Infection with intestinal parasites can in many cases be the reason for decreased performance or production. The gastro-intestinal nematode, Ostertagia ostertagi, and the lungworm, Dictyocaulus viviparus, are the most pathogenic nematodes of cattle and severe infection can lead to death. They have both a direct lifecycle and on the pasture the parasites spread as freeliving worms. The parasites are mainly a problem for the first season grazers. They have not developed immunity against the parasites and are therefor more sensitive to parasite infections.

When migration to a country increases, the integration of the migrants becomes extra important for the Host country?s society, economy and culture. In the last decade, Europe has faced several crises, such as the refugee crisis and the covid-19 pandemic, which has affected both migration and integration policy. The challenges that have characterized European society in recent years makes it interesting to study how the measures highlighted by the European Commission to integrate migrants has developed. Therefore, the paper aims to compare the Commission?s action plans for integration published in 2016 and 2020 based on the threat theory and the contact theory to see how both perspectives can contribute to understanding the differences between the years and which theory is best suited to understand the Commission?s current visions of integration.

This thesis is about making a support for barcode readers and RFID readers on a computermounted in heavy vehicles. The computer has several applications designed for heavyvehicles such as an order handling application. The goal was to suggest an architecture toimplement a support for the readers. The architecture should be independent of whichmanufacturer who has made the reader hardware that was connected to the computer.At first a theoretically study was made around RFID technology and standards for thetransport and supply sector. Then the architecture was developed and a demo implementationwas made.The conclusion of this thesis is to implement support for barcode readers with a wedgeapplication.

I will also look at what magnitude the festival have on the local commercial and industrial life and how it affects those who live there. I will also determent how the moving of the festival might come and affect the local businesses, the local population and the community it-self.Method: I will thorough-out this study work with qualitative research methodology. I will there-for process the empirical data that will be collected and used for this study from a qualitative research methodology point of view. En sammanfattning av uppsatsen på maximalt 8000 tecken.This thesis is mainly dealing with the mobility of the employees within the borders of the European Union. Legislative framework from the EU is favourable and the Commission has set as one of it goals to promote the migration. Globalisation trends and contemporary business concepts need people who are mobile on the other hand. But migration numbers are still low within Europe. The purpose of this thesis is to find out how much the legal uncertainties, and the different culture mentality in the workplace of another country act as barriers in the minds of the people who wish to work abroad.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva varför följsamheten gällande handhygien ofta är låg bland vårdpersonal, samt hur man kan öka följsamheten för handhygien bland vårdpersonal. Metoden som använts var en litteraturstudie. Datainsamling skedde via databaserna Medline (PubMed), Cinahl (EBSCO Host) och Academic Search Elite. Sökorden som använts: prevention, hand disinfection, hand washing, infection control, nosocomial infection och education. Totalt användes 15 vetenskapliga artiklar.

I den sista tiden i en människas liv var det viktigt att livskvaliteten var hög, samtidigt var livskvalitet någonting som var högst subjektivt och ibland svårt att mäta. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva vilka metoder som användes för att värdera cancerpatientens livskvalitet, samt patientens egen upplevelse av livskvalitet i det palliativa skedet, då endast en begränsad tid av livet återstod. Underlag till litteraturstudien framkom genom artikelsökning via databaserna Blackwell Synergy, Elin samt EBSCO Host. Vid sökningen användes enkla sökord eller sökord i kombination. Sökningen begränsades till svensk och engelsk litteratur.

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva blivande och legitimerade sjuksköterskors attityder och uppfattningar i behandlingen av akut smärta hos barn, samt hur blivande och legitimerade sjuksköterskor bedömer sin egen kunskapsnivå i smärthanteringen av barn med akut smärta. Datainsamling gjordes i fulltextdatabaserna ELIN@Dalarna, Blackwell Synergy och EBSCO Host. Sökord var nurse, acute pain, pain, pain management, children, nursing, assessment, pediatric, attitudes, beliefs och knowledge. Studiens resultat bygger på 16 vetenskapliga artiklar. Majoriteten av sjuksköterskorna ansåg att barn tolererar smärta sämre än vuxna och de var endast beredda att acceptera smärta hos barn i samband med mindre procedurer.

Det primära syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva hur cancerrelaterad malnutrition uppkom och hur kroppen påverkades. Vidare syftade studien till att beskriva hur patienterna upplevde nutritionsproblemen och dess konsekvenser. Studien syftade även till att beskriva hur patienternas livskvalitet påverkades av nutritionsproblemen, samt vilka åtgärder sjukvårdspersonalen kunde vidta för att förbättra nutritionen hos patienter med cancer.
