We have in this study preformed a quantitative examination on how hooligans use film and new technologies to spread private videos on the Internet. With today´s technologies it is very easy for hooligans to publish their videos. In this study, we have choosen to do a questionnaire poll based on seven questions about what people think of hooliganviolence on online video sharing sites. We have also conducted an online interview with a former swedish hooligan. The people who participated in our study are all anonymous, and therefore we have no age or gender included in our study.

Vad händer när någon avviker från dessa normer och föreställningar?Jag har i min litteraturstudie funnit flera olika teoretiska perspektiv som är knutna till det vida begreppet kultur. Jag har närläst undersökningar där man kan studera hur norm, ideal och avvikelse, både i teorin och i praktiken, genererar normativa identiteter.De resultat jag har sett är att det görs skillnad på pojkar och flickor redan när barnen går på dagis. Denna åtskillnad att tjejer bland annat inte får ta för stor plats i det offentliga rummet eller höras för mycket eller att pojkar inte får bli för "lipiga" tar sin början innan barnen har en möjlighet att ta ställning till begreppen man eller kvinna. This essay examines a small selection of Swedish newsreel and documentary short films, primarily travelogues, produced shortly before and after the second world war. The general aim is to expose differences in the representation of ?The Other? and the ?ethnic Swede? by applying a critical discourse analysis. The purpose is to illuminate how the material positions the latter as the norm and then contextualize this with xenophobic currents that had developed up until the middle of the twentieth century. Theoretical and methodological framework is drawn from the field of cultural studies as well as the nonfiction film.

The purpose of this essay is to inquire whether there are any resemblance or differences in the Migrationperiod textiles between the three places that I have chosen, Högom in Sweden, Evebø and Snartemo in Norway. Another purpose is to investigate if this magnificencedressmaterial indicate some kind of mental borders, social differences or hierarchy not only towards other powerful chieftains in other areas but also inside there own society and groups, a dresscode. In other words both individually locally as regionally and internationally. If there are resemblance's between the dressmaterial, gravefinds and the graves context could that be a sign of the same sphere of power, alliances, trading, intentional import, domesticproduction, culturedistribution? My aim in this essay is to try to show that the textile ought to have a higher significance place among archaeological material.

The aim of the essay is to investigate how the term ?Third world? is constructed in media. With this I intend to make a historical survey of the conception. With the help of Swedish newspapers and their description of the concept, I am going to answer the following questions: How is the concept ?Third world? constructed in script, in a historical context and in modern time? Is there a tendency of racism in the term?The method I used was discourse analysis.

Monster fyller en väldigt viktig roll i dagens skräckfilm och skräckspel där en av deras största uppgifter är att vara skrämmande. Denna uppsats är en studie som fokuserar på hur man designar skrämmande monster inom spel och film. Vi har, med hjälp av teoretiska tolkningar, tagit reda på faktorer som kan påverka vad människor ser som monster samt hur man kan göra monstret skrämmande på en kognitiv nivå. Exempel på sådana här faktorer är kultur, etnicitet, religion. Även sexism och rasism har en betydelse i detta samband.

AbstractSyftet med detta arbete är att ta reda på om Bollywoodfilmer innehåller korta eller långa sekvenser med mindre ingående eller mer ingående sekvenser med religiöst innehåll. Detta har genomförts genom att jag först har skaffat en bakgrundskunskap om filmindustrin Bollywood, om Indien, och om hinduismen.                      För att genomföra undersökningen studerades fem Bollywoodfilmer och alla sekvenser med religiöst innehåll antecknades. Dessa sekvenser analyserades sedan och fick antingen stämpeln kort, mindre ingående eller längre, mer ingående.                       Resultatet blev att antalet sekvenser i filmerna varierar väldigt mycket från film till film. En film kunde innehålla endast kortare mindre ingående sekvenser eller många korta mindre ingående sekvenser och flera längre mer ingående sekvenser. Något som dock påverkade antalet sekvenser i filmerna var speltiden, de längre filmerna innehåller fler sekvenser än de kortare filmerna.Slutresultatet är att de kortare, mindre ingående sekvenserna är klart dominerande i Bollywoodfilmer. Nyckelord: Bollywood, hinduismen, Indien, Tid av glädje tid av sorg, Paheli, Lagaan, Marigold, Devdas..

Syftet med vårt examensarbete var att undersöka huruvida lärares intention vid filmvisning överensstämmer med elevernas reception av samma film. Om dessa två faktorer inte överensstämde, ville vi även titta närmare på vad det var som styrde efterarbetet av filmvisningen: lärarens intention eller elevernas reception? Dessutom ville vi undersöka om det var någon skillnad på elevernas reception om läraren innan filmvisningen antingen berättade respektive inte berättade om filmen eller gav respektive inte gav anvisningar om vad de skulle titta på i filmen. Undersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av intervju med en lärare, observationer under filmen, enkäter i anslutning till filmen och observationer av lärarens eftersamtal med eleverna. Resultatet av vår studie visade att elevernas och lärarens reception av en och samma film divergerar men att det är lärarens intention som främst styr efterarbetet.

The project objective was to make parts of our cultural heritage available as a resource for learning, by developing the pedagogical activities on a medieval castle, that today functions as a museum. I also wanted to explore the role of a designer in a process that aims to develop the interaction between schools and cultural institutions.By a selection of objects and locations in the castle, illustrations with accompanying texts were made, which through the children?s imaginative ability may bring them to a historical scenario. This resulted in a working material that supports the children?s activities and reflections during their visit to the castle.

En film om en lärare, hans personlighet och mötet med eleverna.

This thesis explores the narrow spaces between closely built houses in the over 300-year-old wooden town center of Mariestad, Sweden, and their potential as time capsules and sources of knowledge in cultural-historical building investigations. By interpreting well-preserved carpentry work on a facade in one of these spaces, the study aims to provide an example of how these preserved spaces can serve as a source of knowledge and understanding of craftsmanship and the history of the place. The thesis also addresses the municipality of Mariestad's work with cultural heritage, as well as maps out more of these potentially interesting interstitial spaces. Old Swedish wooden towns possess a high degree of uniqueness both nationally and internationally; nevertheless, they are subjected to relatively significant threats of demolitions and substantial changes, often in the form of many smaller restorations or changes over a long period of time. The focus of the case study is a window from the 16th or 17th century and the facade's old, hand planed wooden cladding.

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka vilka känslor och associationer elever vid gymnasiets estetiska program får vid lyssning av musik som är för tänkt för film, men utan bild. Utifrån att endast lyssna på musiken vill jag se om elevernas tolkningar förefaller lika varandra och om det finns genusskillnader. Jag vill utforska musikens så kallade ?koder? som styr våra sinnen mot en speciell riktning och på vilka sätt den kan manipulera oss. Jag valde att spela upp fem delstycken (satser) av en komposition jag skrivit, avsedd att illustrera ett händelseförlopp i form av en filmsynopsis.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine whether there exists a hegemonic relationship between librarians and users of libraries with a focus on the librarians point of view. The future of movies in the library is also going to be examined. Qualitative interviews were conducted and were examined for signs of hegemony and habitus according to the respective theories. The results of these interviews showed that librarians were in favor of user suggestions to improve the libraries collection. We found that there exists a hegemonic relationship in the libraries, but that it was subliminal and unwanted.

The subject of religion in Swedish schools is the single most talked about topic in the curriculum. One explanation could be that it is the oldest subject in Swedish schools and the topic has undergone the biggest change through time. This process of change has been anything but undebated. The subject of religion within schools has met debates through almost its entire history, partly from the state and from the church, but also from the teachers and the students. Debates concerning the existence of Christianity in Swedish schools as well as the Swedish traditions constantly reoccur in today?s government debates and various media but in different versions.
