Generationsskifte : Särskilt om gåva och blandade fång

All small- and medium-sized family owned enterprises need to sooner or later undergo a change of ownership. When the elder generation is approaching their retirement they have to make a choice; either hand over the business to the younger generation or sell it to an outsider. The succession of the family owned business can create a life long dilemma for the entrepreneur. From the view of taxation there are, according to current legislation, no reasons to plan the succession to the younger generation. If no preparation has been done, the optional law system concerning inheritance will divide the property left.

Generation Y : En studie om chefers upplevelser av unga i arbetslivet

Syftet med den här studien är att beskriva chefers föreställningar om och upplevelser av att leda unga, generation Y, i arbetslivet. Detta syfte leder oss till följande frågeställningar:1. Hur upplever chefer generation Y i arbetslivet i förhållande till äldre generationer?2. Hur anpassar chefer sitt ledarskap med avseende på ledarstil till generation Y?För att besvara dessa frågor har vi genomfört en kvalitativ undersökning där åtta operativa chefer intervjuats.

Sammanfattning:Det har skett förändringar i svenska köpcentrum sedan ett antal år tillbaka. Nya har tillkommit och gamla har rustats upp. Trots denna förändring har en kritik mot likriktning vuxit fram; många köpcentrum uppvisar stora likheter i utbudet. Vad denna uppsats pekar på är att likriktningen av butiksutbudet inte är ett problem, snarare finns det ett behov av att utforma unika köpcentrum som har en tydlig profilering.Denna uppsats fokuserar på den yngre generationen, även kallad Generation Y. Denna växande och köpstarka grupp består av sena 70-talister och 80-talister som skiljer sig i beteende från tidigare generationer.

To invent an optimized product is a complicated process. This process is only half of the work. It is equally important to develop a production system that can produce the product in an  efficient and ergonomic way.After several evaluations of conceptual and detailed drawings a final idea has come to light.The idea intends, to the maximum extent, utilize the facility in a more efficient way through moving assembly lines and stations closer to the flock section and the stock for complete products. To make the production better, stations are placed in more logical places given the assignment they are supposed to accomplish. This improves the material flow radically.

Utveckling och design av spegelskåp för badrum

This report is a documentation of a Master?s thesis of 20 credits performed at the educational program of Technical Product- and Production Development with Design at Halmstad University. The project is carried out in cooperation with Hafa AB in Halmstad.The purpose of this project was to bring forth a concept of a bathroom cabinet for Hafa?s new selection Young through creative design methods. The selection is supposed to attract the younger purchaser but also a target group that dare to experiment with home furnishing and appreciates new design.

Forskning på vad som motiverar Generation Y är begränsad då generationen är relativt ny på arbetsmarknaden. Trots detta finns det mycket föreställningar om hur denna generation beter sig. Dagens arbetsgivare står inför utmaningen att uppfatta vad den nya generationen på väg in på arbetsmarknaden drivs av i arbetet samt att kunna tillgodose detta. Syftet med studien var att beskriva vilka drivkrafter den svenska Generation Y upplever att de har i relation till arbetet. Undersökningen utgick från en kvalitativ ansats och utgjordes av semistrukturerade intervjuer.

Skillnader mellan uppkopplad och uppkopplad : En jämförelsestudie mellan 1960- och 1990-talister

This paper aims to examine whether there are any substantial differences between a generation of users born during the 1960?s and younger generation born during the 1990?s regarding the use of digital technologies connected to the Internet. Based on Marc Prensky?s theories on people born before and after 1980 saying those born before are not as natural when it comes to using digital technologies. We used diaries as a qualitative method to gather data from 16 respondents.

Den nya generationen KinBag : The new generation of KinBag

This report summarizes a Bachelor Degree Project in Integrated Product Development,carried out during the spring semester in 2007 by three students at the Product Design Engineering programme at the University of Skövde. The project was performed as an assignment for KinBag ab, a sister subsidiary to Kinnegrip ab in Lidköping, who develop,manufacture and market the golf bag KinBag, a bag with an integrated wheel carriage system. The purpose of the project was to redesign the golf bag to attract a target group consisting of golfers aged between 20 and 40.The layout of the project was as follows: The project began with a feasibility study where different problems were identified with the basis of a market research which eventually was summarized in a dynamic specification of requirements. The feasibility study was followed by a generation of ideas which contained everything from sketches to simple mock-ups with an intensive amount of thoughtful brainwork and information gathering in between. This ledto the development of a number of design concepts, both on an overall level and on different parts of the golf bag.

Brand loyalty plays a significant role in the success of a business through maintaining and retaining relationships with consumers. Despite companies' extensive use of influencer marketing in order to promote and create brand exposure within Generation Z, there is a lack of sufficient research on influencer marketing?s effect on brand loyalty. Therefore the purpose of this research is to investigate how influencer marketing affects brand loyalty within Generation Z. A quantitative research method was conducted by using a survey, whereby 193 respondents within the age of 18-29 participated.

90-talistens arbetsvärderingar. En studie om framtidens svenska arbetskraft.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att bidra med en utökad kunskap kring generation Y, som definieras som bestående av 80- och 90-talister, och deras arbetsvärderingar. Genom att undersöka vilka arbetsvärderingar svenska 80- och 90-talister besitter diskuteras begreppet generation Y och om dessa båda grupper kan betraktas som enhetliga gällande arbetsvärderingar. En enkätundersökning genomfördes bland svenska högskolestudenter. Utifrån resultatet av denna samt ett teoretiskt underlag har vi gett förklaringar till 90-talisternas syn på arbetsvärderingar. Denna syn har sedan jämförts med enkätresultatet med avseende på 80-talister för att därefter jämföras med tidigare kunskap om 80-talisternas arbetsvärderingar.

"Den grekiska krisen" : En studie om medias framställning och andra generationens greker tolkningar, upplevelser och påverkan på vardagslivet

The purpose of this paper is to examine how the Greeks in connection with the crisis in Greece is portrayed in Swedish newspapers, as well as the second generation Greeks in Sweden experiencing and interpreting the portraying and how it affects their everyday lives. The idea is to create an understanding of what happens when ethnic aspects is being portrayed in the media and how it is perceived and interpreted by second generation immigrants, and what this might mean for the impact of their daily life. The study is based, therefore on the following questions; how are the Greeks in connection with the crisis in Greece being portrayed in Swedish newspapers? How does second generations Greeks in Sweden perceive and interpret the portraying, and how it affects their everyday lives?The study's basic methodological approach is qualitative text analysis and qualitative interviews. Qualitative text analysis is to bring out the essential content through careful reading of the text parts and the context in which it is included.
