Framgångsfaktorer för tjänsten Boka en bibliotekarie på högskolebibliotek

This master´s thesis is a comparative study of the importance of eight factors suggested in the literature to be related to the perceived utility of the service Book a librarian (Swe. Boka en bibliotekarie). Disciplinary differences were also analysed. 73 encounters between students and librarians in 11 Swedish academic libraries were studied using a survey. Six factors were significantly related (at the .05 level) to the utility of the service.

A good flow of information in organizations is one of the key aspects of how we define a well-functioning organization. The information flow could be internal as well as external between actors within as well as outside of the organization. In a logistics organization this flow of information is equally important as in any other kind of organization. In this paper we have explored information flows in logistics organizations by applying, boundary spanning and the mobile-stationary divide perspective. In boundary spanning the main goal is to erase or relocate some of the boundaries within an organization, in our case to make the flow of information internally as well as externally better.

Spitz nevus was first described by Sophie Spitz in 1948 as juvenile melanoma. The lesion is a benign melanocytic tumor, which consists of epiteloid- and spindelshaped cells. Histological is spitz nevus difficult to distinguish from malign melanomas and spitzoid melanomas. Loss of symmetry, loss of maturation in the deep component, nuclear polymorphism and hyper chromatic nucleus are features which can be found in melanomas. Some of these features are often seen in spitz nevus.

AbstractThe purpose of this essay is to study how undocumented migrants situation is constructed inSwedish massmedia discourse. The purpose has also been to study how the compromisedhuman rights of undocumented migrants in Sweden are legitimated in massmedia discourseand how resistance is constructed. The following main questions have been processed in this essay:- How are undocumented migrants and their situation constructed in Swedish massmediadiscourse?- How is society?s part in the situation constructed?Following questions are related to the main questions:- How is the situation that undocumented migrants face in Sweden legitimated in discourse?-What social consequences do the constructions have for undocumented migrants and for theSwedish society?The questions have been answered through a discourse analysis on empirical materialconsisting of ten news clips from Swedish public service television SVT and ten articles fromthe online editions of the main national newspapers Dagens Nyheter, Svenska Dagbladet, Aftonbladet and Expressen. The analysis was done with analytic methods from discursivepsychology and with the sociological theories at hand in this essay.The conclusions drawn from the analysis are that the situation is constructed according todifferent interpretative repertoires drawing on humanitarian discourses and economicdiscourses, which lead to separate social consequences and ideological categorisations of ?usand them?.

It was the purpose of the present study to explore thoughts and lines of reasonings concerning body perspectives in school. Based on students at a secondary school and on analyses of the curricula of the school, I reason about how we see the human being and the importance of it in school. In the introduction I start out from observations and highlight the body as a communicative channel leading up to the issue of students? basic view of man as integrated or devided in body and soul. A study of twelve interviews of students shows that thoughts about the two perspectives had not been identified until now but that a great deal of interest existed for discussion on this subject.

Motivation och service inom flygindustrin: en studie av relationen mellan kabinpersonalens motivation och den kundupplevda servicen

Denna studie behandlar relationen mellan kabinpersonalens motivation och den kundupplevda servicen ombord. Det övergripande målet med denna studie är att se om motivationen hos kabinpersonalen inverkar på den kundupplevda servicen och om servicen påverkar val av flygbolag. Vid en eventuell relation mellan motivation och kundupplevd service avser studien även att beskriva de beroende variabler som styr detta samband. Ett svenskt charterflygbolag blev utvalt och all kabinpersonal och 20 av passagerarna blev utvalda att delta i undersökningen på 40 olika flygningar under en treveckorsperiod. Resultatet visade på att det inte fanns någon signifikant korrelation mellan kundupplevd service och kabinpersonalens motivationsnivå.

The aim of this study is to find out in which way the education about climate in school is taught and how the students experience the world situation today. There are various theories about the greenhouse effect and its origin and these theories should be addressed to ensure that students get a broader understanding of how climate change occurs. This includes the natural phenomena and also the human impact on climate change. Students in school are a source of concern that only human are the cause of global warming, and know little or almost nothing about the natural phenomena of global warming.  I will mention what has emphasized in the national steering documents in the case of environmental education at school.I have used a qualitative method, where interviews and document analysis were used as techniques. The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine in what way the introducing of library plans in three municipalities have affected the work in library organizations. We base our study on a new institutionalist perspective, which focuses on changes in organizations from a social and interpretative perspective. By using this theoretical framework, it is possible to study how interpersonal relations affect the development in library organizations. Through qualitative interviews with ten librarians, we investigate how the establishing of library plans has influenced, and been influenced by, the library field and by the environment, i.e.

When professionals meet people from other cultures, there are some problematic issues that may appear, especially when considering human rights. Every individual has the right to live as they choose, and have the right to their own culture and traditions even if they have immigrated to another country. Female genital mutilation is a tradition that violates human rights. In this study we will look at what conflicts of values that professionals can have while meeting clients who have been mutilated. We have made qualitative interviews with four professionals working in a small town in Sweden in an area where many immigrants live.

Hjälp eller hinder? En kvalitativ studie av motivationens betydelse för socialsekreterarnas arbetstillfredsställelse

Att arbeta i en organisation som socialtjänsten innebär ofta att man står mitt emellan vad organisationen vill och vad klienten behöver. Vi som författare menar att detta samt den ofta överbelastade arbetssituationen som socialsekreterarna befinner sig i har en viss påverkan på motivationen och i förlängningen på upplevelsen av arbetstillfredsställelse. Syftet med denna studie har därför varit att utifrån litteraturstudier och vår empiri undersöka vilka motivationsaspekter som kan vara till hjälp och vilka som kan ses som hinder i socialsekreterarnas upplevelse av arbetstillfredsställelse. Vår intention är att få fram en övergripande bild av hur de olika områdena organisation och klientkontakt påverkar socialsekreterarna i sitt arbete. Studien bygger på följande frågeställningar: Vad upplevs som hinder i att känna motivation i arbetet med klienten? Vilka aspekter påverkar i positiv riktning motivationen i arbetet med klienten? Upplever socialsekreterarna sig motiverade i arbetet med klienten? Studien har utgått från tidigare forskning kring motivationsaspekter och det samband de har med den arbetstillfredsställelse man känner.
