Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka filmiska skildringar av kvinnor och deras sexualitet samt att analysera och diskutera skildringarna utifrån teorier om genus, makt och film. Arbetet görs utifrån ett feministiskt perspektiv där premissen är att kvinnor underordnas män på grund av sitt kön och att filmens narrativa struktur är utformad efter patriarkala språkstrukturer. Uppsatsens syfte är att i studier av fyra amerikanska långfilmer hitta strukturer och variationer för att utifrån ett poststrukturalistiskt perspektiv kunna föra resonemang kring hur karaktärer positioneras och agerar; en viktig utgångspunkt är att strukturer är instabila och formas av de agenter som verkar inom dem. Poststrukturalistiska tankegångar har även format arbetets gestaltande del där diskuterade strukturer lyfts fram i fyra bilder som skildrar ett sexuellt möte. Gestaltningen har inspirerats bland annat av de filmiska skildringarna och har utformats i samband med resonemangen i uppsatsen.

Projektet och examinationen är uppdelad i två delar. En reflekterande del och en produktion. Den reflekterande delen handlar om att vi ska få svar på de frågor vi ställde oss innan projektets start. Dessa frågor (se projektplanen) ska vi nu ha ett svar på samt att vi nu ska kritiskt granska vår process samt arbete. Vi måste också kunna svara på frågan om vi uppnådde de mål som vi satte upp i starten av projektet.

Ever since ABB has begun diecasting their rotors instead of permanent mold casting it,variation in the quality of the cast has arisen. Diecasting is performed in three differentmachines, M1, M2, M3 with 400, 660 respectively 800 tons of die locking pressures.The aim of this thesis is to answer the following questions:What is the ?right? cast quality? How is the right quality achieved?For sizes 160-180 solutions will be proposed that consider eccentricity between thelaminate and the short circuit ring as well as elimination of the thin Al film that appearson the outer periphery of the rotors.Through considering the statistic material the most often diverging rotor type has beenidentified and one of the actual rotors has been sent to a laboratory to be analyzed inorder to establish the current defects. The result of the analysis shows that there areplenty of gas- and oxide-porosity.It has been proved that every time the dies temperature decreased below 120°C thecontent of gas porosity increased. It is due to rapid solidification of metal that flowsthrough the ?cold? laminate.It has confirmed that enhanced porosity in squirrel cage causes high impedance in therotors.

This study deals with the Adventure Comic Prince Valiant, written and designed by the Canadian artist Harold R. Foster. Focus is on the first two years of publication 1937-1938, where the hero is pictured in his Adolescence. This gives the title of the study: Youth. Earlier writings in the USA on this topic, have concentrated on the artist and less on analyses of the comic itself.

Sectra Mameas is a medical technology company in an expansive phase that is planning to increase its volume capacity with 50 % in the beginning of 2009. This to be able to deliver the increased number of systems that the customers request. To be able to produce more units the takt time of the assembly line needs to be shortened. This could only be done by identifying and solving recurring problems. To be able to find the problems, create a common knowledge of which these are and eliminate them the production department of Sectra Mamea needs to visualize certainKey Performance Indicators (KPI) in the organization.

Simuleringen av vätskor är idag en viktig del inom både film-, spel- och reklamindustrin. Detta kräver dock mycket av hårdvaran vilket saktar ner processen att rendera markant. I detta projekt forskades det inom optimering av renderingstekniker för att göra det lättare att rendera fram kvalitativa resultat när man använder sig av fluids i program för 3D-grafik. Arbetet innehåller en undersökning där testpersoner bedömt ett antal renderingar samt de optimerade inställningar som används till rendering.

This paper examines how the ideal of manhood is portrayed and constructed and how the participation of Swedish soldier volunteers are motivated and legitimatized. The purpose of this examination is to gain understanding and knowledge about the Swedish soldiers in the Swedish brigade, how they legitimatize and motivate their participation and how the ideal of manhood is portrayed and constructed. The study is based on material from the war archive in Stockholm. The empirical material is composed by letters and propaganda material. In the analysis of the empirical study, there have been two theories used which are Eric Hobsbawms historical method and theory about invented traditions and Peter Aronssons historical method and theory about ?historiebruk? and legitimacy.

Sjukhusets interiör och design i patientrummet är en viktig del som kan förbättra det känslomässiga välbefinnandet och bli en tillgång för patienten eller ge motsatt effekt om den fysiska miljön är bristfällig. Syftet med examensarbetet är att beskriva vilka aspekter i vårdrummet som är av betydelse för patienters upplevelse av sin vårdtid. Hur sjukhusrummets interiör och atmosfär påverkar patienten både fysiologiskt och psykologiskt är av intresse för oss som sjuksköterskor, därför gjordes denna litteraturstudie med nio vetenskapliga artiklar, både kvalitativa och kvantitativa. I resultatet identifierades tre olika teman: rummets utformning, fysisk miljö och social miljö. Analysprocessen har genomförts enligt modell från Axelsson (2008).

Social work is a profession where documentation about people?s behavior and life circumstances is common. In the beginning of the essay we ask ourselves, if these descriptions about people can be problematic? To explore this, we studied social documentation, from the past. We used a historical source because history can help usunderstand the social work that is being conducted today.

Denna uppsats belyser visualiseringen av nazismens epok i Tyskland och Förintelsen genom de tyska filmatiseringarna som skildras utifrån förövarens perspektiv. De två filmer som analyseras i uppsatsen är Dennis Gansels Führerns elit (2004) och Jo Baiers Attentatet mot Hitler (2004). Det som är intressant med de här filmerna är hur intällningen till nazismens ideologi har ändrats och hur nazismen tacklas med våra nutida värderingar. Metoden sker genom en närläsning av hur filmerna rent visuellt uttrycker den nazistiska ideologin, främst motståndsmässigt. För att få en större inblick i nazismens människo- och samhällssyn är Harald Ofstads definitioner kring de nazistiska värderingarna de tyngsta bland de teoretiska utgångspunkterna.

The purpose of this thesis was to examine the ways in which the constructions of heterosexuality and gender in three Disney movies about princesses affect the power relations between men and women in the movies, and how discourses on gender and heterosexuality have changed over time. Research questions were:How do characters in the movies talk about gender and heterosexuality?How does the interplay between gender and heterosexuality affect the power relations between men and women in the movies?What are the likenesses and differences between movies from different time periods?Discourses were mapped out using a model based on Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe?s political theories. These discourses were then analyzed with a theoretical framework consisting of Yvonne Hirdman?s concept of gender system and gender contracts, Judith Butler?s view on the heterosexual matrix and an understanding of power relations based on Michel Foucault.

This study examines whether or not there are inherit flaws in Swedish legislation concerning psychiatric institutional care, or in the application of the act, which might lead to the failure of rule of law for the private citizen. Law (1991:1128) concerning psychiatric institutional care in certain instances (LPIC) aims to establish rules which will ensure rule of law for the mentally ill in case of psychiatric institutional care. Despite this, there are legal cases which indicate that these rules, and their implications, are not always considered at the psychiatric wards.The questions at issues which this study aims to answer are thus: Are there any deficiencies concerning rule of law in LPIC 2?3 §§, 4?6 §§, 7?10 §§,15?25 §§ and 32?33 §§ ? This section focuses on LPIC and its design. Whether or not the act adheres to rule of law is examined through a definition which has evolved through discussions of concept based in Peczeniks definition of rule of law.

Bakgrund: Skolios kan bero på många olika orsaker. Beroende på dess orsak delas den in i strukturell och funktionell skolios. Vid idiopatisk skolios finns ingen känd orsak och dessa patienter utgör 80 % av de strukturella skolioserna. Det är vanligt att idiopatisk skolios upptäcks hos barn som är 10-12 år. Patienter med idiopatisk skolios kan komma att genomgå flera radiologiska undersökningar och det är därför viktigt att använda så låg stråldos som möjligt.Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att ta reda på hur stora stråldoser patienter med skolios får i samband med konventionella undersökningar.
