The aim of this essay is to investigate the attitudes towards religion and religious people held by a group of Swedish high school students. The main questions are; what causes these attitudes andhow do they shape the students? encounter with religion and religious people and in what way could religious education help the students problematize these attitudes?The method used is a quantitative method using a questionnaire, with a Likert scale, posing different questions about religion as such, world religion and religious people. The theoretical basis, in order to discuss the result of the questionnaire, is a gender theory and the theory of social psychology.The result of the study confirms earlier studies of youths both in Sweden and Western Europe. The result shows that there is a certain degree of negative attitudes towards religion, most of all againstIslam.

The project description is to draw an extension or annex to the existing Nationalmuseum building from 1866.The annex is designed to complement Nationalmusems activities and contain internal and public functions. Artentering the building must not be crossed by public visitors. Art and staff must be able to seamlessly move betweenthe extension and the main building. The new building includes a public study room for scholars working withthe collection of art on paper, workshops, conservation studios, art spaces and warehouses. Additionally, theannex is designed to Host a large number of office spaces.With the renovation of Nationalmuseum they intend to open up the today built in south atrium.

The most recent couple of years the boundaries of the world have been erased and we have come to live in a more global environment. It has been even more evident since the European Union has got a more prominent role in the society. It appears as obvious for most of us that we live in a changeable time and that a new, global perspective has been developed. Companies have to focus on the effect globalization and differences in culture have, to be competitive in the market today. Because of that business managers more often can come to work in other countries than their country of origin, it becomes interesting whether these managers adapt their management style or if they continue to work the same way as they did in their native country.This thesis aims to investigate if business managers with a foreign background bring along their national culture when managing a company in Sweden.

SCA is the largest private owned forest owner in Sweden, with an ownership of 2 million hectares of productive forestland. To manage the planning of such large areas and to fit the traditional organization structure of a Swedish forest company, the planning approach is subdivided into three stages; strategic, tactical and operational. The strategic part, based on a statistic sample of stands, returns a harvest level estimate which should then be implemented at actual sites in the tactical part. This procedure can lead to incompatible solutions as the strategic solution is not necessarily possible to translate into actual sites in the tactical plan. The geographic aspect is important in tactical planning due to the large costs for moving equipment and maintenance of a large number of forest roads.

Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva vilken livskvalitet barn och ungdomar med astma och deras föräldrar hade. Till resultatet användes tretton vetenskapliga artiklar publicerade tidigast år 2000. Databaserna Elin, Blackwell Synergy och Ebsco Host användes vid artikelsökningen och en manuell sökning gjordes via www.asthma.se. Sökorden asthma, child, parents, quality of life, experience och coping användes i olika kombinationer. Artikelurvalet gjordes för att passa litteraturstudiens syfte och frågeställningar och det vetenskapliga värdet i artiklarna skattades med hjälp av modifierade granskningsmallar.

This studie explores how a promotive youth movement that aims to activate adolescents in economically and socially exposed areas, can affect the youth?s participation in society and oppose their experience of stigmatization. The youth movement, whom is being studied, uses urban art expressions as a mean to engage and motivate the adolescents. The empirism has mostly been collected by a limited participatory observation, and through qualitative interviews with staff and adolescents in the movement. The result has been analyzed through Pierre Bourdieus field theory.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelser hos levertransplanterade patienter. Metod: En systematisk litteraturstudie där artiklarna är sökta i databasernaElin@Dalarna, Blackwell Synergy, EBSCO Host, CINAHL (EBSCO), PubMed, Wiley, inter Science. Sammanlagt analyserades 15 artiklar. Både kvalitativa och kvantitativa vetenskapliga artiklar ingick. Artiklarna kvalitetsgranskades med hjälp av granskningsmallar och de artiklar som var av hög eller medelhög kvalitet inkluderades.Resultat: Detta resulterade i tio kategorier; känslan av hopp och glädje samt oro, känslan avatt förlora kontrollen, tacksamhetskänsla, identitet, stöd och trygghet i återhämtningsprocessen, relation till andra och sig själv, plågsam smärta, emotionellt och fysiskt välbefinnande,önskan om att återgå till det normala livet och upplevelser av sjukvårdspersonalensstöd.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva hur människor med fibromyalgi upplever att leva med långvarig smärta, hur denna hanteras i det dagliga livet samt vilka omvårdnadshandlingar som upplevs betydelsefulla av fibromyalgidrabbade. Litteratursökningen genomfördes via Högskolan Dalarnas databaser ELIN, Blackwell Synergy och EBSCO Host med hjälp av sökord i olika kombinationer. Tre artiklar söktes manuellt. Inklusionskriterierna var att artiklarna skulle vara vetenskapliga och skrivna på engelska, svenska, norska eller danska samt vara publicerade mellan 1997-2007. Artiklarna (n=16) kvalitetsgranskades med hjälp av granskningsmallar och de artiklar som var av hög eller medelhög kvalitet inkluderades.

Modern forestry management may disadvantage some mykorrhiza forming fungi because; they are dependent on late successions and cannot survive the constantly recurring breaks in the continuity of their Host tree. For this study the specie goliatmusseron (Tricholoma matsutake) was chosen to investigate this possibility. In Sweden T. matsutake is found in greatest amounts north of Örnsköldsvik on glacifluvial sandy soils in association with pine trees and reindeer lichens. Seventy two forest stands where the specie previously had been found were studied; 62 in the northern part of Sweden and ten in the southern. Several indicators were studied to find out if these stands have had a continuity of living trees.

Previous studies of central tire inflation (CTI) in truck transport of roundwood have shown potential benefits to include more even wood flow and reduced road damage. The greatest benefits are found to be during periods of low bearing capacity such as spring thaw. No previous studies have examined geographical variations in the potential benefit of CTI-equipped trucks. The aim of the study was to develop and use a simple method for geographically prioritizing the use of CTI-equipped trucks within a forest company´s sector of activity.The Host company for the study was Holmen Skog. The area studied consisted of Holmen Skog?s entire sector of activity extending from the province of Västerbotten to the province of Småland.

?Entity continuity? refers to recurrent transcendent experiences related to certain places (?hauntings?). The experiences are often interpreted to be due to discarnate spirits or folklore entities. Although the entity continuity experience can be regarded as religious experience, they have yet to be fully explored in science of religion.The purpose of this paper was to describe entity continuity experiences and map out the scientific discussion in order to provide a psychology of religion that provides an understanding of the phenomena. For this purpose a literature study of theories of jungian psychology, parapsychology, and described experiences was undertaken.

Studien syftade dessutom till att beskriva vad familjen ansåg var mest betydelsefullt i mötet med sjuksköterskan i den palliativa vården.
