Vår uppsats strävar efter att beskriva turisters motivations- och identitetskapande med hjälp av det sociala mediet Facebook. Facebook är idag det största sociala nätverket och unga vuxna är de mest frekventa användarna. Vi kommer således i vår uppsats gå in på en djupare diskussion om deras använde av Facebook vid resande med hjälp av information insamlad genom personliga intervjuer samt litteratur. De intervjuade bestod av svenska unga vuxna i åldrarna 18-25 år. Den specifika åldersgruppen valdes eftersom de tillhör den största användargruppen på Facebook.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to adjusting corporate goals so that they are not only based on maximizing corporate profits, but include ethical standards on socially desirable behavior (Boatright, 2008). Even though many companies have integrated CSR into their business operations, there are still many issues that are difficult to tackle. Especially Multinational Corporations (MNCs) in the global business environment face many challenging situations due to the fact that they often have linkages to countries where the local government is either unwilling or unable to take care of its responsibilities. MNCs often find themselves with increased responsibilities when they start solving some of the issues that earlier have been the sole responsibility of states. A specific case situation discussed in this paper is related to ?conflict minerals?.

Frågor kring frivillig redovisningsinformation har under senare år varit av växande intresse. Missnöjet med den obligatoriska redovisningen bland investerare och andra nyckelintressenter har bidragit till att kraven på företagen att förse dessa intressenter med mer information ökat. Företag uppmuntras därför att förbättra den ekonomiska rapporteringen.Syftet med studien är att beskriva och förklara vilka faktorer som påverkar företag att lämna frivillig information i årsredovisningar.Uppsatsen bygger på kvantitativ forskningsstrategi då den syftar till att kvantifiera förekomsten av frivillig redovisningsinformation i årsredovisningar. Genom en innehållsanalys av 389 slumpmässigt utvalda aktiebolags årsredovisningar med hjälp av ett kodningsschema kvantifieras den frivilliga informationen. Denna kvantitativa information har sedan statistiskt bearbetats för att kunna bidra till att testa de uppställda hypoteserna.Börsnotering är den faktor som har störst inverkan på mängden redovisad frivillig information och den teori som är mest tillämpbar för att förklara förekomsten av frivillig redovisning är legitimitetsteorin..

The purpose of this study is to describe the motivations of women to participate in politics and to examine whether women feel that they are held back by something in their political participation. The questions of this study are:How do women motivate their participation in different fields in politics?Are there any obstacles that are holding women back in their political participation? Interviews have been used as the method to gather the empirical data. When applying the theoretical framework on the empirical material the main conclusion is that women tend to participate more frequently in political activities that are less time consuming and more sporadic in comparison to more traditional forms of political participation. This essay is an investigation of the level- and importance of interactivity on YouTube for the active user. YouTube is a great example of a user-friendly Internet environment which enables the users to take part in a virtual community where they can create the content and, with the various functions the site has to offer, interact with each other. With Uses and Gratifications as a tool for this research we look at the motivations and needs of the user and how they come into play on the most popular video distribution site in the world today. Qualitative interviews on Swedish respondents give us insight in how the YouTube-users with their own words perceive this relatively new highly interactive era. We focus on a narrow group of the most popular age-group of YouTube-users to go deeper - not to expand.

Försvarsmakten i Sverige genomgick år 2010 omfattande förändringar för att bli mer tidsenlig och punktinsats-orienterad. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur försvarsmaktens organisationsförändring har påverkat officerarnas upplevelse av det ledarskap de utövar och hur de motiverar sina soldater samt undersöka officerarnas upplevda arbetsbörda och stress. Informationen hämtades genom kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer med fem verksamma officerare. Resultatet av en tematisk analys visade att officerarna är anhängare av ett ledarskap där medarbetare inkluderas och får möjlighet att tillgodose sina psykologiska behov, vilket kan härledas till moderna och tidsenliga motivations- och ledarskapsteorier. Dessutom framgick det att de flesta officerarna upplevde stress som kan relateras till omorganisationen samt försvarsmaktens starka kultur..

Denna undersökning målar upp en översiktlig bild av det exopolitiska fältet och några av frontfigurerna har lyfts fram, speciellt två personer i en separat temasektion. Exopolitiken strävar efter att på ett disciplinerat sätt studera politiska processer och aktörer förknippade med interstellärt samhälle.Dessa frontfigurer drivs av gemensamma mål, men de har bitvis olika metoder hur att nå dessa mål. De kompletterar dock varandra bra, eftersom de täcker in olika områden av exopolitiken. Det exopolitiska fältet framstår till viss del som fragmenterat.Den större bilden visar på många likheter med ufo-fältet, och även på vissa likheter med New Age och nyandliga rörelser. Utöver likheterna har exopolitiken även sina egna särdrag och en komplex bild av framträder.

This is a study about how different digital instruments can be used in education for pupils with autism and intellectual disability. The questions formulated to research this chosen area was: ?What does teachers think about digital instruments and interactive teaching materials when it comes to benefits and disadvantages in the classroom?, ?In what ways is digital instruments used as teaching materials in the specific school context? and ?From a perspective of teaching and learning, what kind of problems and opportunities can be gained from using digital instruments and teaching materials?. To gather this information interviews was done with three specialist pedagogues working with the chosen group of pupils at three different schools. The material shows that the specialist pedagogues have positive attitudes towards working with digital instruments in this specific group of students..

This thesis aims to open the Pandora?s Box of hedge fund styles through an index-based style analysis. This information asymmetry is due to both less strict disclosure requirements and inherent nature of hedge funds. We employ a multiple unconditional linear regression model wherein 23 Swedish hedge funds are regressed on 10 style indices. In addition to the increased interest in hedge funds and their performance drivers, our unique approach with regressing return on return motivates this study.

Syftet med undersökningen är att undersöka skillnader och likheter i motivation mellan ideellt och kommersiellt ledarskap genom att beskriva och analysera hur ledare i sex organisationer arbetar med motivation.Fottler (1981) visar på de skillnader som finns mellan dessa organisationstyper. Vidare beskrivs Herzbergs (1964 tvåfaktorsteori som behandlar hur medarbetare kan motiveras genom antingen inre- eller yttre motivationsfaktorer, så kallade motivations- och hygienfaktorer.Den ideella sektorn saknar många av de incitamentsinstrument som den kommersiella besitter, exempelvis lön, vilket medför att de i större utsträckning motiverar med hjälp av Herzbergs (1964 motivationsfaktorer som litteraturen föreskriver. De kommersiella ledarna verkar dock medvetna om vikten av att motivera genom dessa. En annan faktor som också påverkar ledarskapet är organisationsstorleken..

Syftet med vår undersökning är att förstå vilka motivationsfaktorer och hygienfaktorer som är av betydelse för utexaminerade sjöbefälsstudenter vid val av arbetsgivare samt arbetsplats. För att besvara vår frågeställning har vi valt att intervjua fyra elever som går sista terminen på sjöfartshögskolan i kalmar. Intervjuerna genomfördes som djupgående samtal, så kallade djupgående kvalitativa intervjuer, där vi försökte fånga intervjupersonens tankar och idéer. Våra undersökningsresultat har jämförts med Fredrick Herzbergs tvåfaktorteori och vi har kommit fram till att det finns likheter och olikheter. De mest betydande motivationsfaktorer var ansvar och utveckling.
