I masteroppgaven Et blikk på dirigentens prøveteknikk ser jeg på hvordan en dirigent danner sin egen prøveteknikk gjennom tre ulike produksjoner. For å skape en god prøveteknikk er det viktig å tenke på flere parametre når man arbeider med ensemblene man dirigerer. Repertoarvalg, tidsrammer og besetning påvirker hvordan man som dirigent velger å forberede seg og gjennomføre prøver med profesjonelle ensembler. I tillegg skal prøveteknikken hjelpe dirigenten å nå sine kunstneriske ambisjoner og mål.Grunnlaget for denne oppgaven er tre kunstneriske produksjoner hvor jeg har dirigert ensemblene Gävle Symfoniorkester, Norrbotten Neo og Musikkhøgskolens Blåseorkester. Dette er utdrag fra den kunstneriske praksisen jeg har hatt gjennom mastergradsstudiet i dirigering ved Musikkhøgskolen i Piteå, Luleå tekniska universitet.

This affecting on the nature in a negative way and especially in rivers and lakes that are affected by siltation and acidification leading to increased levels of heavy metals and methyl mercury. The purpose of this study was to investigate why there is damage to the ground when working with the slash in forest management from the forest officer point of view. A self-designed questionnaire was used and 45 questionnaires were sent out to various companies all over Sweden.

The purpose of this study is to examine what factors that motivate people to work in professions with an explicit and inherent risk of threats and violence. By using a qualitative study and conducting in-depth interviews with eight security guards and doormen with experience from working at restaurants and nightclubs, the study could conclude that the interviewed security guards and doormen were motivated mainly by economic incentives and the social interaction that the profession entails. Status and riskiness of the profession did also, to a certain extent, contribute to the motivation. The professions' lack of advancement opportunities were frequently mentioned as the main reason to why one chose to leave the position, or consider the time in the profession as limited..

A large amount of our time is spent indoors in an artificial climate. To make the experience pleasant there are requirements on the ventilation and the heating system. At the present time the most common form of heating is a radiator system complemented with a ventilation system. A ceiling heating system with combined heating and ventilation can replace the two separated systems. The benefit with a ceiling heating solution is that it saves space since the radiator system is no longer needed.

Syftet med denna studie är att belysa för- och nackdelar med polisens användning av GPS-positionering av polisfordon. Det polisiära GPS-systemet beskrivs, effektivitetsvinster, organisatoriska vinster och säkerhetsmässiga fördelar belyses. Vidare diskuteras i vad mån integriteten påverkas vid användningen av systemet. Polisens GPS-enhet är integrerad i polisens radiosystem Aurora C-52 och ger en automatisk positionering av polisfordon med presentation på kommunikationscentralens karta. Background: In the martial art of Muay Thai, techniques are used with hands, elbows, knees and kicks. The contestants are divided into different weight classes and experience levels. The aim of this thesis is to study what conceptions of literature that are present in the teacher magazine Svenskläraren between the years 1985 and 2012. In other words: what is the underlying view on literature's value as a teaching aid and why should we study it in school? I relate my analysis to previous research about the use of fiction in education. A critical methodology has been used to study the material. In my results I distinguish three conceptions of literature that are present in Svenskläraren.

How does the idea of entrepreneurship for young people relate to media discourses? We have analysed magazines on entrepreneurship from the perspective of Faircloghs critical discourse analysis method to see how the magazines, by there own position in the entrepreneurships discourse, relate the idea of young entrepreneurship. The society wants more people to start their own business, why? Summary:The Clinical Training Center at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala uses new methods for educating and training veterinary students. Among these methods are computer programs. The aim of this study was to create an interactive application based on data from horses CT-scanned at the Center for Medical Image and Visualization at Linköping University Hospital. The purpose of this application is for veterinary students to be able to use multidimensional visualization to study equine anatomy. The resulting application named "EQUINE VIRTUAL ANATOMY - Flash in the Tunnel" consists of data from six heads, one left foreleg and a wooden dalahorse.
