Mer än 200 miljoner barn i skolåldern är överviktiga. I skolan har skolsköterskan en viktiguppgift att identifiera barn med övervikt i ett tidigt skede. Syftet med litteraturstudien var attbeskriva skolsköterskans möjligheter och begränsningar i det hälsofrämjande arbetet gällandeövervikt och fetma hos skolbarn i åldern 6-12. Metoden var systematisk litteraturstudie meddeduktiv ansats. Studien innefattade 13 artiklar som analyserades med kvalitativinnehållsanalys.

Lots of choices are to be made by a company who enters a new market with a new businessidea. Common questions that show up when a company is making it´s businessplan are how to target the market and how to use marketing as a tool to reach a specific customer or segment. It is difficult to know wether to target the market in different ways and what processes that can be used in the choice how to select the most potential and profitable customer. Another important question is how a company can positioning themself in a way so the customer will get a positive understanding of the company and what different positive abilities to mention in a possible businessproposal. This study is made on a small company in Sweden called AYEN Technology.

Background: Breastfeeding frequency decrease in Sweden and infants born preterm is a particularly vulnerable group to not be breastfed according to current recommendations. Mothers of preterm infants have an extra need of support from the health care system. Mothers' self-efficacy in breastfeeding affects the outcome of breastfeeding. Health professionals' attitudes to breastfeeding have an impact on the breast feeding support they provide to the mothers.Aim: To investigate whether an intervention could strengthen self-efficacy in breastfeeding among mothers of premature babies. A further aim was to investigate whether the intervention influenced health professionals' attitudes to breastfeeding.Method/Design: An experimental study with quantitative approach in the form of questionnaire survey was conducted.

This essay tries to explain how Swedish donor organisations are working with democracy in foreign aid. Three case studies of Sida, LO-TCO Biståndsnämnd and Rädda Barnen aims to give an overview of Swedish donor organisations, their work with democracy aid, evaluation and the problems with foreign aid. With Carothers theory of democracy aiding I analyse the success of Swedish democracy promotion, how civil society contributes to democratizaion and how democracy is measured.I find that Swedish democracy aid overall is successful due to a wider perspective of the term democracy. When democracy involves human rights it gives the donor a possibility to work with democracy promotion in a more extensive area and especially in the civil society. The essay stresses the importance of being subjective when evaluating and that one have to focus on the definition of democracy in each specific case.

The digitization in the Swedish health care sector is rapidly growing. This study investigates whether the digitalization in health care has led to higher quality and an increased value for patients. Interviews with staff in various health care professional categories were conducted to qualitatively study how the implementation of digitization is perceived in practice by those directly involved. Furthermore, an observation was made, where a doctor was followed duringa workday to study the different digitalization software tools that are being used. Previous studies and other relevant literature accompanied the study of digitalization in health care. Organizational theories were compared with the practical organization management at the studied health care organization, as well as their dependence on other authorities and companies.

As students of graphic design the craft of print is close to our hearts. One of the most essential mediums of the evolution of printing techniques is the poster. In a world where digital mediums are being utilized to a greater degree everyday, our love for the printed poster makes us wonder if the days of the poster are counted.What we did was to take a closer look at the role of the poster in promoting events. We focused on the Stockholm area and did qualitative interviews with three different event promoters. Live Nation which is an international live entertainment promoter, Dramaten which is one of Sweden?s most well respected theaters and Stockholm Live which is a stand up comedy promoter in Stockholm city.From doing this we learned that economics play an important part in defining the role of the poster.

The purpose of this study is to illustrate if structural factors to welfare indicators and the internal organisation of handle social assistance in combination with dominating ways of living with their values and norms can be used to explain why the costs of social assistance are low in Säffle township. The character of this study is exploratory, though important aspects in this case was unknown. The empiricism come from descriptive secondary statistics and from qualitative interwievs with three inhabitants in Säffle, whom are experts which means they know the township of Säffle and it´s inhabitants well. Säffle has been studied from four perspectives, of which the first two have a top- or macroperspective. In the study appears two divergent pictures.

Background: Homelessness is increasing, and health care is still difficult for many homeless people to achieve. If they get sick, it is both technically challenging to get a clinic they can go to, but also an economic problem because most of the homeless have no gainful employment. The fact that many homeless people experience bad attitudes of health care professionals is one reason why they don?t seek healthcare until an emergency arises. In the profession as a nurse, all people should be given equal treatment regardless of background.

AimThe aim of this study was to evaluate the activity recorded with electromyography (EMG) fine-wire electrodes, in transversus abdominis (TrA) and rectus abdominis (RA) while performing various stabilization exercises, and to investigate how the level of activation was affected by specific instructionsMethodTen physically active women (27.1 ± 5.5year, 1.74 ± 0.05 m, 67.1 ± 8.6 kg) performed six different stabilization exercises (four lying supine with bent knees and hips and two in four point kneeling). They performed two sets of exercises, the first without and the second with specific instructions. The specific instruction was ?abdominal hollowing to activate? TrA. The fine-wire electrodes were inserted bilateral into TrA and RA with an injection needle with guidance from an ultrasound.

Thirteen percent of the Swedish children declare that they have been beaten by their parents or other adults. While interviewing these children it has been discovered that they want adults to talk to them more about the violence they have experienced. Through intense research the understanding of the importance of asking patients about violence has deepened, during the last years and this year a new Swedish law has been instituted about the matter. The Swedish school nurses work shall be health promoting and preventive, due to the Swedish law about schooling. In this work the school nurses have an institutionalized task in performing health consultations with every one of the Swedish children.

This study aims to examine the effect management control systems have on which goals health centers prioritize. The management control systems of one privately owned and one publicly owned health center have been studied through a qualitative case study. Robert Simons (1995) framework with four levers of control (diagnostic control systems, interactive control systems, belief systems and boundary systems) has been used to structure the study. For both health centers we found a conflict of interest mainly between the diagnostic control system and the beliefs system, where the diagnostic control system is biased towards quantitative goals and the beliefs system is mainly biased towards qualitative goals. However, despite the unbalanced levers of control the studied health centers have been able to reach a well functioning compromise between quantitative and qualitative goals..

Inledning: Trots den positiva utvecklingen av folkhälsan i Sverige har skillnaderna i hälsa mellan olika befolkningsgrupper ökat sen 1980-talet. En strategi som kan användas för att minska skillnaderna i hälsa är att arbeta hälsofrämjande på lokal nivå.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att ta reda på hur personalen upplever arbetet med det folkhälsoprojekt som ska genomföras och tanken som finns med att delar av projektet ska kunna implementeras i den ordinarie verksamheten.Metod: Till denna studie har använts en kvalitativ metod där datainsamlingen skett genom intervjuer och analyserats med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat: Resultaten visar på att personalen överlag var positivt inställd till att arbeta med folkhälsoprojektet och till att försöka få in fungerande delar i ordinarie verksamhet.Personalen ser också till övervägande del positivt på den samverkan som finns. De hinder som finns, både på lång och kort sikt, rör framför allt det organisatoriska.Slutsats: Personalen har en medvetenhet om hälsa och en positiv syn på att arbeta hälsofrämjande. Det finns förutsättningar för folkhälsoprojektet att lyckas om man ser till varje mötesplats egna möjligheter och behov. Samverkan ses som positivt, vilken är en förutsättning för att hälsofrämjande arbete ska lyckas.

Skolsköterskans arbete är en viktig del i det hälsofrämjande arbetet då forskning visar att den psykiska ohälsan hos elever ökar vilket kan leda till sämre prestationsförmåga eller att eleverna inte klarar av att slutföra sina studier. Syftet med studien var att beskriva skolsköterskans upplevelse vid arbetet med att främja högstadieelevers psykiska hälsa. Sex skolsköterskor från två kommuner i Skåne intervjuades efter ett strategiskt urval utifrån demografisk data. Intervjutexterna bearbetades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet i studien presenteras med ett övergripande tema; samverkan och god organisation med ett elevcentrerat perspektiv för att främja den psykiska hälsan som är en förutsättning för att det hälsofrämjande arbetet skall kunna bedrivas framgångsrikt.
