In this paper, a small business network with around 30 users is analyzed with respect to security, performance and usability. Based on this analysis, two suggestions on how to solve the problems listed are given. The first suggestion focus on keeping a low budget, while the other tries to deal with the problems more thoroughly. One advantage of the first suggestion is, in addition to not straining the company's budget more than nessecary, it does not involve too great changes in the way the network is used and administered. On the other hand, the smaller budget leads to certain compromises, and there is a risk that similar problems occur again if, for example, the company would grow.

Detta är rapporten för hur IF Trions hemsida kom till och utvecklades. Från det att iden kläcktes tills det att hemsidan var helt färdigställd. Arbetet bygger mycket på de olika säkerhetsbrister som en hemsida kan ha, till exempel hur lösenord ska hanteras. Med avseende på detta så ingår ett avsnitt i rapporten om de vanligaste säkerhetsproblem som man kan tänkas stöta på under uppbyggnadsfasen och exempel på hur man kan lösa dem. PHP är det programmeringsspråk som IF Trions hemsida är kodat med. För att göra det lättare att välja vilket programmeringsspråk man ska använda sig av när man ska börja koda en hemsida så ingår ett kapitel som tar upp fördelar och nackdelar om PHP och ASP.

In order to facilitate testing of anesthesia machines a patient simulator has been required by Maquet Critical Care AB. A patient simulator has been developed to reduce expensive and time consuming animal experiments and temporary lab arrangements. The patient simulator has been developed and designed to simulate human lungs with regards to anesthetic uptake, production of carbon dioxide and heating and moisturizing exhaled air.The system comprises a container and a test lung to simulate the volume and the dynamic of the human lung. The simulation of uptake of anesthetics has been implemented by pumping a fraction of the gas from the container through a bypass circuit with an active charcoal filter that adsorbs volatile anesthetics. The flow through the bypass circuit is generated by a pump and is controlled by a linear valve.The resulting performance of the patient simulator has fulfilled the requirements.

The electrical grid needs to be changed in the future in order to manage more distributed and renewable generation and also to make it possible for electricity consumers to be more active and aware of their electricity consumption. This future grid is usually referred to as a smart grid. With the transition to a smart grid, new challenges occur. Bakgrund: Forskningen har visat att humor är ett socialt fenomen som kan ses som ett universellt språk. Den har visat sig påverka en rad faktorer positivt, däribland vårdmiljön, relationen mellan sjuksköterska och patient samt patientens hälsa. Humor är inte enbart positivt i en vårdkontext, däremot finns det tillfällen då den bör undvikas.Syfte: Syftet är att belysa användandet av humor i mötet mellan sjuksköterska och patient.Metod: Examensarbetet är en litteraturöversikt där tio vetenskapliga artiklar valts ut, skillnader och likheter har identifierats och slutligen sammanställts.Resultat: Resultatet består av tre huvudteman: Humorns inverkan på avdelningens vårdatmosfär, interaktion mellan sjuksköterska och patient samt humorns effekter. Under huvudtemat interaktion mellan sjuksköterska och patient hittades två underkategorier: kommunikation mellan sjuksköterska och patient samt förlorade tillfällen till humor. I huvudtemat humorns effekter hittades underkategorierna: humor som strategi samt humor som lindring.Diskussion: I resultatdiskussionen följer en diskussion där resultatet implementeras i Travelbees omvårdnadsteori, Human-to-Human Relationship Theory, men också hur ny forskning förhåller sig till resultatet.

I vår studie har vi belyst hur organisationers ledare kan tillämpa SHRM för att skapa en harmoniserad organisationskultur. This thesis examines the gender boundaries in sports. I do this by exploring three cases in which these boundaries, at least on the surface, have been questioned: the transsexual tennis player Renée Richards, the east European runners Marita Koch and Jarmila Kratochvilova and the Swedish golf player Annika Sörenstam. The results point out different mechanisms that contain the"danger"and restore"security". But they also point out a criticism against the struggle for equality in sports, which is based on the preserving of differences and therefore cannot challenge the ideological assumptions about gender in sports..

There is convincing research which shows that the enzyme alkaline phosphatase (ALP) has a central role in the mineralization of bone, more precisely that its catalytic activity is needed in the process. ALP is found on the surface of matrix vesicles where the mineral is formed. One theory about the function of the enzyme is that it binds to fibrous collagen in the bone and thereby incorporating the mineral into the bone. The purpose of this study is to establish whether ALP binds to collagen. If this is the case, more elaborate studies around this will be performed.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the process and result of renovations in socioeconomic vulnerable areas affect the residents' right to housing; with a focus on women's experiences of their homes, their area, the housing company's apartment renovations. The study is conducted through two research questions: How do the women in L?vg?rdet experience their homes and the area? And how do the women in L?vg?rdet experience the process and the result of the renovations of the rental apartments? The methodology used is qualitative research interviews. The empirical material was gathered through qualitative interviews. Eight women living in L?vg?rdet have been interviewed.
