In order to stay competitive companies must take advantage of talented people, new technology and new markets around the world. Not only companies but also countries and regions, such as EU, need to take advantage of globalisation and the advantages that come with the increase in FDI around the world. Studies have shown that FDI does not only make companies more competitive but it also stimulates the economic growth of the region where the FDI takes place.
Value creation form a gender perspective - a case study of Caran
Women ledaers and profitability, is there a correlation? Earlier research show different outcome on the correlation between women leaders and profitability. A Swedish consultant firm, Caran has a belief that more women leaders would create more financial profit, we ask us if that is the true situation. Using two different IC measurement methods we have shown the difficulties in calculate intagible resources, which methods that can/ can not be used and if women leders create financial value. We found the women leaders in Caran to add more value per dollar spent on the woman leaders than the value added per dollar spent on men leaders.

Vårt syfte är att bringa klarhet i frågan om i vilken utsträckning det ?myndiga medarbetarskapet? existerar, hur olika strategiska åtgärder påverkar försäljningen, vad som påverkar medarbetarnas motivation samt hur deras lojalitet gentemot arbetsgivaren ser ut.Undersökningen visar att personalen i Telekomkedjan trivs bra på sin arbetsplats.

Från vision till medarbetare : En kvalitativ studie om hur medarbetare inom Halmstads kommun använder visionen Halmstad 2020 i sitt arbete
Denna studie är en kvalitativ undersökning som syftar till att undersöka hur de anställda inom Halmstads kommun använder sig av visionen ? Halmstad 2020 och värdegrunderna den vilar på i sitt arbete. För att analysera det empiriska materialet har vi använt oss av teorier om kommunikation, värdebaserat och expressivt ledarskap, ledarskap i politiskt styrda organisationen samt Human Resources. Totalt har vi genomfört två informantintervjuer, samt tio intervjuer inom två olika förvaltningar i kommunen. Vi har även tagit del av olika dokument som har legat till grund för vår studie.

Hållbart nyttjande av vattenresurser på Gotland : vision och verklighet
Fresh water has become more and more of a scarce commodity. Water scarcity isn't first and foremost a cause of drought and wasting, but a cause of inequality and mismanagement. This is not only a problem for developing countries, and there can also be variations within countries. The municipality of Gotland has a development program called Vision Gotland 2025, with goals for growth and sustainable development. The aim of this study is to examine whether the use and management of water resources on Gotland and Vision Gotland 2025 is conformed to the Water Framework Directive and the Ecosystem Approach in terms of sustainability.
Kostnadsallokering genom ABC-kalkylering ? en empirisk studie av OMX
As IT service departments in organisations are becoming more complex and customised, the indirect costs are increasing in relation to the total costs. The difficulty of fully estimating and identifying the spread of the cost in the IT service department is increasing. As a result, firms tend to budget the business unit as a total cost rather than as a spread of defined costs. In order to deal with this challenge an ABC calculation will be applied. The Time Driven ABC model will be conducted in OMX´s Servicedesk unit within the IT services.

The acquisition, organization and storage of information in combination with a strategic use, is today an important factor for a successful organisation in any sector of our society.In this Master thesis I have studied how an organisation such as The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (Svenskt Näringsliv) handles its information resources. I have also looked at the flow of information within the organization. The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise is Sweden?s largest business federation representing 50 member organizations and 55 000 member companies.

The purpose is presented in the frame of the creationtheology of Wingren. To be able to make the research and to answer the purpose of the essay, the following questions are essential:The human being is captive and redemption is liberation. If we are serious about that the gospel gives the human being rehabilitation, satisfaction, liberation and a life and a future with God, the essential question is which metaphor, a juridical or a biological, that speaks to the human being in the best way? What is the meaning of an accentshift from a juridical to a biological metaphor? How does the creationtheologhy of Wingren, from a biological metaphor, meets the situation of the existence for the human being, her longing for life, health and meaning? What kind of theological resources are present in the creationtheology of Wingren, in the confrontation with future theological challenges?The essay is stressing the need of pluralism in the interpretation of the gospel.

I denna uppsats har jag studerat förändringsledningen vid en förändring avstrategisk HR (Human Resources). Syftetmed rapporten är att undersöka hur det går att tillämpa teorier kring förändringsledningi praktiken. Studien kommer att undersökaområdet Talent Management (ett företagsstrategiska HR) i syfte att förstå hur förändringsledning bedrivs. Frågor som därmedblir relevanta att besvara är i vilken omfattning etablerade förändringsledningsteorier används vid en Talent Management-?förändring och omanvändandet är lågt, identifiera orsakerna till detta.
Utvärdering av personalutbildning : En studie om organisationers utvärdering av utbildningsprogram
This study examines how and why organizations evaluate training and development within the organizations. The study has a qualitative approach based on semi-structured interviews, with office and organization development managers. The purpose of the study is to contribute with knowledge about how three large Swedish organizations evaluates training and development programs for staff members. Another purpose is to describe why the organizations evaluate training and development programs and to research if there is a further need to develop the organization evaluation methods. Therefore the research questions are Why and how do organizations evaluate training programs? What further need is there to develop organizations evaluation methods?The conclusion of this study shows that evaluation of the training and development programs are not a high priority among the selected organizations.

Begreppet Human Resource Management, d.v.s. ledning av de mänskliga resurserna, har de senaste åren vuxit sig större. Detta beror bl.a. på att medvetenheten kring organisationer och hur man får anställda att öka produktiviteten har blivit större. Idag vet vi att de psykosociala faktorerna på en arbetsplats är av stor vikt för att få en ökad produktivitet och effektivitet.
Humankapitalets roll vid företagsvärdering
This study investigates a method for identifying human capital and its effect on company valuation. We devise a measure for the efficiency of human capital based on the personnel cost. We include all companies listed in the financial and industry sector on Nasdaq OMX Stockholm in an attempt to examine human capital and its effect on firm valuation. Our results indicate that a higher efficiency of human capital has a positive effect on return on assets. However, we find that our measure can be interpreted in two ways; either as a firm?s level of human capital efficiency or its dependency on human capital, to achieve its net sales and revenue.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze how small and medium-sized management consulting firms in Sweden work with human resource management during digital transformation. By interviewing companies, this study explores their approach to attracting, recruiting, and developing competence. The results showed that management consulting firms have good access to candidates, made possible by having a strong corporate culture and attractive working conditions - Crucial parts for attracting talent. Social media and networking are frequently used for marketing and attracting interesting candidates. Digital tools and social media showed to be useful during the recruitment process, but personal contacts and networking still play a central role.
