Demenssjukdomar drabbar i allt högre grad en åldrande population. Med detta följer ett antal komplikationer och problemskapande beteenden som påverkar omvårdnaden. Syftet var att undersöka på vilket sätt olika typer av musik kan ha en positiv effekt på demenspatienter och därmed underlätta och förbättra omvårdnadsarbetet. Metoden som valdes var en litteraturstudie. Som teoretisk referensram valdes Katie Erikssons omvårdnadsteori.

The Swedish school in today?s society is multicultural. One of the main questions is how to integratethese students in the Swedish society. The purpose with the study is to explore how schoolcounsellors? work to promote the integration of multicultural students and what factors can influencethe integration of these students.

The purpose of this essay was to investigate the care personnel's experience, and thoughts concerning the elderlies use of sedatives and sleeping tablets. The purpose was also to make a comparison between different forms of living, in an attempt to find out if the form of living in itself was a factor that affected the use of sedatives and sleeping-tablets.In order to investigate this, the main questions of this essay became:- To what extent do the patients use sedatives and sleeping tablets?- What is the care personnel's experience of, and thoughts about the patients' use of sedatives and sleeping tablets?To obtain answers to my questions I interviewed care personnel working at different types of homes for elderly people and working with elderly people still living at home.I came to the conclusion that where you live may also have an influence on the use of sedatives and sleeping tablets. This could be seen when a group of elderly people lived together, and some of them were suffering from dementia. Then it could happen that the elderly with dementia where given sedatives and sleeping tablets, not just in order to calm them, but also to give the others a better environment to live in..

AbstractDet byggs många nya ishockeyarenor i Sverige för tillfället och nästan alla elitseriearenor är i dagsläget namnsponsrade av stora företag. Prissättning av sponsring anses komplext och arenasponsring av ett elitserielag innebär ett mångmiljonavtal för det arenasponsrande företaget. Forskningen som existerar specifikt om arenasponsring är amerikansk och de ekonomiska förhållandena skiljer sig kraftigt ifrån de svenska vilket ger en avsaknad av kunskap. Denna kunskapslucka om arenasponsring i Sverige ska jag börja fylla igen med denna uppsats.Syftet med denna studie är att försöka generera en klarare bild av hur värdet på ett elitseriearenanamn prissätts och vilka faktorer som ligger till grund för den värderingen. Vidare kommer denna uppsats att behandla matchningen mellan sponsorn och sponsringsobjektet och undersöka båda parternas syn på samarbetet.Studien är kvalitativ och består av åtta intervjuer med representanter för Luleå Hockey, Modo Hockey, Skellefteå AIK och Timrå IK samt intervjuer med deras respektive arenasponsor som i tur och ordning är Konsum Norrbotten, Swedbank, Skellefteå Kraft och E.ON Sverige.Uppsatsen har en hermeneutisk kunskapssyn då den försöker skapa djupare förståelse för fenomenet arenasponsring.

The gender- neutral pronoun hen received much media attention in 2012.

                                  The study aimed to explore how patients with ICDs experience their quality of life with a focus on everyday life, electric shocks, and how support from the health service is perceived. The studydesign is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with seven patients. Data collection lasted for three weeks and interviews were conducted in the participant´s homes, at the participants? workplaces or over the phone.The study shows that most participants have learned to live with the ICD.

Background: Approximately one in three Swedish people will receive a cancer diagnosis. Cancer primarily affects the elderly but also young people suffer. Young people are in a period of life that could put a strain of the ordinary when they are faced with choices and new challenges. The basic sense of security in everyday life is not so obvious and many suffer from, for example, stress and the feeling of being inadequate in relation to the requirements. The aim of this paper is to investigate how teachers in Swedish schools abroad reason about their work developing the Swedish language as the students live in a non-Swedish speaking country although going to a Swedish school. Furthermore the study intends to examine the teachers' attitudes towards the impact the Swedish language has upon the school. Research questions:What thoughts do the teachers signify in reference to the language development of the students?How do the teachers reason about the role of the Swedish language in the school?In order to answer these questions, qualitative measures has been used in terms of observations and interviews. The study is based upon a social constructivist perspective with the idea that reality is socially constructed.

This essay aims to examine and compare the attitudes of decision makers in the local government and representatives of pensioners in two different geographic areas. The house has been entirely planned, from layout to structural design and plumbing.The purpose of the paper has been to investigate the possibilities in home automation in singlefamilyhomes and to choose a suitable home automation system for the house being planned.The system has been designed and the costs and energy savings have been calculated.The system chosen for the house is called KNX and is the largest system for home automation inSweden. It is used to control heating, ventilation, lighting and alarm systems in the house. The purpose of this study is to research into the role of the citizen and the educational system in Sweden throughout periods of time based on previous theoretic works, and also to deepen the understanding of students with special needs in Swedish education focusing on the primary school years. This shall be carried out by illustrating the different points of view and choices within the educational system that are at hand for students with concentration difficulties and social difficulties.I will analyze these points through a cultural and social perspective on contemporary society in order to contribute towards today?s discourse on the norm. The result of this empirical investigation presents a dilemma existing in the democratic educational system of today. Nationally and internationally, the educational system has been structured around a normative system containing both rights and duties that effect everyone working within it.
