The purpose of this study is to describe and analyzes how the bookmobile librarians approach to purchase and selection and the range of views that may exist. The study is based on a qualitative method using a document study and three interviews included. The document study looking closely at public libraries library plans in Vastra Gotalands county. The qualitative interviews gets a closer look at librarians´approach regarding the purchase and selection and also if there are any similarities or differences between mobile library activities versus the main library.The theoretical framework is based on Sanna Taljas study where she has identified three different perspectives on the library´s music department. These are categorized as the interpretative repertoires and involves three categories of approach to quality.

En dag på arbetet: sjuksköterskeprofessionens informationspraktik

The aim of this thesis is to create an understanding of nurses' information practices. To be able to search, find, use and critically evaluate information is important, not just during studies, but also in professional life. This study is intended to deepen our understanding of nurses ' information literacy in a workplace context.The main questions are: What information do nurses need on a daily basis and how do they experience information activities? What factors determine the sources they use? Do information practices vary in the workplace? Do nurses? professional experiences impact on their information practices? Nine nurses were interviewed using semi-structured interviews. The interviews have been analysed through a hermeneutic approach.

Social rekrytering : en kvalitativ studie som behandlar fyra organisationers och fyra professionella aktörers tankar om rekrytering oc sociala medier.

Detta är en kvalitativ studie som behandlar relationen mellan sociala medier och rekrytering, så kallad social rekrytering. Vi har genomfört intervjuer med personer från företag och offentliga organisationer kring deras användande av social rekrytering. Vi har även intervjuat fyra professionella aktörer som arbetar med sociala medier, kommunikation och human resources, med avsikten att få en djupare inblick i hur sociala medier bör och kan användas i rekryteringssammanhang. Vi kopplade våra intervjuresultat till teorier kring bland annat rekrytering, sociala medier och employer branding.Studiens frågeställningar berörde hur företagen och de offentliga organisationerna möter social rekrytering samt hur de använder social rekrytering idag. De professionella aktörerna besvarade frågor kring hur de ser på samspelet mellan rekrytering och sociala medier.

Konditionalitet, effektivitet och legitimitet. En normativ studie av politisk konditionalitet.

Since the end of the Cold War, foreign aid donors have been using political conditionality to promote human rights, democracy and good governance in recipient countries. This phenomenon has been analyzed and criticized, but mainly from a strictly empirical point of view. In this paper, the legitimacy of political conditionality is analyzed through a normative perspective based on the extrinsic value of efficiency. If the political conditions don?t result in a democratic development, including respect of human rights and good governance, they can not be justified.With at theoretical focus on the donors, based on the unequal relationship between donor and recipient, I am examining the donors? possibility and supposed will to use political conditions in development cooperation.

Elever med diagnosen ADHD i skolan : kvalitativ studie om 4 lärares erfarenheter och förhållningsätt till diagnosen i årskurs 1-7

How teachers teach children with attention difficulties. This is a qualitative interview based on the experiences of four teachers. I want this study to examine teachers' experience and views about ADHD diagnosis. I would also like to find out what teachers do and think about the practice which surrounds students with ADHD. How to formulate and think of four active teachers about ADHD? What are the implications of the diagnosis perceive the four teachers interviewed that the diagnosis must for students? Among the measures that consider the four teachers interviewed are most effective for students with ADHD because they provide an equal education? Those questions are addressed to specifically learn about how they proceed in their activities.

Biblioteket som en språkplanerande institution: En studie av språkplanering på färöiska bibliotek.

This thesis is about language planning in Faeroese libraries as seen from the countrys specific situation, with Faeroese as a mothers tongue, but with great dominance of the Danish language within media. The purpose of my thesis is to examine language planning activities within the library, and the consequences this planning has for the system. Different theories about language planning provides a framework for my model of the library as a linguistic eco-system with actors performing status planning, represented by the government with its influence in cultural politics, the librarian with his or her library tasks and the user with his or her needs. The thesis has a qualitative attempt, and the empirical material consists of different documents about the country and materials from interviews made with seven qualified librarians, employed within general libraries in the Faeroe Islands. The analysis shows that the librarian in different ways promotes the Faeroese language within library activities, and because of the attention paid to the user in the public library he/she influences the librarians planning.

Human Resources (en benämning för personalarbetet) är ett yrke som idag blir allt populärare. Trots detta visar statistik att en majoritet av kvinnor både studerar och arbetar med personalfrågor. Studien har därför som syfte att undersöka varför Human Resources branschen har en ojämn könsfördelning. Detta görs genom en historisk inblick i branschens utveckling i relation till samhällets förändringar, där en analys av texter ger en bild av dagens personalarbete. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna består dels av socialkonstruktivism och dels av begreppen mjuk och hård Human Resources Management.

Arbetsterapeuters pedagogiska förhållningssätt i gruppverksamhet - en kvalitativ studie

The occupational therapist uses meaningful activities to promote health and accomplish functional progress. The professional role is to support and enable for the client to change his/her life. One way to accomplish this is to use the group as a tool. Knowledge is needed about how learning works and which teaching methods exist to promote learning, so it is adapted after the clients´ personal way of learning. The aim of this study was to investigate which pedagogical approaches occupational therapists use in group activities.

Kommunernas rekryteringsprocess : HR i praktiken

Rekryteringsprocessens utformning och utövande är helt avgörande för att verksamheten ska kunna fortsätta att utvecklas samt nå uppsatta mål och visioner. Hur arbetsgivare rekryterar på ett professionellt och tillförlitligt sätt kräver kompetens. Organisationer idag har i regel en egen personalavdelning som inriktar sig på att rekrytera nya medarbetare. Många organisationer som anställer personer i betydande positioner använder sig av externa rekryteringsföretag. Rekrytering är en omfattande och kostnadskrävande process, men att göra rekryteringsprocessen rätt från början kan bli förhållandevis billigare än en felrekrytering.

Mänskliga rättigheter i Södertälje kommun? : En kvalitativ undersökning om elever och lärares kunskaper kring mänskliga rättigheter samt dess implementering i undervisningen

Syftet med föreliggande projekt är att kartlägga vilka förutsättningar unga erhålls i Södertälje kommun i förhållande till mänskliga rättigheter. Med detta söka nå en förklaring till de motsättningar som föreligger kommunen för att på sikt minska dem, genom att arbeta konkret med implementering av mänskliga rättigheter och eventuella resurser. Metoden för detta antagande har varit av kvalitativ karaktär, med djupintervjuer av 15 informanter. Urvalsgruppen är rektorer, lärare och elever av blandad ålder, etnicitet, kön och funktionsnedsättning.Resultatet har visat att mänskliga rättigheter inte förekommer konkret i undervisningen bland skolorna i Södertälje, dock är de ofta integrerad i undervisningen över lag. Lärare upplever att resurserna är av bristfällig natur, vilket påverkar arbetet med att tillgodose gedigen utbildning.

Förskolepedagogers uppfattningar av sitt arbete kring energiomsättningen

The aim of this study is to examine the understanding, preschool teachers, have about their work related to energy conversion in the human body. Through individual interviews, answers have been sought to the following questions: What do the preschool teachers believe they need to know about the link between food and energy? What are the different methods preschool teachers use to workwith the area of energy conversion in the human body?The results show that preschool teachers have knowledge in terms of food and its nutrients as an energy source for the body to cope with. However the more thorough and detailed questions become all the more uncertainty there is about the topic. Preschool teachers on their own initiative do bring up the topic with the children and begin conversations as well as ask questions, perform experiments and demonstrations.

"Fördomar? Då skulle du träffa min pappa!" : En undersökning av hur intolerans och fostrande undervisning beskrivs av gymnasieelever på ett yrkesförberedande program

The purpose of this study is to describe how the employee appraisal is perceived by managers, employees and representatives from human resources departments. The empirical material con-sists of 15 interviews: respondents were two representatives of the human resources departments, four unit managers and nine employees who work at a state institution or municipal management. In the study, I adopt a sociocultural perspective, with the communicative relational perspective. The latter is a special education perspective in which the interpenetration of participation, com-munication and learning emphasized.The result shows that the majority of employees would like to see that the talks will be held more frequently than once a year. One of the managers has in cooperation with his co-workers devel-oped a model based on that each year, in addition to salary talks, have an individual conversation, a conversation with each group and individual follow-up talks.

Närståendes behov av stöd inom palliativ vård : -en litteraturöversikt över närståendes upplevelser

Bakgrund:Allt fler svårt sjuka väljer idag att vårdas i hemmet och i och med detta får närstående en central och viktig roll. Att vara närstående till en patient i livets slutskede innebär stora påfrestningar i det dagliga livet och ett otillräckligt stöd i den sena palliativa fasen kan leda till svårbehandlad, traumatisk sorg. Många närstående beskriver känslor av ångest, sårbarhet, depression, och även isolering och ensamhet. Närstående kan behöva stöd att hantera sin svåra situation.Syfte:Syftet var att beskriva närståendes behov av stöd inom palliativ vård.Metod:Vi har genomfört en litteraturöversikt där åtta vetenskapliga artiklar har granskats och analyserats med Joyce Travelbee?s teori ?human-to-human relationship? och de fyra hörnstenarna inom palliativ vård som teoretiska utgångspunkter.

The aim of this study was to get a deeper understanding of how employees at NCC Construction Sverige AB experience health promotion activities. The purpose was to identify and uncover the process of meaning constitution concerning health promotion within each subjective individual. To achieve this deeper understanding the participants were asked to answer a carefully formulated phenomenological question in a self-report. The received reports where analysed according to the method of Meaning Constitution Analysis. The result showed that both office workers and construction workers exclusively refer health promotion to bodily functions even though there where some differences in type of activity they focused.

Projektet att etablera vindkraft : möjligheter och risker med ett förnybart energisystem

This thesis describes the processes of establishing wind farms in Sweden. The workcontains a thorough literature review regarding both the establishing process andproject management, including complex project theory. The main part consists of theexecution of 15 interviews with organizations involved in wind farm establishment.The result of these interviews laid the foundation for a process description identifyingdifferent steps and activities in these types of projects. The outcome was thencompiled in a project model, which includes five phases and four processes.When analyzing the project of establishing wind farms from the theory of complexprojects one discovers that the amount of different requirements and stakeholdersnecessitates a systematical and dynamical project structure. Since projects are in needof different types of competences there are also many consultants and contractorsinvolved.
