This report is a study in voltagelevel in connection with regeneration of brake energy from the tramtype M31 in Gothenburg.In the act of braking, the tram M31 uses electrical braking where the electrical motors generates energy and if possible send it back to the overheadline, where other trams in the nearby can use this regenerated energy for its own driving force. In cases where no other energyconsumers are located in the same section, there is a resistance witch task is to convert this energy into heat. The regulation of this resistance appears to cause an increase in the voltagelevel into far too high levels.Investigations of the trams regulationequipment and its construction have been done. Psykologisk påfrestning för blivande och nyutexaminerade intensivvårdssjuksköterskor

Arbetet inom intensivvården kräver mycket av intensivvårdssjuksköterskan. Patienterna är mycket sjuka med svikt i vitala organ, anhöriga som kan vara i chock ska omhändertas, tekniskt krävande utrustning som ständigt utvecklas och förnyas skall bemästras. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur psykologiskt påfrestande olika preciserade vårdsituationer inom intensivvården upplevs bland studerande samt nyutexaminerade intensivvårdssjuksköterskor.Enkäter med frågor tagna ur CeFAMs (Centrum för Allmän Medicin) undersökning "Att förebygga psykisk belastning i sjukvårdsarbete", besvarades av 23 nyutexaminerade intensivvårdssjuksköterskor på tre olika intensivvårdsavdelningar i Stockholm samt av 17 deltagare i en specialistsjuksköterskeutbildning inom intensivvård. Studien visar att informanterna ofta utsätts för psykologisk påfrestning, och vårdsituationer som oväntade dödsfall och vård av döende patienter ansågs i studien vara psykologiskt påfrestande. Andra psykologiskt påfrestande områden var bland annat oro för att göra fel, att ha ett för stort eget ansvar, att ställas inför snabba avgörande beslut och att ta emot en ny patient.

Livskvalitet hos kvinnor som överlevt bröstcancer : En litteraturstudie

Syftet: Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur implementeringen av och följsamheten till en ny lokal riktlinje, Tidig Upptäckt och Behandling (TUB), upplevdes av TUB-instruktörerna på Akademiska sjukhuset.Metod: Studien hade en kvalitativ, deskriptiv design och baserades på två fokusgruppsintervjuer. Båda intervjuerna var semistrukturerade och bandades. Bearbetningen av analysen utfördes enligt metoden för kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat: Resultatet av analysen resulterade i tre huvudkategorier. I domänen Implementering av TUB kunde Utbildning och Rutiner urskiljas och i domänen Följsamhet till TUB identifierades Upplevda effekter. Till varje huvudkategori identifierades hjälpare samt barriärer.Slutsats: TUB-instruktörerna upplevde att det behövdes ett ledningsengagemang för implementering av TUB.

Bakgrund: När föräldrar får reda på att deras barn har en kronisk sjukdom som diabetes väcks många frågor och funderingar. Funderingar om livet här och nu, men också om framtiden. För det lilla barnet blir det föräldrarnas uppgift att ansvara för skötseln av sjukdomen men även det större barnet behöver hjälp och stöd från sina föräldrar. Också föräldrarna står mitt i kaoset och har egna upplevelser. Problem: Ett barn med diabetes påverkar hela familjens livssituation, både själsligt och praktiskt.

Upplevd nyhetsrapportering och associerade känslor i samband med katastrofer : En explorativ studie

Föreliggande explorativa studie ämnade undersöka hur representanter från POSOM-grupper (psykiskt och socialt omhändertagande vid olyckor och katastrofer) upplevde nyhetsrapporteringen i samband med Estoniakatastrofen och Flodvågskatastrofen med avseende på korrekthet i nyhetsbevakningen och fokusering på anhöriga. Vidare ämnade den explorativa studien undersöka känslor associerade till nyhetsrapporteringen samt om det fanns någon relation mellan upplevd nyhetsrapportering och associerade känslor. Två identiska e-enkäter frånsett betingelsen Estoniakatastrofen respektive Flodvågskatastrofen skickades slumpmässigt till Sveriges 290 kommuner. Studien baserades på 117 representanter från POSOM-grupper. Föreliggande studie påvisar hög grad av korrekthet i nyhetsbevakningen.

Successful broiler production in hot climates requires knowledge of how birds are affected by heat stress. It is important with access to water and good ventilation to facilitate coping with the heat. It may be useful to reduce the consumption of feed during the hottest hours of the days, which together with a few hours of extra light available could improve both productivity and animal welfare. The vision in birds is superior to that of humans and most other mammals. Continuous light and light with low intensity can cause eye injuries, affect the eye development in young chicken negatively, as well as provide increased incidence of foot pad lesions. Access to light affects the production but also the welfare of birds.

Livet efter arbetslivet: en studie om anpassnings- och övergångsprocessen i samband med pensionering

Pensioneringen är för individen förknippad med olika förändringar som till exempel inträdet till ett nytt livsstadium, nya sociala roller, ändrad ekonomi och ändrad livsstil. Pensioneringen har tidigare betraktats ur ett eländesperspektiv och fokus har legat på att pensioneringen inneburit ?chock? och ?trauma? för individens livskvalitet och välbefinnande men de empiriska resultat som har framkommit har inte visat detsamma. Några enkla samband mellan arbete och pensionering har ej hittats utan pensioneringen bör snarare ses som en process. Detta examensarbete syftar till att undersöka vad pensioneringen innebär för individens livskvalitet och välbefinnande i termer av roll- och aktivitetsförändring och till att identifiera faktorer som bidrar till god anpassning till livet efter arbetslivet.
