea analysis were used. Three ideal types concerning democracy, effectivity and professionalism were used in analysing official governmental documents. The conclusion is that all three ideal types dominated the debate concerning the responsibility distribution, but in different degrees, and they can also explain why a new responsibility distribution came up in 1991..

The purpose of this study was to review a group of youths in a municipality which all had committed criminal acts. The study is based on 66 youths between the ages of 13 and 20 that were all matters for the social services. The social inquiries of the youths where reviewed using a quantitative method. Their backgrounds where examined to identify what type of risk factors they had and what type of crimes they had committed with an aim to detect if there were a relationship between the risk factors and the art of the crime. The result of the study showed that the majority had committed crimes against another person and the risk factors included family related factors and school problems.

The goals of this essay are to identify rituals and ritual behavior at the department of archaeology and ancient history at Lund University. To do this a series of empirical examinations was conducted. Observations, interviews and polls revealed that some ritual behavior is in fact present. Two types of rituals were identified; the interaction ritual, as presented by Erving Goffman in the book Interaction Ritual, Essays on Face-to-Face Behavior, in 1967. The second type of ritual is a ?problem solving? ritual, such as meetings.

Utifrån frågeställningen hur femininitet representeras i modebilder, eller mer specifikt modeteckningar eller modeillustrationer, undersöks och analyseras tre modebilder som representerar tre konstruerade kategorier:voyeurism-makt-sexualitet; estetik-makt-skönhet och feminina mellangrupper-obestämbara genus.Bilderna analyseras med diskursanalys som teoriram, kompositionsanalys och psykoanalytiskt inspirerad bildtolkning ugör metod. I tolkning och gestaltande arbete undersöks hur subjektet som betraktare formas av modebilder, beroende av genus i denna diskurs. Syftet är att utveckla en modell för hur jag som bildlärare kan arbeta med konst och mode, och hur jag utifrån modebilder, vilka barn och ungdomar kommer i kontakt med genom media, nätet, tv, reklam, tidningar och modeböcker, kan diskutera värderingar som berör femininitet, könsstereotyper, genus och normer.Uppsatsen tittar på hur bilderna är en disciplinering, hur mötet med modediskursen och modebilder konstituerar blicken, hur skönheten och skönhetsidealen speglar den tid som skapar dem. Modet har makt att styra ideal och påverka människors självbild. This essay examine the meaning produced around bodies and body fat in the queer community, but also in the surrounding straight community. The author has interviewed fat activists, and are using queertehory, to examine and analyze the relationship between body fat and the understanding and construction of sexuality and gender. The author concludes that even if norms around body shape and body fat are overlapping between the two contexts to some degree, they also differ. In the straight community, people with larger body shapes and sizes are punished, and encouraged to stay, or become, slim. However, in the queer community, ?fat? or bigger body sizes are not frowned upon in the same degree.

The title is a quote from a blog entry written by the Swedish journalist Linus Fremin. For many years Fremin suffered from bulimia and he claims that men for a long time have been excluded from medias coverage of eating disorders.We wanted to try this thesis and decided to do a quantitative study of articles published in two Swedish newspapers, Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter, regarding eating disorders during the period 20101129-20121129. We studied 199 articles and counted the occurrence of men and women in the texts.Our study showed that women were represented in a majority of the articles, whereas the men were clearly much more absent. In most of the articles eating disorders were described as a female issue and men were rarely included. It?s difficult to say how the ideal division of men and women in media?s coverage of eating disorders should look like.

In the middle of the 19th century was Calluna heath the major nature type in Halland, but the remaining parts today is only 1 500 hectares which is a 99 % decrease of the Calluna heath mainly due to an increase in forest plantations and arable fields. I have made a quantitative study how the Calluna heath of Grönabur & Sandsjöbacka has changed between 1841 and 2005 and why it didn?t disappear in the same manner, as it did in other parts of Halland. The studying of original sources as historical maps, literature and by doing field visits has been significant for the final result. The main reason for the different development of the Calluna heath in the investigation area (69 % decrease), compare to elsewhere in Halland, is the establishment and management of a nature reserve..

From an ergonomic point of view, a child's nose is smaller than an adults and therefore needs a different type of shape and nosebridge.
