Summary The place I have been working with is a garden, belonging to a family estate, called Tolvmansgården. It is located on an island northeast of Norrtälje in Roslagen. The frontage is red with white corners like so many other houses in the neighbourhood, but ours is one of the oldest houses on the island. Today the house and garden is own by my mother, Pia Johansson. Since I?ve started my education in garden design my interest for our country garden has increased.

Policy document conversion in practice ? a qualitative study of five upper grade teachers approach to the 2011 policy documents in history.This essay examines five upper grade teachers approach to the new 2011 policy documents in the history school subject, as well as it?s impact on the teachers class room activities. Also, the study examines what factors have influenced this conversion process. Colleagues, the school management and the Swedish Skolverket (the Swedish school management organisation, controlled by the Swedish government) are in this study the main external influences that are studied. The study is carried out with an organisation theoretical approach, witch states that controlling the schools practical activities is hard, taking in to account a great variety of ?problems? that follow a teachers every day work.

Problem:I dag finns det ett stort behov av säkra identifierings metoder på Internet. Traditionellt sätt är en handskriven namnteckning en form av identifiering och vad som behövs är en elektronisk motsvarighet. Hypotes: "Elektroniska signaturer leder till ökad integritet och säkerhet vid identifiering på Internet" Syfte: Målet och syftet med denna uppsats är att studera och analysera huruvida elektroniska signaturer kommer att bidra till ökad integritet och säkerhet vid identifiering på Internet. Slutsats:Genom att jämföra praktiska erfarenheter (fallstudie) och teoretiska kriterier kunde vi analysera oss fram till att vår hypotes är sann.

Den här uppsatsen handlar om de 15 konfirmandböckerna som utgavs mellan 1920-25. Vad böckerna innehåller, hur de är strukturerade och vilka referenser/hänvisningar som författarna gör. Syftet med denna intervjustudie är att med en vetenskapligt kvalitativ metod undersöka hur motivation hos elever skapas utifrån yrkesverksamma historielärares perspektiv, samt hur detta skapande förhåller sig till motivationsteorier. Sju lärare fördelat på två grundskolor och ett gymnasium, har intervjuats. Svaren från intervjuerna har bearbetats separat och sedan analyserats utifrån motivationsteorier. Resultatet visar att lärarna ser egenskaperna i rollen som lärare vara den primära faktorn i skapandet av motivation hos eleverna. Dessa är att vara en god berättare, engagerad, ha goda ämneskunskaper och ha förmåga att kunna beröra elever.

This bachelor thesis portray a project where the main task were to develop a computer based system prototype for handling of absence report at the upper secondary school af Chapman in Karlskrona. The project has been conducted in cooperation with students from the university programs software engineering and information economy at Blekinge Institute of Technology. Our task as MDA-students have been to survey the process of absence report of today through field studies and give a proposal of a graphical user interface which later were developed by the software engineers. The thesis also handles the cooperation with other students from other university programs..

Uppsasten vill ge svar på vilka förutsättningar som måste anses uppfyllda för att ett varumärke skall erhålla skydd genom inarbetning. Dessa förutsättningar har beskrivits med utgångspunkt i 2§ 3st VmL. Fokus i uppsatsen har även legat på marknadundersökningens roll vid fastställande av inarbetning. Där har en intervju genomförts med en representant från Stokholms handelskammares varumärkesnämnd. Varumärkesnämnden låter olika undersökningsföretag utföra diverse marknadsundersökningar.

Kolonialismen har av många pekats ut som en central anledning till den avsaknad av ekonomisk tillväxt som idag kännetecknar Afrika. Genom en analys av tre aspekter som är teoretiskt sammankopplade med kolonialismen, den ensidiga handeln, avsaknaden av regional handel samt försämrade bytesvillkor besvaras frågan om hur kolonialismen förändrade den Västafrikanska handeln. Diskussio¬nen går sedan över till hur dessa förändringar i sin tur påverkade regionens förut¬sättningar för ekonomisk tillväxt. Analysen tar sin början med kolonialismens intåg i regionen kring 1885 och sträcker sig fram till nutid. Slutsatsen är att även om kolonialismen förde med sig ett antal förändringar, såsom en kraftigt ökad handel med Europa och kroniska bytesunderskott, är det tydligt att den inte för¬ändrade den grundläggande handelsstrukturen i Västafrika.

In this thesis I set out to study how the reading of fictional literature is viewed, legitimatized and operationalized in two educational domains: the recently revised steering documents that all Swedish teachers must relate to, as well as a selection of teaching materials designed for education in the Swedish language for upper secondary school. The teaching material I have studied has been recently updated in order to correspond with the new steering documents. I relate my analysis to previous research about the use of fiction in education, and I also combine my analysis of the two educational domains to see whether the underlying intentions of the steering documents have influenced the revision of the teaching material. The outcome indicates that the steering documents? previous focus on culture has diminished although a certain insecurity as to how to use the concept and deal with the issue of whose culture should be taught can be identified.

Detta projekt fokuserar på distansstudenter och deras studiesituation i tre nätbaserade kurser. Genom en empirisk studie bestående av samtal med studenter och lärare, samt deltagande observation, har vi försökt finna lösningar för att förbättra studenternas lärandemiljö. De sociala faktorerna visade sig vara av stor betydelse i en studieform som tidigare kännetecknats av isolation mellan studenter och lärare. As a framework we rely on the method outlined by Pierre Bourdieu when he approaches the cultural and social worlds through the concept of fields. To understand the female position during that time we use Michel Foucault?s work about the history of sex, Thomas Laqueur?s theories about the rise of sexes and Karin Johannisson?s study about the exploration of the dark continent (i.e.

Abstract Spiritual gardening, historical perspective and epistemology, - how do these concepts connect? A review of the ideologies of four pragmatic growers. The purpose of this thesis is: ? to present an alternative forthcoming perspective on knowledge, that may be of significance for future theories and knowledge about growing and gardening. ? to lift experiences with Nature Spirits into an academic context, that permits us a closer look at the phenomenon. ? to contribute to an academic platform connecting humanistic and natural sciences. The intention of this text is to bridge the differences between the strictly rational traditions of knowledge and those more experience based ones. The thesis wants to show that much can be won if feeling based and mental reflections once again are approached as equal sources of knowledge. The aim is to give an orientation about the subject of Nature Spirits. The interesting fact is not whether (that) one can talk to nature, but how one does it and that more can be understood about nature and the reality that the established sciences study. The form for this study of literature is a describing presentation; to put names on and give wording to the phenomena of Nature Spirits and Plantdevas. The sources of literature are four pragmatic practitioners of spiritual gardening who have written extensively about their own work.
