The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the relationship between urban transformation and the occupation movement in Sweden, aiming to identify the movement's characteristics and comprehend its changes over time. By analyzing qualitative material collected from occupants active within a span from the 1980 to the present, we examine how the occupation movement has evolved. We investigate the motivations behind the movement, the lifestyle of occupants, and their potential gains to get a better understanding of the culture. We explore the prefigurative politics of the resistance where occupant activists create alternative lifestyles aligned with their desired future, bypassing the wait for broader societal changes. The following study aims to examine how the Swedish journalism portrays the relationship between the Swedish police and the Romani people in Sweden in connection with the disclosure of the registration of thousands of Romani people during the autumn of 2013. The study proceeds from a series of articles written 2013 about what in Swedish media is known as ?Registerskandalen? or ?Romregistret?. The theories used in the study all originates from Postcolonial Theory and Ethnocentrism, and we used van Dijk's Critical Discourse Analysis for analysing the result. In the end of the study we find that the Swedish journalism portrays the Swedish police's view on the Romani people as negative in comparison to how they view the rest of the majority society in Sweden..

Theories about exposure and risk-taking in an everyday environment show a connection between parental strategies, parent-child relationship and exposure on the Internet. In the present study, the Internet is presented as an everyday activity. Negative exposure is seen as an outcome of risk-taking. The purpose of the study was to examine in what way parental strategies together with the parent-child relationship were related to the teenagers? negative experiences on the Internet, which consisted of three categories: 1) Exposure to pornographic sites, 2) Exposure to upsetting and violent material, 3) Digital bullying.

The aim of this study is to investigate a specific form of Special Interest Tourism (SIT), namely health- and fitnesstravels. This kind of travelling is studied from a Swedish perspective and includes aspects like gender and age in active tourism. It also includes which travel motivations that lies beyond the choice of an active vacation.The study is based on a survey that was sent in an e-mail to the health tourism company InShapeTravel´s customers. The answers to the survey has been analyzed and related to earlier research about active tourism.The result shows that more women than men participate in the kind of healthy travels that InShapeTravel offers. A majority of the respondents are between 41-60 years old and the most common travel motivation was ?Better physic/psychic wellbeing?. .

The aim of this study is to obtain a better understanding of what factors affect the motivation for visiting Dark Tourism sites and the way that these sites are regarded. By providing such an insight this study contributes to a greater understanding of Dark Tourism.  In order to find answers to our questions, we interviewed several representatives at different sites and also carried out observations at three Dark Tourism attractions to reach a better understanding of the visors? motivations for visiting this kind of tourist attractions. In our study we have concluded that people have become increasingly interested in visiting such Dark Tourism sites even though these may seem scary or uncomfortable. Our research has helped us to find answers to the questions that we asked and we have concluded that people have become more curious and want to know more about terrible events and why they took place..

Automationscenter & Bråvalla Elteknik AB is a company that offers the market completed total solutions where the customer can operate and monitor their production from the terminal. In these total solutions they lack standard circuit which are developed by the company and which could manoeuvre/control/monitor controlled process objects. This report defines the work of developing the most common standard circuits.The report is initiated by a short theoretical part about PLC and the PLC system, with a connected terminal, which has been used. Thereafter, the turnout of the demands of specification is reported, after discussing with the supervisor in the course of the project. The report concludes with a disclosure of how the programming, the documentation and the testing have proceeded and a final discussion concerning the project and proposals on continuation.The result is a CD with the documentation of standard circuits and how they are implemented in a new project.

Den här uppsatsen vill exemplifiera och beskriva hur interaktionen mellan människor och djur kan användas i socialt arbete. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer med professionella som använder djur i vardagen. Allt från vårdhundar hos dementa på äldreboende till ridhästar för att hjälpa unga med självdestruktivt beteende, har vi funnit gemensamma effekter som djuret bidrar med i inter-aktionen. Genom att applicera teorier som social pedagogik, makt och symbolisk interaktionism försöker vi tydliggöra interaktionen och vad som sker utifrån olika teoretiska perspektiv. Ur resultatet kommer vi presentera djurets olika funktioner och roller som icebreaker, motivations verktyg, skapare av sammanhang och signifikant andre.

Syftet med denna kvalitativa undersökning är att jag vill beskriva och analysera homosexuellas komma-ut-processer. Datainsamlingsmetoden som använts är intervjucitat med kvinnor från den skrivna litteraturen, Lesbisk identitet, Dubbelliv och Komma ut, samt livsvärldsbaserade temaintervjuer med tre av mina vänner. I intervjuerna har jag utgått från dessa olika teman; upptäckt, resans gång och dagsläge. Jag har även med ett par citat från egna erfarenheter.Mina teorier jag har använt mig av är, Fuchs Ebaughs Exitprocess, Pennebakers begrepp Disclosure och Inhibtion, jag har även använt mig av interaktion, roll- och stigma inom socialpsykologi. Jag kommer att göra ett försök till att beskriva och analysera dessa områden inom mitt ämne; komma-ut-process i sin helhet, Vad är det som påverkar kvinnornas agerande i en komma-ut-process och hur personer i det sociala nätverket involveras i en komma-ut-process.
