Arbetet är en studie kring hur några lärare i årskurs 4 arbetar med learning study. Flera studier påvisar att teorier och forskning om lärande och undervisning endast når fram till lärarna i begränsad utsträckning. Learning study är en metod för forskning och syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur några lärares sätt att undervisa förändras efter att man arbetat med learning study i sin undervisning.För att kunna ta reda på hur lärare arbetar med learning study så har lärare från olika skolor intervjuats samt att professor Ference Marton har intervjuats för att ta del av hans kunskaper.Resultatet från intervjuerna är att lärarna i studien idag oftare använder variation och skillnader i sin undervisning samt att lärarna i första hand fokuserar på vad som ska läras..

The reason why this study has been made is the fact that a substantial part of students in the upper secondary school changes their field of study, during or after their first year. The aim of this study is to find out the reasons behind such changes as well as finding out the affecting factors. The study has been made in two steps, first quantitatively by a poll study and the second step is qualitative by interviews. This research has been made in both private schools and municipal schools, with the ambition to search for differences between these two separate school forms. The study shows that no general differences can be found in a comparison between them.

This study was made to compare construction companies for gardens way to work with up following, with purpose to see if there was an efficient and not resource demanded system which gave much value. We have analyzed selected editions of the magazine, first and foremost inarticles under the vignette fashion, using a qualitative method for content analysis, scrutinizing everything from the denotation of single words to the big picture. This specific vignette contains the most frequent contributions by in-house, or at least reappearing, journalists.Perusing the material in Två Dagar, we have come to the conclusion that the magazine has indeed retained its level of quality and still reflects the same core values as before being outsourced..

This study examines the players experience, environments and objects in the videogame World of Warcraft. The purpose of this study is to get more knowledge about the players experience in the game with the focus on factors contributing to some form of immersion or/and presence. The data for this study were gathered using interviews as method and then analyzed with relevant literature in the chosen field. A game content analysis and a group of questions are tested with the results of the study which is presented at the end in with an analytic discussion. .

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to study how libraries handle metadata in institutional repositories. The methodology of the study is semi-structured interviews with librarians from all Swedish libraries that currently use the institutional repository system DSpace. Metadata schemes from the different libraries have also been studied. As analytical tools the study uses the user tasks presented in Functional Requirement for Bibliographic Records, as well as a study of metadata quality made by Jung-Ran Park. The study shows a rather big difference between the ways the libraries use institutional repositories.

The purpose of the study is to examine the multilingual student?s use of IT in school.The study also highlights the teacher?s view of development and how they use IT in their own teaching.A qualitative approach study was conducted to acquire a deeper understanding of students' language learning by using IT. In the study, it was assumed socio-cultural perspective in which learning takes place through interaction with others.The result shows that multilingual students have difficulty understanding information available on the internet and they are either waiting to meet a teacher to get a clearer picture of what to do or doing tasks even though in some cases misunderstand the task. Language teachers also confirm student?s impression and at the same time express the concern that students are reading less.This study shows that there may be correlation between students' learning motivation and an understanding of instructions online.

Uppsatsen ska undersöka hur identiteten hos de fyra kvinnliga huvudkaraktärerna i Sex and the City skapas och definieras, hur olika identifikationsgemenskaper konstrueras samt hur framställningen av de fyra kvinnliga huvudkaraktärernas identiteter förändras mellan det första och det sista avsnittet.Undersökningen ska utföras enligt en metod för analys av TV-program ur boken How to study television av Keith Selby och Ron Cowdery, med fokus på begreppen narrativ och konstruktion, och med inslag av narratologiska begrepp ur boken Medier och kultur av Kirsten Drotner (m.fl.). This study is a study of the assessment and grading of Swedish students with physical disabilities in physical education. The purpose of the study has been to look into how teachers assess and grade students with physical disabilities, and if there are any difficulties or problems in this assessment and grading. This is a case study about the effects that disasters have on social work. The case in question is the fire in Berga village, Kalmar, which took place the 12: th of October 2011. The aim of this study is to describe the ways in which Kalmar worked crime preventive towards young people before the fire and after. The study also aims to specify if, and how the disaster affected the crime preventive work with young people. In this study we define the fire like a disaster and disaster has the ability to create changes in policy.
